A must visit place when you are in San Francisco. I had great experience here. The staff was super friendly and professional at the same time. If you live in San Francisco and haven't visited even once, then do go. You will never regret. But make sure to take your headphones along for a better experience.

A great place to take the family or go on a date. So many pieces of art to look at and enjoy. The museum is so impressive on how large it is with 7 floors. The best part was having outdoor spaces in the museum to get fresh air and away from the crowds.

Great experience. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was really empty. The staff was really friendly and exceptional. So worth going now as a local to enjoy easier entry and to avoid the tourist crowds. Don't get me wrong, I miss the tourist but it was a wonderful experience to have the museum to yourself.

SF MoMA
visionary artist Nam Jun paik exhibition
Over 200 works of 50 years of art and technology
The most visible opening after the 2019 exhibition at Tate Modern London
The most impressive thing seems to be the CRT TV garden. A TV monitor garden with all his thoughts..

Exhibitions regularly held by Nam June Paik Foundation, such as London, San Francisco, New York, etc., inspire a lot of digital juniors and POP art generation. Especially, San Francisco seems to be more popular because it is a techie environment.

As an opportunity, I went to the membership open time on Saturday morning quietly observed.

One of my favorite museums in San Francisco. Recently re-opened since the onset of Covid19. Make sure to plan which installations/galleries you want to see as some of them limits capacity at a time. Check in and have your QR code handy.

Parking on site, they give certain percentage of discount if arriving by car. Ride shares conveniently drop you off at the entrance. Few minutes walk away from a Bart station too.

Restaurant/s and cafe/s currently closed, but should soon accept patrons too.

They have a couple of free days/family days a year so you can get free entry. Otherwise, membership is so worth it as well!

I agree with the other reviews. It's really hot inside and poor ventilation. There was no social distancing. If you are bringing a backpack prepared to carry it on the front side of your body. The outside area was closed. In regards to the modern art it was nice and beautiful. The gallery workers were nice and friendly as well.

You absolutely CAN NOT pass up the chance to visit this museum at least once in your life. My husband and have been here several times and it s a wonderful experience every single time. They are constantly adding new art to see so you never get old of this place, expect to spend anywhere from 2-4 hours here and you will have to find a parking garage to park in.

Spend 3 hours there and not get bored. Only $25. Download the app and bring headphones so you can listen to the detailed review on artwork with labeled with a number. Makes the experience even better. Go!!

Not a fan of the curation. I've been to other modern art museums and have appreciated them, so it's not like I utterly despise modern art but some of them screamed lack of inspiration. Some good pieces here and there but overall not a fan. Attached to this review are the pieces that I believed stood out the most to me.
