I rarely, if ever, write negative reviews about companies but I am compelled to warn individuals of the absolutely terrible experience and customer service that we have received from this "financial institution". Without venting the depths of my anger and frustrations I will keep this short and sweet and tell you that I have credit and bank accounts with over 20 different companies from BOFA to SDCCU to Amex, Capital One, Chase, etc and I have NEVER in my entire life met with such resistance to helping their customers and POOR customer service.
It seems like a tiny company from calling in and speaking with the receptionist. God help you if for some reason LIFE happens and you miss a payment or go into collections because the people there are brutal and don't understand a thing. They are condescending, rude, obnoxious and utterly uncaring of hardships or situations. I've been yelled at and hung up on multiple times while just trying to get them paid.
Don't just think that this is happening because we were late on a payment. I would go as far to say that there are racist individuals there who have zero empathy and just want money. The sad part is that when I have gone out of my way to try to make sure they are paid in a timely manner I am met with resistance and suspicion. Incredibly disappointing.
I would NEVER EVER do business with this company again and I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for a financial institution for your banking or loan needs. I promise you, you will save yourself a headache and major frustrations. For lack of a better term, this "credit union" SUCKS.
