Very fun. A great hour or so excursion near and under the water.
Went there with my in-laws and they totally loved the experience
This is a fun place to take the kids to while at MoA. I really think that it is over priced for how long the experience is. The tunnel area is really cool though. It can get crowded on the weekends/evenings. I would try to go during a non busy time if possible
I am an avid fan of aquariums and Sea Life at MOA did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, there was a ton to see (despite my original skepticism of it being in a mall), and I can only imagine how much fun kids would have here based on the fun that I had!
We had so much fun taking our 22 month old here for her first time at am aquarium! She loved how close all the seas life was to her and she could touch certain things. There was no rush on how long to spend time in there so you can quickly go through there or stroll along and take your time.
Didn't expect to have as much fun as i did being that I'm an adult. Well worth the 25 bucks.
I go every year I go to the aquarium. Love it there, good people who really want to help these creatures.
Awesome. Loved it. Mahalo from the two Big Island wahines.
This is definitely a unique experience - love the sea horses, jellyfish, tunnel. But the employees are not super helpful, signage is sorely lacking (hard to know where to go at the beginning), and the price of admission is outrageous and I'm sure cost prohibitive for many.
Been here several times with family. Beautiful place!
So much fun! The underwater tunnel was absolutely amazing! The sea life swimming right over your head! The entire family enjoyed visiting here, and the gift shop at the very end was a neat end to a fun experience. Highly recomend!
We've been to the aquarium twice on two separate visits to Minnesota. Both times have been enjoyable. The underwater tube is neat, and the ability to touch aquatic life is unique. But, absolutely nothing has changed in the several years between our two visits. There were no new or different displays. Some displays also leave very little room for the animals. And, the price is a little outrageous; nearly $100 for our family to enter, and they don't hesitate to try to sell you on "extras". Strangely, both times we went they never took our ticket after purchasing. We could have just as easily walked in without paying.
We were looking for an activity at MOA to spend a couple hours. We were a little concerned with the reviews that said you could complete the aquarium in less than 45 minutes. While I'm sure that is possible, we were impressed by the quality of the collection. Don't rush through it and you will have a good time.
Expensive...but had good family time. Food prices also were higher than expected throughout the mall!
Very good but also extremely expensive not big enough to pay $66 dollars for 2 adults and two kids. A LITTLE SECRET IF YOU HAVE A MINNEASOTA ID YOU PAY $66 dollars OTHER WISE YOU PAY $99 DOLLARS for 4 tickets. 2 kids two adults.
Just wonderful! My sister enjoyed it very much too!
We had an excellent times today visiting Sealife. Be sure to take the behind the scenes tour! And if you can, get Phil. He does an amazing job of informing, answering questions, and keeping it fun and friendly.
Absolutely wonderful a great time and worth the money
The animals looked sad, all the big turtles were stuck in odd places. All the sting rays looked healthy except one that had most of its fins bitten off. Honestly way over priced for the condition of everything and all animals.
Never actually went but wanna get some head while down there by ourselves maybe one day me n my future girl
Not the most interesting place, but perfect for family and kids.
Sea Life is an amazing place to visit. If you only have time for one attraction, this is the one to see. Kids LOVE it.
Went here for the first time in decades last week. Our 6 month old infant was really into it. A but pricey, but since we had a group we decided to get one season pass, and then got half off pricing for everyone else, so it paid for itself. And it'll be fun to keep going back over the next year. Amazingly not completely packed on the Sunday morning before Christmas.
It is amazing, it's fun to see sea life so close up. And there is stuff for every age, and there is lots of good information to learn while visiting this part of the mall.
Good place to look at a lot of fish and learn about them
Good aquarium. I love the tube area with the fish above your head. However it's expensive and usually crowded
It's no Sea World, but with Minnesota winters this is pretty impressive all-indoor.
That was really a fun experience I truly truly enjoyed it
Amazing place to go, especially if coming from out of state.
Very small . The admission is too much for what they give you
Great. It's a little short, but still very fun for the little ones.
It's expensive and not large, but the tunnels are super cool!
it's worth it to get the season pass for the price. You see something different every time you go and the aquarium is calming. I would avoid going during peak hours as it gets pretty crowded with children.
My kids absolutely loved this place. We also purchased the backstage passes to see what goes on behind the scenes. It was awesome being able to go above the tanks and get a view not too many have seen. The touch tank is probably my kids favorite thing. We could spend all day there
A really cool rainforest and amazing tunnel aquarium with some creepy close-ups of sharks and more. Pretty exit of stingrays gliding around a large, shallow pool
It's pricey but a great experience to have with your kids or if you are someone who's interested in water life
Did a behind the scenes tour with Phil. So much fun! We had a blast!
Amazing place! Really cool to see all the neat fish!
Loved getting to see the mermaids! Hope they do it again
The aquarium is clean and the fish seem happy. The staff is Friendly. The handicap and stroller access points are very nice and clear to understand.
This was our favorite. Very kid friendly. Everyone loved the tunnel.
It was a great experience. If you have the money and time, do the behind the scenes tour. We learned a lot about the aquatic life and what they do to protect them.
Love love loved it and will be going again for sure. Did the behind the scenes tour and it was money well worth spent.
My husband and I traveled to Mall of America and were pleasantly surprised to find the Sea Life Aquarium. We both love watching and learning about animals (especially sea creatures!). We loved petting the sting rays and seeing the variety of other animals. We thoroughly enjoyed the backstage tour, even for the extra cost! Phil was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions. We will definitely visit again in the future.
It's all right, and gives a lot of good educational content for kids, but the 7 usd payment for kids materials fell short of my expectation. Apart from a walking ranger activity, it doesnt give much room for the kids to relish the deep sea experience.
Dont go on the weekends, super busy. Other then that it was awesome. My 7 month old loved it. You arnt rushed through. Behind the scenes tour was interesting but more for older kids.
Lots of interesting things to see, reasonably priced gift shop, and a touch tank for the kiddos
Cool place to spend some time when you like to view sea animals, alligators, turtles and cool tanks. Staff has knowledge and kindness to help through the visit. Fun and entertaining!
It s a fairly small aquarium, but if you are looking for a break from the insanity that is the MOA, it is a great place to go and unwind.
Fun place - a little pricey that's why the 4 star rating.
