If you can donate ; please do. Some families are really struggling.
I think the act of helping to the best of your ability...to change someone's life for the good is always 5 stars to me. This is what we are supposed to do. Not everyone is always going to agree
Can often hear workers making sexual remarks towards females, rude and unprofessional.
I love participating its fun for me. Meeting all the new faces from the youth to the wise. I love ot here and definitely will be returning...again and again.
Second Harvest is real eye-opener it's hard to believe the amount of food that goes through there in a day 2 places that need to feed families. The volunteers that are there that help go through the vegetables and fruit put them in the boxes it's a lot of work they do. I was there for a class of 18 people and I truly loved it I will go back again.
Thank you SO VERY much for the mobile food bank! We received a lot of yummy food and we do not have to worry about going hungry for awhile. :)
Great organization helping feed the local community!!
Amazing ppl who help families eat and prepare meals

Second Harvest does wonderful work for East Valley Baptist Church. They even bring the food for our pantry which is the fourth Saturday. We normally serve 90-100 families. You are welcome to come. Stay for a wonderful church service on Sunday at 11:00am.
One of my favorite places to volunteer! There seems to always be a good variety if change from day to day in what you are doing. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and so are the other volunteers you meet there.
Great organization that supports eastern Washington by feeding people who are in need of food, 40% are kids!!!
Wonderful place to spend time helping others. I am grateful for this helping hand in our community.
Think it's great what there doing, I don't think it's cool that they offer community service hours only to college student's.
Wonderful compassionate organization that does whatever they can do to make someone's life so much better! Their program Spokane Food Fighters is an awesome service to the community. I so appreciate this program since it is difficult for me to go out to the food banks with my disabilities! Thank for your help and dedication to the community!!
Not a food bank like the web says... Wasted my last $2 on the bus to find out....
Great organization that helps those in need by providing fresh and healthy meal options.
If you want to volunteer your time it is absolutely worth checking out 2nd Harvest. Lots of fun and you get to help people in need.
Great place to volunteer - especially for Americorps members. All the people there are kind & very willing to give in any way they can. Working with the food is easy & not dangerous in any way. Plus, it feels good when you leave knowing you did something for someone else & 2nd harvest makes sure they recognize you for your contributions.
Wonderful place to volunteer - amazing yo see the impact your time has one the community with the hands on work! We took a class here as well and were very impressed by the instruction and the impact of the fee for the community.

Goin to cookin classes at second harvest!! Also wanted to say thank u for all the wonderful things u do for people in need..
I was dropping off someone at chas clinic, their bus was there. After looking at it for awhile a helper came up and asked me if I needed some food, I said yes. They brought me some groceries, when I got home to unpack them I was astonished at what they gave me, it was as if they knew exactly what I needed, healthy food, I have medical issues, it was like I had gone shopping for myself with my medical conditions in mind. I can't say enough good things about the people and the service they provide to our community, bless them one and all.
It was fun going with my grandaughter to the cooking class. They were so ftiendly and helpful. My grandaughter asked when we can do it again!
Very clean and well run facility. We went for a food sorting event as a company. The instructions were clear and if we had any questions, they were quick to answer. A great time giving back to the community.
Does not distribute food. But can point you in the right direction to who can
Great place to support. Lots of great caring people. You know your resources go straight to the cause when supporting second harvest.
Amazing things being done for the community here. Great place to volunteer
If you enjoy cooking classes, treat yourself to one at Spokane's 2nd Harvest. Their state-of-the-art cooking theater has twelve stainless steel stations and a beautiful kitchen complete with 2 screens over the stove so no one misses a move of the chef up front. I've been to 2 classes by refugees from World Relief and the food's been just great--Iraqi & Sudanese. Next is Russian. If you like ethnic food, you don't want to miss that! Put 9/20 on your calendar right now.
The people there are always friendly and they help you out with all your needs. We pick up for the Spokane Community College Food Bank and I can say nothing but good things about these people!
