Semmes-Murphey Clinic Review

Recently had surgery on L3-L4 and my quality of life has been improving by the day! Thank you Dr. Weaver and the wonderful staff at Semmes Murphey.

The entire team here deserves FIVE STARS!!! Liz, Debbie, Laurie, Holly, Dr Brophy, even the anesthesiologist team!! Everyone was courteous and helpful. God s blessings to you all and thank you for the care you gave us on today!!

This is how a Dr. visit should go. Efficient, Friendly and fast.

Dr Graham has been wonderful to work with. Also, Dr Polk for my nerve blocks has been awesome. The staff are kind and caring . I will be meeting with a surgeon soon and I know that will be a great informative experience also. My husband had back surgery here several years ago by Dr Foley and has had great results. We both can t say enough positive things about this clinic, doctors and staff.

I went in today for the first time to get a second opinion. Walked out crying cause the doctor I got didn t want to listen to me. When my friend stood up for me he said, well maybe she needs to see your doctor then. Definitely unprofessional. I wouldn t recommend Dr. Feiyu Chen. Everybody else and place was fine but his attitude and unwilling to listen to me on why I believe I don t have a conversion disorder made my 2 hour trip (and 5 minute appointment) a waste. Don t book an appointment for him unless you feel like being belittled and wanting to cry.

My mother in-law had an appointment last Tuesday and was told that she would have to sign in on a kiosk. She was very nervous and with that I would love to applaud a young lady name Latoya who helped her sign in. She was very patience and very friendly with my mother in-law. I watched Latoya as she helped others and her demeanor never changed. Although no social distancing was being practiced at the kiosk. I know that it is a very difficult time for front line essential workers to continuously work and I hope a big company like you appreciate and recognizes great employees. Overall we had good experience.

I spoke to Ginger in the business office who was very concerned about my experience. She and I contacted my insurance provider who cleared up the payment issue. I was seen by Dr. Bond. He informed me about the procedure. After answering a Facebook ad concerning essential tremors, I was contacted by a representative who took my insurance information and set an appointment. After having set aside time for the appointment, traveling to the clinic, completing paperwork and waiting, I was told my insurance would not cover the visit. The advertisement led me to believe this was a study. I will lodged a complaint.

There's alot of Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, Staff, & Crew in one big building. Seeing patients to the best of their abilities...

Do not schedule with the nurse practitioner Melanie Laforce. I had my appointment with her a few weeks ago, and she is terribly unfriendly. Her bedside is poor. She doesn t listen at all, and kept interrupting my wife. We want a provider that is professional and respectful. Do not make an appointment with her. She also wrote a prescription for a medication that interacts with another one I am on, and the pharmacy had to catch it. We will not be back.

I am a patient of Dr Foley at Semmes Murphy. I am one month post op. Dr Foley and Dr Frank Farohki did an amazing job fusing my vertebrae! I can sit without excruciating pain. I can walk without nerve pain in my feet. God bless them and keep them, they are doing very fine work here. Oh, and thank you Nurse Ashley, you are doing the job you were called to because you do it so so well.
