Was looking for group therapy and learning useful coping skills, was met with jenga and 4-5 hours of movies. not helpful at all. wrong meals were delivered, and nurses didn t stop conversation about homicidal topics. do not recommend if you are seeking help for any mental health issue. did not ensure social distancing or masks during covid.
staff did not teacher about positive coping skills, ways to flip negative thoughts into positive ones, or anything of the sort. the doctors talk to you for 5 minutes and then attempt to put words in your mouth.

My Mom was admitted due to behavior issues stemming from dementia/alzheimer's disease. I read the reviews and ratings and I was scared to death for my Mom. The admission process was very smooth and the male night nurse was extremely professional. The staff acted appropriately to my Mothers needs. I went back to visit Mom and was totally convinced this was the best, safest, comfortable place for my Mom during this difficult time in her life. She appeared well rested, calm, very coherent and comfortable. I do not understand the other reviews but I can tell you with certainty I am impressed with the treatment, care and comfort provided by the staff.
My mother is currently in this facility and has been for 5 days . I had to request a meeting with a Dr - no outreach at all to the family. But the people caring for the patients seem to be good that I have engaged directly. More to follow as I learn more over the next few days and report more back here.
The facility needs to follow court orders regarding a parent requesting medical information about their child.
I was denied access to speaking with my child and my child s information because the father instructed them. It s unacceptable.
It s alarming how Dr Garcia is so easily manipulated by someone who is a covert narcissist and charming. Her education in mental health should be questioned. Her approach is to embarrass, to shame and to give guilt. It s doing harm!
To medicate a patient and release back to an abuser is completely negligent. Incomprehensible.

1 week stay here for our parent. Really, nothing was done. Very disorganized and medically deficient on the physician side.
Our parent was discharged on multiple incorrect or missing medications. Docs were unwilling to address this matter or even look at his chart to fix it. This is something I have never seen. We had to fend for ourselves to get meds right.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE!!!!! Just called to check on a loved one that was pink slipped...spoke to the nurse...she gave me all kinds of information about my loved one and never asked my name or relationship to the patient?! And even allowed me to talk to the patient without ever knowing who i was!
As someone who was a patient there, it wasnt the worst but it could have been way better, the only good thing was nurse ken and nurse kelsy ( i might have misspelled her name) i would not recommend if you need actual help
