Unresponsive service and inadequate support when needed.

Lovely and cosy if your waiting to see someone plus all so nice polite kind helpful people

I think it's disgusting how you leave my daughter's mother with out a working water valve to install her new washing machine and also not having a working mains water valve. She is pregnant and you expect her to hand wash the clothes till next week and ring them if she has a bad water leak. Take it having 2 kids living at the property isn't a good enough reason for you to send someone out. Useless

It's an office. The reception is run by nice ladyship who do try to help you.

CORRUPT HOUSING GROUP
Definitely work on a 2 tier system... You work - you get nothing. You don't work - you get everything FACT !! My partner moved into her house & was promised a new kitchen fast forward 2 years -- NOTHING, a surveyor was meant to visit but couldn't because of the snow (when we had the bad snow) so seny an email saying it didn't require a new one !!! Now she has been told she MIGHT get one in 21/22. While others in her street ( non workers ) have had theirs fitted.. this clearly shows all the signs of VICTIMISATION as the harder you work the less you get.

Tell you can do a rent to buy on a property as a young family wanting to get on the property ladder is hard the house we moved into was nice and a new build we kitted it out paying over 2grand for carpets and other things etc and when I rang them to then apply for the rent to buy we was told it's only a rent property and basically we had done it up from our own choice and judgement pathetic staff and was condescending on the phone 0stars but I can't leave 0

I have to be my friends flat and i can say it disgusting the celling has marks on it and the caprts are disgusting hasent been panited before she moved in things are broken in the property it needs a lot of work done to get it to be a home to be honest i wouldn't live here my self if i had a choice wouldent recommended sell wood to any one to be honest . sell wood need to come out and sort this flat out 77mascroft road

A difficult place to find. Hidden by the railway station.

Worst housing associations ive ever come across leaking taps took 6 weeks to fix caused damage to the units had to fight for almost 3 years to get one unit door replaced with the council involved

Won't help if your homeless and don't have I'd and have no money

Very poorly they are not proper qualified staff.. gladly I move to Bristol by curo company are very good high standards qualified for deaf awareness equipment, very happy here better than Trowbridge as my old neighbour told us text message old flat downstairs lots of problems by druggers by polices who kept break in .. I m glad safely in back in Bristol where I can grew up ..my key worker so happy see me old faces .. good luck u all selwood I can see pictures in the future selwood will closed down

I couldn't have hoped for better service! I found the staff at Selwood repairs dept to be very kind and helpful and the electrician and plumber that came to my house were superb! So thank you so much to you all I am truly grateful

The one star is generous Selwood housing are a complet joke , everyone should stay clear of the charity company ... all they care about is getting money out of residents , their zero tolerance policy is a load of rubbish as they don t do anything to help any residents. They have given me nonstop false information on everything ! When we went for our pre tenancy interview we were told that we would be moved to another selwood property when our daughter needed a garden . This didn t happen and she has nowhere to play here . The repairs are awful as well ! We waited just over a month to get our daughter window replaced ! In this time she had chipboard in the window, this resulted in a chest infection and a trip to a+e to be put on a nebuliser. No care was given that they made my child poorly ! The alarms in the block of flats will be going off for four hours before they will send anyone out to reset them ! I have visited there offices and again just get fobbed off with the same things log it or we will chase this up . NOTHING ever gets done about anything going on no matter how high up the management ladder you go . On top of this my partner and I now have anxiety and depression due to where we live and living conditions and selwood housing still show no care .

Been a tenant for 11 years next month . Can safely say any repairs I have reported have been dealt with..did have new windows a few years ago had a major problem with who they contacted in ( he broke my sink and left without saying ) they even sorted that super quick always found staff to be helpful an supportive. Mike birch was one the best I'm personally grateful for his input and help a few years ago..

Really cant fault them been spot on with repairs and made moving into my new home via swap easy always willing to help with any issues

i am a resident of selwood... they dont follow their tenancy agreements at all. my neighbour has a dog they're not allowed and selwood know this but rather get rid of the no pets policy, than deal with my complaint... i've made a years worth of noise complaints too and nothing has been done... so little i ended up being sectioned due to a deteriorating mental health, lack of sleep/..... if you get offered a flat from these.... i wouldn't take it

This company is DREADFUL! They have absolutely NO duty of care to any of their residents.

In the 4 years I have had the misfortune to rent from Sellwood, everyone in the block has had HUGE problems with other residents: an Alcoholic who knocked on everyone's door in the early hours asking for a cigarette even though I, certainly had told him 100 times that I do not smoke.



The said individual - who has now finally left the block - defaced front doors and put glue in the door locks of anyone who had dared to challenge his behaviour, the day before he left. Then there was his outrageous drug habit - the whole block stank of cannabis whilst he was there - it hit you as you opened the outside door to come in. Sellwood's response: call the Police. This issue got SO bad and Sellwood refused to do ANYTHING about it, despite dozens of complaints (if we could ever get through on the 'phone) that we residents wondered if our housing assosiation were supplying the drug: 'SELLWEED'

Currently we have a female resident who looks for trouble outside the laundry room which is 2 steps away from her front door. Her trick is to leave her washing in the machine - sometimes for days until it smells - only to SCREAM abuse at anyone who dares to take her washing out so as to use the machine. There is compelling evidence also that he uses the facilities to wash all her friends clothes also. She blatently states that, because she has a baby, we have no reason to complain about her behaviour and her male partner will often park his car badly across the 3 parking spaces outside the main front door that nobody else can part there with ease. She told me, soon after moving in, that the 3 parking spaces in question should be used by her partner, here friends and family only!

It has been a long, rocky road with Sellwood. One resident waited 4 weeks for his shower to be repaired. Sellwoods response was that a 4 week lead time was 'perfectly acceptable' and that he could always have a bath. It was pointed out that his flat did not have a bath!!! I came home last night to find that all the lights in the communial area were not working - no joke at 9pm on a December evening when stairs have to be used!!!

Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy, there was a lot of comment in the press that people living in social housing were treated very much as second class citizens. This is certainly the case with Selwood Housing.

I agree I've been through hell since I've came to salewood housing all they care about is making money they don't care about the tenant's I've been her 6 years and I've been racially abused twice with know support from salwood or the police its a real sham that things have got this bad if I defended myself I would be sat in jail

If Selwood Housing maintained the gardens of their properties as well as they maintain their own offices then our neighbourhood would look considerably better. The gardens at The Homestead and at Ashmead Court are not maintained properly and have an adverse effect on the residents of the Ashmead Estate. The green areas look more like pasture land for cattle.

Selwood take some pride in your facilities and do the neighbours a big favour by cutting the grass to a normal height and cut it more frequently. If you dont want to maintain it then simply pave it as that way it would look smarter.

To the directors of Selwood I say we live here - you don't. We have to look at it - you don't.

Absolutely horrendous! Been waiting over a year to have my windows replaced, was told it would happen jan 2017! My house is freezing and they couldnt care less! But when it comes to wanting money from you they ll do anything they can to scare it out of you! Recently seperated from my partned so had to cancel my direct debit and apply for housing benefit as i have a child and only work part time! I contacted them and explained my situation yet still had a letter saying they were going to take me to court!
