If you're looking for something to do in Edmonton or have friends visiting, this is the place to go! I've done the segway tours twice and each time it's a blast. This little River Valley gem has activities for all seasons and fantastic and knowledgeable staff and tour guides.
Every time a relative comes for a visit, I try to take them down for a Valley tour with these fine folks. Just love it!

Cool spot on the river valley. Offers many types of tours, like snow shoeing, Segways, biking etc. They also have a nice selection of local icecream that is to die for!! Worth checking out. Awesome to have summer and winter options available for stuff to do in the river valley.

Very fun and a great, informative tour. However, my Segway continuously gave me warning signals and went slower than others so I could not keep up with the group. I asked the tour guide many times and I was ignored every time. I would rate it 5/5 for the experience and tour but 3/5 for the customer service and respect.

Our group of four really enjoyed ourselves. The water temperature was great. Coasting down the North Saskatchewan while enjoying our beautiful river valley was fantastic.
Definitely a cool little tour. Something that is completely different than anything I had done. They took great care in the instruction and once we were comfortable, let us go off a little. Just watch out for the gap in the bridge on the way back.
Highly recomend 60min Segway tour or 90mins. ZOE and Crish have done excellent job from training to all the way end. We really enjoyed lot and highly reccomend this Edmonton Segway tour.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They assisted me with renting a bicycle , and had a selection of helmets and locks to take with me on my ride. I would recommend this place to my friends and family
I was very nervous at first but got the hang of it quickly and felt super comfortable. The guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Will definitely go again and would like to try the winter tour next time ! Highly recommend! Fun for the locals and visitors from out of town.

Had such a great time! Was nervous at first but quickly got the hang of it. I highly recommend it. I've lived here for practically my entire life and never been to areas that we were taken through. Turns out the young gentleman teaching and showing us around; it was only his second day. My group thought he's been doing it for a long time. He did an excellent job.
We took the tour on June 8, 2016 and Joe was our guide. He was just so much fun, always happy and laughing, and he made us feel special. This was an advanced tour because this was our 16th time on a Segway, although only the second time in Canada. We had just done the Calgary tour two days earlier. Anyway, what made this tour the best Segway tour ever, can be awarded to two things: Joe and the diversity of the terrain that we travelled on - grass, sidewalks, dirt, narrow trails, hills, bridges, etc.. Of course Joe was very informative about the area and always kept safety as a priority. The girl in the office was extremely pleasant too, and shame on me, because I am old, I don't remember her name. Unfortunately we are not from the area, or we would be taking this tour at least once a week. But we hope to return and get to be lucky enough to tour with Joe again. Thank you Joe. We had a great time hiring bikes and riding along the river trails... The bike I rented was lacking maintenance the gears would not work as they should and would shift randomly. This is a safety concern.. Please get your bikes fixed!
Was a bit hesitant at first about the process of how to use a Segway. However, the friendly staff spent enough time to ensure we felt comfortable and safe before we departed- which really helped. The young gentleman who was in training and guided our tour did an excellent job. He showed great confidence and it was a pleasure to have him as our tour guide. I highly recommend this tour to anybody. I will definitely plan on going on the winter tour!

Our family has rented bikes here a number of times for riding the river valley when family from out of town comes. Never had an issue, always quick to get going, price is good, and bikes always seem well enough maintained.
Had a great afternoon riding the Ebikes, we had a minor malfunction that couldn t be replicated when we returned the bike. But they refunded us anyway! So nice of them, very appreciated. Would definitely recommend
Great time. Staff was pleasant and gentle starting us out, but stepped it up as we became more comfortable with the equipment. I can't weight to do it again with River Valley Adventures.
Excellent Segway tour. So scenic. Worth every penny. I ve gone a corporate work tour and for a date. Both were fun. Also the mountain bikes are of high quality.

Great little cafe with riverfront patio! They do Segway tours, bike rentals, paddle board rentals, snowshoe rentals and even sell segways!
Very friendly service. Great bike ride and rentals. Only shock was a 500 dollar deposit which wasn't on the website. Otherwise, very smooth bike ride.
We had Chloe as our trainer. She took us around Edmonton on their segways. She did a fantastic job and it was an amazing experience . She did her best to make sure we are comfortable !

Lots of fun, was my first time renting a bike and biking through the river valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely do it again. I m not an expert on bike rentals by all means but the prices seemed to be pretty good compared to other bike rental shops. Plus they are right in the perfect spot for exploring so saves the hassle of having to load bikes in and out of the car etc. Will be doing this again!
Chloe was the best tour guide we've had - professional but fun, got on well with our group! she took us on a fabulous adventure to parts of our beautiful city I've never seen before. Great way to see Edmonton
This Segway tour in Edmonton is fantastic! We had a great time with Chloe as our guide. She took us to explore Edmonton trails from the low-level to the new Walterdale bridge with top notch storytelling of area history. Totally a to do any season for tourists and residents!
She was so patient ,always encouraging us to do ourself, despite the 4c degrees of cold weather she still manage to teaches us how to maneuver the Segway.
River Valley Adventure Co. was kind enough to donate a prize to our silent auction fundraiser. We appreciate their generosity and community spirit!
We were visiting from Winnipeg and were excited and nervous to try something like this. Our guide David was awesome and made us feel at ease He was funny, witty and personable. I encourage anyone to try this while visiting Calgary!

Took my mom for Segway tour and she's never been on segway before. Jordan did an awesome job training us on how to ride these things. The tour was awesome, got a chance to go full speed, up and down the hills and some rough terrain. Got to see a part of Edmonton where I've never been before and Jordan talked about history and culture along the way. Great experience! Highly recommend!
Well this is a tough review. I believe this company has potential but business practices are questionable. My 77 year old mom wanted to suprise us all one Christmas morning as she heads to her bedroom by foot and comes back to the kitchen area on a ninebot . Well needless to explain all of this boring story. So I will started 3 and a half years ago when CS of RVAC. Sold my mom the unit as a demo model.
Odometer read 52 km. The last time the screen lit up it said 57 km...I dropped it off for service. They are also the service location for western Canada. Well after two years of waiting I finally got the unit back with absolutely nothing done to repair the unit. I have contacted the company's service department. I have still not even received a response from the company and it has been three weeks.
Nice place to discover Segway and learn about the city. Chloe is an excellent coach and you will enjoy your ride.
