Sea World of Texas Review

Jus awesome! I highly recommend anyone to go see christmas lights and shows in the park. I took my daughter for the first time and she had the biggest smile on her face that I love to see. They did an awesome job.

My entire family has been going to SeaWorld for years. I was happy to be able to start taking my daughter once she was born. It is a great place to learn about and appreciate marine life. The rides are fantastic and Aquatica is awesome.

Great place for family vacation. Lines for rides were short when we went. GET THE MEAL PASS you pay 25 per person and eat as much as you want the entire day. It pays for itself. Lots of shows with the animals throughout the day. You can also swim with the dolphins and a few other of the animals. Neat experience.

A nice place to visit with family. Many rides and activities for kids around 3.

I love by this place yeah, seasonal pass for kids and I to aquatica for a nice summer dip in their pools. Look at their prices. If you can t or left be near by ....next

Not a bad park. Good rides. Crowd was not bad at all.

Fun for anyone of any age. A must see in the San Antonio area! You can bring in some snacks and drinks but just make sure you "don't trash where you splash!!"

The grounds are kept very clean. Staff is friendly, helpful, and plentiful. You can purchase a souvenir cup and get refills all day for free.

Offered an excellent discount to the graduates of Lackland Air Force Base! Very clean, great shows

Not as good as aquatica but I love the shows and Journey to Atlantis

The theme park was filled with many exciting adventure but they seemed to run out of turkey legs very quickly and didn't replace them after a certian time but overall we had an awesome time.

Good place to spend time with your family. Prices are questionable.

This was the worst park experience I've ever had in my life I don't pay for my family to not see any shows because everything was closed, no orca show, no dolphins, no belugas, most of the food stands were closed, the alligator show had so much talking that we ended up leaving because I don't want to stand for half an hour of talking instead of feeding the Gators. This park is an absolute disgrace and I'm never ever going back!

We definitely had A-blast as a family here. But just be sure if you buy all Day dining deals With the 3 day flex ticket. That you did in fact get in the 3 day two part flex ticket with ALL DAY DINING. Once you have entered the gate and tried to get your all day dining deal Wrist band but realize there was a mix up and somehow they didn't put you down for all day dining. Then they will not refund you your tickets but instead charge you individual full price all day dining passes. Because you have already entered the gate even if it was only for two minutes. I ended up paying an extra $400 for my family of 8 for only 2 days of all day dining. Probably not worth it but didn't want my family hunting me down or having to wait for me everytime they get hungry. My family had a good time I just feel I may have overpaid or been overcharged for something I dont feel was my fault.

Only 4 major rides, alligators never moved, friendly staff. Shows had good energy.

Great experience. Yet was busy baby. Defined no need to reserve. They are pretty much back to full capacity.

There is nothing there right now. No dolphins, no aquarium and limited shows. Honestly, it's a waste if money. If anyone is planning to visit, call ask them what's available and then go. The aquarium was the one thing worth paying for but now, it's been closed for over a year citing remodelation

Kids had fun. Sea world will always be fun for us.

The park is beautiful. We spent most of our time with the dolphins. The trainers were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and were very honest and you could tell that they really loved the dolphins and their passion showed through.

Overall, this place is a must to go to with family and kids. The shows are amazing. The ones that you must not miss are Pets Ahoy, Shamu's night, Sea Lion Tonite and Oceans Discovery - Aquatica is a fun water park but not as extensive as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, but since Texas weather is so hot, it is a blessing to have it right in the park. The food choices are ok since they do not have any brand franchise within the park like Subway or other fast food, however, you do get most of standard fast food.

My children had a blast despite being really hot , they really enjoyed the Aquatica swimming area, and especially the shows. Thank God we got season passes so they could enjoy it all year long

Place is really good, you need to remember your car place . Bathrooms need more attention

It's a great place for younger kids with the splash pad and shows.

Sea World was awesome. This was my family's 1st visit and we loved every bit of it. I would suggest getting to the park early to escape the crowds for the most part of the day.

We enjoyed all entertainment and rides, the kids especially enjoyed themselves.

Had a good time. Ride operators were less than enthused to be there. Souvenir clerks weren't knowledgeable at all, but they're just $8/hour kids, so it is what it is. All amusement parks do it, but prices are an absolute rip off. $35 for a super thin, lightweight shirt, made in Cambodia, that is already coming apart? $20 for a cheap picture on a ride? I promise you you could make MUCH more profit if you sold those $.80 pictures for $5 instead of $20.

Shows were great.
$60 parking for 3 days is ridiculous too. We elected to not go a 4th day because of parking prices. Management should take an Economics 101 class.

came out of seaworld to find someone attempted to steal our vehicle out of the parking lot which was parked 10 spaces away from a stand that was suppose to have a security guard in it. contacted sapd, the officer said they average 20 car thefts a month at seaworld alone, the thiefs are targeting Chevrolet vehicles. 200 miles away from home & vehicle would not start due to the thugs breaking the ignition switch, contacted seaworld customer service as well as security. they all seemed like it was normal & they could care less about my family or how we was going to get home. i asked for a refund, which all they did for is was gave me a phone number to call to request a refumd, since we bought tickets for the park & aquatica for the whole weekend, however due to the vehicle being vandalized & inoperable we spent the next day dealing with a&a locksmith who raped us for $360 to fix the ignition switch so our family could make it home. how do you have a million dollar business but not 1 security camera covering the 7000 parking spots of its high paying customers, its pretty apparent their is a big issue with car thefts out of their parking lot or its a inside job, so why havent they done anything?

Loved the stingray falls water slide in aquatica...otherwise just your average waterpark. Sea World shows are awesome once, maybe twice, then done. Good couple of days...3 tops.

They recently opened the sea turtle area. very nice to able to walk by and see the tank without going inside. it has a nice size viewing window.

So much fun really hot and expensive but in the night it's amazing

Opening Saturday and their process is much better than Orlando. Only about 40-50% of park attendants are not adhering to the rule as the Orlando parks are about 65-90%. I saw cast members asking people to put on their masks! Way to go Seaworld San Antonio!

Little pricey but we had fun. Got the platinum passes which was nice.

The shark and dolphin aquarium exhibits were very nice. You can get a great close-up experience. The actual shows were also very good, and educating, but they seemed a bit short. We were about 10 minutes late to two shows due to being at other exhibits, and we felt like we missed a good portion of the shows. The park should add more shady areas and more places to sit down in between doing things. There is a water park, however, so bring your swimsuits!

Wow what fun. Ignore the protesters and go for a splash. Excellent full family fun. Pricey though.

Amazing staff, accommodating of diabetics at food stands with carb info and special orders

They keep big whales in TINY tanks. Extremely overpriced. Staff is extremely rude.

Great place to take the kids, love all the marine life. Great shows, check out the Otter shows they are always Top-Notch

Love it. Lots of rides, and unlimited rides after you get in.
Lots of different animals. Highly recommend "Pets Ahoy" if you have young kids.

Amazing memories are made here. My kids loved it, my wife loved it, I loved it. What's not to love? Ok, the penguin exhibit is pretty smelly, that's the only part we didn't like. The shows are so fun! We sat in the splash zones to try and get wet but I guess they were taking it easy the days we were there because we left dry. We bought the refillable souvenir cups so we could have as many sodas or icees as we wanted.

It was great just hot. My daughter had the time of her life

Bag policy for rides and non rider rules are a little rough, but it's fun!

Loved it, but it was way too hot outside, albeit, I came at the beginning and left at 2:00, then came back at 6:30ish.

Words can t describe how much fun we had. We purchase the experience which lasted 8 hours and included lunch. It was truly the best option if you want to see the behind the scenes action and interact solo with the animals. We did swim with dolphins which was super fun!

This place is only. The BOMB!!! For family fun and adventure, there is none higher. There's only 3 of these in the US, and San Antonio is one of them!!! Highly recommended!!!

gets really packed watch your kids easy to lose sight.. get to the shows early they start letting people in 30min before the show to grab seats.. foods expensive I paid $50 for 3 Souvenir cups with free refills all day and 2 bags of popcorn.. and $40 for 4 pieces of pizza. it goes to a good cause. I'd go back for sure

Good shows and animal attractions, saw whale, dolphin and sea lion shows. Rides were ok, not as good as other amusement parks... Lots of walking between rides and exhibits, park covers a lot of area and everything is spread out all over the place. Staff was friendly and helpful with answering questions and directions. Parking was almost the price of another ticket, would have been better to get a shuttle from the hotel or an Uber.

Sea World its self was great but their ticket salespeople lack knowledge. We had a free teacher pass and pre school pass for my self and my son... the lady upgraded our passes to include the water park as well and she sold my husband an unli,ited pass for both seaworld and the water park...evidently she didnt scan the card right because when we went to the water park the next day my husband's card did not work... since it was the next day we did not stil have our receipt. They called the dumb girl over to see if she remembered us and she said noooo I see 100's of people a day. So the scatter brained girl who can't do her job right made us lose some serious cash. Of course the management didn't believe my husband so even though my son and I have a free pass and me being a teacher with a free pass every year I WILL NOT ever go there again. Thanks for ruining our summer vacation sea world... I suggest you train your ticket salesman better so they don't ruin any more vacations.

Amazing place with even more amazing marine animals! But the pizza buffet we paid $120.00 for 6 people was the worst pizza i have EVER had in my 32 years of life! Waste of money because the pizza was HORRIBLE. But the place is AWESOME!!! PLEASE Seaworld fix the food in your park!!!

As soon as you walk in the gate, you become a kid! Fun fun and fun! A lot to see and enjoy. A lot of shows to see. Parking is terrible so go early if you don't want to pay an extra $6 for upgrade! When you go aroun 10 AM , there is a lot of parking slots close to the gate and enough time to enjoy all the rides and water parks . All day dining tickets are good if you are a big eater but a waste of money if you will eat once . Free refills souvenir bottle are worthy but if you have the dining bracelet, no need to buy the bottle again because you get free drinks with each meal you get every 1 hour.

This place is great. My children had fun they're just older and would rather ride rides.

It was ok. Visited for the Hall-o-scream for Halloween. Didn't really get to enjoy myself bc lines were incredibly too long. Then they wanted you to pay an extra 25-65 dollars for a fast past to skip the lines, only for those to be incredibly long as well. It was my 2nd year back, but I will wait a few years for my next visit.

Sea World is a great place to take the grandchildren for fun year round

Even with COVID restrictions still very enjoyable The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of you.

Was a nice place to visit but didn't get to see all of it

We wasted an hour trying to redeem their Groupon. Their guest services and gate services kept bouncing us back and forth. The manager kept disappearing for a long time. No apologies, nothing but the run around. Never doing that again. If I had my way our family will never go to Sea world again. The dolphins we're nice tho. If only the people were.

I have a season pass here, great place to see the kids, has quite a bit to offer in the way of shade and inside shows and exhibits for the kids. Food is obviously overpriced and there is not a ton to choose from. Bring your own they don't seem to care

Great place if you don't mind the weather. Perfect destination for winter/spring months. People are very friendly

Hardly any rides. The shows are depressing and the information they provide is incorrect. Killer Whales fins do not flip over in the wild, it is caused from captivity. The whales are huge and have hardly any room to swim. In the wild they swim miles and miles a day. Depressing. There are plenty of other theme parks.

I love this place, my family and I got season passes this summer and I'm amazed. I really love the shows they have and the pools aren't so bad. Only thing I do not like and is the reason why I don't go as often is because after a good swimming or going on games you get hungry but here ... There's no actual GOOD food place to go to! The pizza is not even kept in a good place they just give it to you as is. It's all dry and hard. Also, I think the pizza is $7 for a very little pizza ??? And it's not even good ?? Thais sucks! They need better food options.

Went to see the Christmas light display and they wanted to charge me $37 a per plus $25 parking just for 1 hour. Save your money and go some place else.

Sea world has more shows..but AQUATICA have more water plays nd rides..Our children liked AQUATICA..

Fun place but it's like a cell phone application that warns you about "in application purchases" except Sea World doesnt disclose that! Still a fun an exciting place to vacation!!!

It was hot and packed to the gills. Don't go on a holiday unless you like crowds.

SeaWorld so very disappointed that money and greed is more important than human and animal life. I wish I would have known as a child what I know now. I would have never stepped foot on SeaWorld property. I am grateful I know now. Beautiful place it's nice to see all this marine life in person. Great roller coasters although would like to see another one come by. Aquatica was the bomb tho.

LOVE this place! it's a shame activist are changing the way you help preserve the wildlife ans species of animals.

The best experience! So fun & entertaining for my family. I really recommend the season pass, just to have fun when you want.
