I get a phone call from this company offering me free to come and make a quote for parts.

Having plans to change some of mine, I accept the appointment.

A commercial comes to my house and after having made the tour of my house to show him the shutters in question to change.

A single estimate has been proposed to me, 15.535E for 5 aluminum shutters guaranteed 20 years and the best quality (Exceptional for wind / water / heat).

Refusing this price, he tells me about an extremely tempting offer that lowers the price to 9.900E. But, since the offer is only available today, we must sign immediately!

Following the installation of a portal by L'Expert de l'Habitat, my Mom was approached in May 2019 to change her veranda awning. And there, the beginning of the nightmare: the blind which should have been installed in September 2019, was indeed installed in January 2020. In March 2020 it broke down. Since then, despite numerous reminders, no technician has come to repair. According to customer service, the replacement part has been ordered and received. At the beginning of October, finally, an intervention was scheduled, on the one hand a free repair of the portal (in compensation, and I thank them) and on the other hand with an external service provider (to troubleshoot the blind as quickly as possible), but this one did not have a ladder to climb on the roof and left without doing anything, saying that he would spend the following Sunday !! Nothing since. Incompetence or dishonesty, we are entitled to ask the question when the business has dragged on for a year and we do not have the enjoyment of a product that we pay for each month.

I placed an awning order in mid-May 2020. The deposit check of 1500 euros was cashed at the beginning of June but no news since. Cannot reach someone by phone. I think there is a bit of abuse.
The installation has finally been made on 08/25/20 unfortunately very disappointed with the result the material does not seem very solid and at the slightest gust of wind the arms move a lot and the canvas also no wind sensor as specified on documentation. This is not very fair because the price is still 5,900 euros. I really regret this purchase that I had to wait almost 4 months so impossible to cancel my order. Especially beware of these canvassing Home Experts are scammers and profiteers from people of a certain age. I also note that I am not the only one of this opinion so be very careful.

We contacted EXPERT DE L'HABITAT and other companies because my wife and I wanted to install a pellet stove.
We received a visit from a really competent and pleasant technician who was able to explain to us which stove to choose according to our needs. We received the quote a few days later and decided to work with this company. What convinced us? the professionalism of the technician, his kindness, the products of course, the purchase cost above all :) and what reassured us is that the company has been in existence for over 22 years. We were installed quickly. The technician who installed the stove for us was perfect, quick installation and really well finished and clean site. Since this installation we are completely satisfied with the product. I recommend this product to everyone, which allowed us to save more than 60% on the heating bill! For our part, we recommend Experts de l'Habitat and have even recommended them to our close friends.

Having dealt with the agency in Boulogne (which probably has different business practices than those described by some users), the experience was rather positive.

I was contacted by phone to get a free quote for the change of my windows. I was at that time making quotes for this project.

RDV taken, a commercial came to my home and unlike the others, took time to take the ratings, to explain the operation of the company and the type of product offered.

Knowing already the market prices, his quote (made on the spot for once and not sent by email 3 weeks after !!) was quite reasonable considering the quality of the product (FRENCH) and the kindness and competence of the young seller.

Order form signed, 8 weeks after 6 windows replaced, nice and clean workers, and the possibility of financing the cost by a 5 times free of charge.

In short, simple and effective. I recommend this company (at least that of Boulogne in the Hauts de Seine)

I have been trying for months to reach them by phone without success. Messaging 'Due to a lot of calls etc ...' I left half a dozen messages asking to call me back, which they still haven't done.
The 3 French windows in the living room have a problem, I hear the sound of the wind. Very loud when there is a lot of it and in the form of a very unpleasant hiss when there is little. As soon as I open one of the windows, the noise stops (in both cases, strong wind or not strong).
No problem on the 8 other windows, nor on those that I did not change.

First appointment canceled by the company, postponed to the next day.
The technician calls the day before appointment to confirm. The next day, 20 minutes after the appointment, no one is there, I call the technician (on his mobile phone, the same as the day before so) who explains that we have never had an appointment.

Same tactics as already discussed on previous reviews. A cold call - a rdv for a Saturday morning when both myself and my husband were there. A quote to replace a garage door with an electric one for 9,500 euros.
We said it was too high and the salesman then called his boss to see if he could 'help us with the price' - result, a new quote of 4,950 euros .

We asked for a devis (although it was obvious that he wanted a cheque ASAP) and he said he would send us one - still waiting.
The good news is that in the meantime we have found another company who gave us a much more reasonable quote of 3,300 euros.

Do not go anywhere near this company. Warn your friends, your network and especially any old/vulnerable people around you. They are not experts, they are cowboys. Don't use them!
