Great help for the community. Fun assembly line volunteer work to help feed people in need.

Really a fun time to help the food banks in SF. My group went and filled bags of cashews for about two hours. The whole room ended up packing over 2,400 pounds of cashews.

It's a rewarding experience to help out and a great team building event for offices.

I do all my volunteer work here. Its a great place to do help out the community without having to deal with people. Not everyone wants to deal with homeless people or spend time with elderly people. Here you come in help out for two hours and your done.

You'll enjoy volunteering at the SF Food Bank! The staff are kind, funny, and very appreciative of everyone's time and efforts. There's a break room with coffee/tea/hot chocolate, so if you go in the morning hours and need to have a beverage to wake you up, you're set. Safety is key and SF Food Bank makes sure the work and space is clean and safe at all times.

I love volunteering at the Food Bank. I just did it again this morning. They are so organized that you don't have to worry about much, just pick a job and have fun with friends or even strangers. Today I worked with 3 other people and we had a great time working as fast as we could to see how much carrots and crackers we package in 2 hours.
