Horrible customer service. Extremely rude staff would rather rush you off the phone then do their job. Refused to to send me ac a customer my own policy documents. Would have preferred to leave 0 stars

Excellent insurance company that employs experienced Underwriters. They review each account on its own merits and which allows them to be flexible and consistent. These are the people to call when your account does not fit into the online platforms.
Seneca is a great company to work for and has afforded me many opportunities to grow my career. Great company culture, people who care about each other and are truly a family. Company is a good size where you can make an impact. Great benefits and rewards. I would highly recommend them as both a starting career and as a long term growth opportunity.
I got the opportunity to work as an intern at Seneca over my winter break and the people and environment of the office were great. I was always approached by a new worker if I have not already met them and they were always willing to help me with anything, no matter what it was. Everyone was friendly and the work environment was very calm and productive. I also had the chance to speak with some of the managers, vice presidents, as well as the CEO Marc Wolin. I had great conversations with each person I talked to and they were giving me advice and offering help wherever they could as well. Overall, I thought Seneca Insurance Company was great, including the work environment and all the workers that I spoke with.
Seneca Insurance Company accounting department for direct bill can never get a person to talk to. Phone calls always goes to voice mail. Not sure if the worker who answers the phone call ever works. Does Seneca supervise their accounting department or never?
I have worked at Seneca for 4 months now, I absolutely love working for them. I have worked for AIG 10yrs and CNA 10yrs(this wasn't me leaving, my job title was outsourced to India & Manila), that was 2014 and I wasn't able to obtain a position with another insurance company, so I have a 4yr non insurance gap, and here we are. Seneca has the best management in my opinion. Even when I was interviewing, I felt relaxed during my meeting and we all felt that we knew other like forever, lol. My manager said in my interview your perfect candidate for this position. My confidence level took me to cloud 9. I love love working in the claims department its where my heart is...so I am forever grateful for Seneca Insurance giving me the opportunity that I needed to get back into the insurance industry!
This Insurance is the worst ever! The people are very incompetent, rude and just horrible customer service never mind disrespectful . They have no idea half the time what they are talking about. You can never file a complaint because it seems like everyone is friends with one another so your complaint goes no where! Like the old saying "you get what you paid for". You pay cheap you get cheap customer service! I would advise everyone as Business Owners to go elsewhere. Spend your money better!
No one ever answers the phone or respond to fax, I canceled the insurance by informing them by fax and they still sending me bills and they even sent me to collections though I canceled the insurance 5 months ago .
GREG POLSKY is the nastiest, rudest, most disrespectful person i have ever had call. For a second i thought this was some random person asking why a letter was sent to him and not some professional. After i asked for a letter confirming his verbal denial on something, he completely denied and went on to mock me. It was THE WORST. smh.
Do not do business with Seneca. Poor customer service. I have paid them 5 years of insurance. They canceled my policy when a water main pipe underground broke and listed my property as water hazard.
