If you value your health. Please look elsewhere. I went in with a sensitive issue that was very time sensitive. Not only did they not offer to help they recommended the health department. A waste of a hospital RUN!!!!
So my husband was brought in for emergency surgery. They wouldn t let me stay and they where rude and not helpful at all. I came back in the am to see if he was still alive because nobody who answered phones had any information and if someone did, refused to give me any, they turned me away saying due to the pandemic we aren t allowing visitors. Yet I m allowed into a hospital in Virginia to watch my grand daughter be born and come and go all night as I pleased. South Carolina or self regional you need to do better!
I spent approximately 10 days, in and out of ICU! The treatment there is frightening. I literally watched a respiratory therapist, knock my oxygen down from 8 to 2. Which put me in ICU. This hospital is the worst. Shady stuff going on in there. I would like to thank my ICU NURSES AND COURTNEY my nurse on the 5th floor.
I wish I could give a higher rating. Top notch care and professionalism from all staff. From the Doctors, Nurses and PT, to the Kitchen and Janitorial folks, ALL made me feel welcome and comfortable. My stay was for a week dealing with multiple injuries due to a car wreck. From the 1st day to last, nothing short of 5 star treatment!
I had been to the er a lot bc I was sick and no one could seem to find and answer. One of the doctors told me I needed to be checked into mental health bc nothing was wrong. I wish I new his name that awful to tell someone. Glad my doctor listen to me and fix the problem.
I wish I could rate in the negatives. I went to the emergency room with a blood clot and a black toe. Was told the toe is fine. And I cant self diagnose a blood clot. I've been living with clots for 15 yrs. Anyway, I was sent home and told to come back next day for a scan. Came back and sure enough there was a new clot. And the"doctor" said the toe looked like a blood blister. Now I'm a below the knee amputee.
My wife was brought to this hospital, self Regional medical center in greenwood. She has been in this hospital for a week and has been treated worse than any inmate in a prison, has to wait hours for basic common needs ( use toilet, something to eat or drink, to get meds) one a daily basis and this only a couple basic needs. She nor myself or any family member will ever return to this hospital. I would not being a stray animal to this hospital for care. I am currently looking for an attorney. This place should be shut down.
I was treated on 4th floor and the care was awesome. Dr. Mark Olson and staff did a great job! Alot of long term employees working there which speaks volumes. Dr. Santana was awesome as well. To all of the staff on the 4th floor thank you very much for a job well done. Jennifer, Lois, Emily and others you were great!
Thank you for providing superb care to our dad in his final days. The compassion of the staff, especially the doctors and nurses, was beyond my expectation. The constant communication and protection of his privacy will always be special to me. More than that, you found a way to honor his wishes and get him home to us so that he did not pass away alone. Forever grateful I will always be. That goes beyond practicing medicine; that is displaying genuine human kindness at its finest. Appreciate you all!
Please someone do something about this hospital. A lot of negative is going on there. For Covid patients all they want to do is to put you on the ventilated machine which mortality rate is very high 88.1%
I know you get paid good when patients are on the ventilated machine, but have mercy they are our family!
Also they need to start letting relatives donate plasma for their relatives, this is totally wrong. If it can safe my brothers life we have same blood type but they refuse because it's their policy! What kind of policy is this to let people die but not try everything to save them?
Before going to any hospital do a little research, they get paid good for Covid patients, it's all about $ not patients life. May God help us all.
