Nice place to stay, the draw back the hot tubs on the balcony isn't all that private, apts. across the street and the floor above you can see you. Otherwise, it's a nice place, employee's we're very helpful.

So the Sea Venture Hotel, lovely place, great views, wonderful people, unfortunate flooding and leaking. So we stayed at the Sea Venture for three days in March.

We knew ahead of time it would be raining, but rain at the beach is something we love! What we didn't love was the patio of our room flooding and rain water pouring inside.

When we informed the front desk they got is into a new room quickly, unfortunately that room had the same problem, as did the next room they put us in.

The fourth room was a partial ocean view versus the paid for full ocean view we had before. The management made up for this by purchasing our dinner at the on-site restaurant and comping our stay in the partial view room.

The final room was perfect and since the rain had stopped we were able to use the hot tub on the patio in full view of the ocean once more and the starry night sky.

While we had some bumps in the road the staff at the Sea Venture did their best to be helpful and apologetic at the same time.

Some thing the Sea Venture does is a Beach Experience where they set up an umbrella and chairs on the beach for you, we enjoyed this as well and had a great time. Despite the troubles we'll consider staying with the Sea Venture again!

We had a great time at the Sea Venture. The staff was excellent, and took care of our every need. My wife is handicapped and the bed was a little to high for her to get in alone, they came to the room, and remedied the problem in short order. The hot tub was relaxing at night, and enjoyed looking at the stars. We slept with the door open, listening to the sound of the surf. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies. The fireplace gave nice ambiance to the room. We ordered breakfast one morning, it was good. We each had a massage, the therapist Edwina was excellent. The pier shopping and eateries are all close by. The ocean view with the hot tub is definitely worth the cost.

Had a perfect family get a way. Enjoyed our stay in the cozy suite. Fireplace was beautiful but when it got warm there is no a/c. Would definitely stay again!

Spent the extra money to have an ocean view while in the jacuzzi, all very nice, until the management had a problem with the patron's across the hall at 1am.
Management felt it was necessary to bang on the door and yell and scream the F word for about 45 minutes. When I called to the front desk, they explained the patron's were being loud. Unfortunately the only loud I heard was this manager yelling profanities. We are locals and do a night away a few times a year. This is the last time I will stay here.

Beautiful Room with fireplace and huge TV on the wall

We were spoiled from the first moment we entered the hotel. Service and amenities on par with a $400 room at $140. Right on the beach and walking distance to everything in Pismo.

The beach just steps away. The rooms were nice and the bed was extra fluffy and comfy we loved sleeping in. Location was beautiful so much so that 'I do's' will be exchanged next month.

We stayed at the beach house and it is absolutely perfect for our family. This four bedroom beach is spacious and comes with all the amenities (kitchen, washer/dryer, board games, etc.). We also were able to order from their fine dinning restaurant and it was delivered to our dining table. We were able to enjoy a fine dining meal in the comfort of our beach house. Very nice to not have to take the kids to a restaurant after a long day at th beach. Thanks to Julia, Heidi, and Simon (restaurant Mgr) for making this trip memorable and relaxing. Everyone has bn friendly and professional. We will be making this our new family vacation spot.

This hotel is amazing, you can pretty much walk from reception into the beach in10 steps. Rooms were large and well designed and we also had a jacuzzi on our balcony. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone in the area

Utilized this property for a day long meeting space. Great room upstairs by the restaurant. Staff was very accommodating.

Well not what was expected. Our view was horrible. Room had no shower curtain and had other things that reminded us of a motel 6 quality. I was referred here which makes it worse. What it really comes down to is everything appears nice until you try to use it. We were located on the third floor.

This was our second stay at sea venture, and it's the location that keeps us bringing back. The hotel has renovated some (all) rooms since we were there and I guess they are still updating property. Overall it's a pleasant stay, with great restaurant overlooking Pacific ocean, and great bar outside seating. There were few kinks but I m sure with dedicated staff and management they will soon be over it. You can't go wrong with this hotel. So book it.

Went there for our honeymoon almost 16 yrs ago and loved it! Great view, close to shops etc. Greeted us w/champagne in our room and a congratulations note. Room service for breakfast. Small cozy room. Planning on going back for our anniversary one day soon. :)

Our room had a great view of a slum out back. Make sure you know what you're getting before you make the reservation.

Great view from third floor restaurant. Chicken nachos are very good steak tips tasted great but portion was tiny.

The wife and I stayed for one night, the room was immaculate clean and beautiful. We loved the private hot tub on our balcony and the beach view from it! Staff is extremely friendly and fun to talk to both at the front office and restaurant on top of the property. It s so peaceful here we even left our balcony door open all night to listen to the relaxing crashing of the waves. We will be recommending this place to especially couples for a nice quiet get away.

Nice place for a gateway. We would come back again. The staff is very polite and cooperative. They give beach towels n chairs for guest to use n return. Overall good stay. Redtaurant is also nice.. Morning breakfast comes to ur room at a reasonable cost.

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was great and the service was excellent. I just wish we had a view of the ocean which would have added to the ambience.

Customer service is excellent rooms very clean and the restaurant has a great food nice tables at the windows to see the sunset .must do. Our favorite place for 10 yrs.

This is only about the restaurant, not the hotel. The food here is absolutely spectacular. One of our favorite restaurants outside of new Orleans. One of our favorites ( we go back every time we are in central California) we had the filet and lobster and every detail of the meal- the bread, the butter, the sides and even the wine were excellent. And the steak and lobster were cooked to perfection. The service is great and the views are amazing. Only minor drawback is they could use a bit of remodeling as is a little dated.

The staff is exceptional here and the patio jacuzzi overlooking the ocean allows for some fantastically relaxing sunsets.

Right on the beach, hear the waves crashing at night ... Rooms nice, food service on time, Keureg in room ... Nickel and dime on the bill a little bit but overall very enjoyable. Staff professional and courteous.

Prices way too high and they smoke weed in the kitchen you could smell while we were trying to eat

Hot tub on balcony, beautiful room. Cheap room service for breakfast in the morning. As a local I choose Sea Venture for a romantic staycation. In comparison makes Sycamore mineral springs seem like a shabby motel.

That's a nice hotel nice accomodation and also that I like what I like they have a jacuzzi in your room.

The View, the incredible caring and talented chef keep me coming back again and again. Last night Chef outdid himself with a 7 course meal that took my breath away. Brilliant combinations, brave flavors blended to perfection and absolutely perfect cooked meat and seafood. I am a fan forever as this courageous chef keeps getting better. Favorite part of the meal: Kale and Brussel Sprout Salad. Amazing!

Great stay! Beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean and cozy! My one and only little complaint was our bathroom didn't have an fan for the steam to go out. Besides that everything was awesome. This was our view from our balcony. We had the coastal view which is the side of the Hotel.
