My dad is since Saturday in the thoracic department at Calmette. He had lung surgery on Monday. His operation was scheduled for 12h they operated around 16:30. They put him in a room of intensive care, a room without heating, shameful !!! Fortunately after a while a caregiver went to get an auxiliary heater and blanket. Between two the heating is repaired. Some staff members treat him brutally, without compassion for a 83-year-old man with cancer !! My daddy cries every day, it's hard to feel helpless. They told him normally to be able to return on Friday or Monday. At home I hope he will be able to return soon. Previously he stayed at De Dunkerque Hospital for 3 weeks. When you do not have the patience to take care of the sick, then change your job !!!!! Fortunately there are some good elements otherwise I think it is to become depressed. And the hospital very old and not very clean! One positive thing the hospital has good surgeons. I hope my dad will come back soon and we will take care of him at home.
