Sea Galley Review

Had Valentine's dinner all set up and even though the waitress was very nice the meal was not...the prime rib that I order as medium came as rear and when I set it back it still came back undercooked... the salmon that the misses ordered came slimy and cold. When it went back it still came back under cooked. You are a high class seafood restaurant that should know how seafood should be cooked. It should never go to a table still slimy... finally the shrimp cocktail was also undercooked and unfortunately it really ruined my whole Valentine's dinner that o tryed to make special for my lady... usually when it's this bad they should have comped the salmon bit never offered anything..

My husband, granddaughter and I went for dinner at 4:30 on a Saturday and it was very busy. The outside of the building needs some attention and the inside needs some cleaning and updating. The service was awesome and the food was AMAZING!! Beats Red Lobster hands down!! Will be back, just wondering why the owners wouldn't take better care of the place!

Amazing, as always!! Did not like their clam strips (huge and more like baked than fried), but all in all, it was clean, very nice employees and one of our favorite go tos!! We were very sad when they closed ours in Tri-Cities so many years ago.

I'd give ten stars if I could. Maybe my favorite place on the planet. The maritime feel is more than warming. I absolutely love this place every time, no complaints, I can't wait to go again soon. Best restaurant in the world in my opinion! It's a shame they close at night because I'd live there if I could.

Went to dinner here while I was in town due to a recommendation and I was overly impressed with their service and food great way to end my visit in Yakima!

The waiter was fabulous tonight however the food was just mediocre

Fish very good but my wife had a poor steak. Either need a sharper knife or more tender meat.

Nothing special for what seems like a chain restaurant. Nice servers, interesting decor, easy for travelers and families. Over priced for Yakima.

This has to be the best restaurant in town, great food and drinks.

Food and drinks were amazing as always and our waitress was great.

Service and food were great. The place was a little too dark. The fish and chips didn't come with chips unless you wanted the fries as your side.

Had a awesome Prime Rib Dinner and the Waiter was awesome

Horrible service. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks and 1 was wrong. Took 45 minutes to tell us the appetizer we ordered was out of stock, and the steak was so full of grizzle it was inedible.

Better than I remembered! Will definitely make this a regular stop on way through Yaki-Vegas

The service at the bar was not all that good, like the other comments say... I had a drink and an appetizer and then was left not and checked on. I was going to order prim rib... But after a long wait I decided to pay the tab and leave instead of waiting for more bad service. The appetizer--stuffed mushrooms--was great!

Food wasn't very good was expensive service was not good

The prime rib was awesome and the server has been there 7 years and knows how to make it entertaining tx for a great meal

Tasty New York Strip and Lobster. Blackened fish tacos were good but could have used a little crema. Prime Rib was very good in an old school kind of way. Decor and menu is stuck in the 70's-80's. But, everything was cooked perfectly and the service was wonderful.

Worst food in town. Even with a half off coupon it still wasn't worth it.

Sad. I first went here almost 40 years ago. It looks the same. Food was blah. Service was not great. I had a water to drink and not once was it refilled. This place has lost its appeal

Crab stuffed mushrooms no crab. Fish tacos? I make better in my back yard. Big beers though...

Service staffs are very racism.and without greeting.

The Sea Galley has such a beautiful atmosphere and the salad bar is delicious. We had a group lunch there and the waitress did an excellent job and was so nice. Food was delicious.

Fish was inconscientant cooked. Disable stall in men room was missing door. Service was just O.k. Overall cleanness was poor.

It was Wonderful just like we always remembered it, 20 some years ago.

Love this place and eat here as much as possible. Great staff great food what more can you ask for.

Food was over priced and not very good. Nothing new there, always has been.

We love this place, always come here in especial occasions, bring family or friends from out of town, this is really a nice place in Union Gap to be proud of.

Salad bar is amazing! Great place,its quiet and relaxing. The food is good, service is hit or miss but all in all it's a good place to go.

Our waiter was great! The salad bar was decent, but the chowder was not good. It tasted of uncooked flour used to thicken it, and had very little flavor, but was sweet, not good. The steak soup also lacking in a rich broth flavor, bland.

Food was good- I had the fish wrap and enjoyed it with- coleslaw. Wait staff was slow to non existent in refilling my coffee.

My family loved the themed restaurant. The kids loved playing I Spy for pirate things. The food was pretty good and service was excellent.

We used to have a seagalley in Bellingham and I really miss it

Had dinner good fish,slow service in bar only one working and it was over half full,forgot drinks and take order. The manager sitting at bar and did not help, wreck or night out

Love Sea Galley!! So sad Spokane's location closed!!! It's a 200 mile trip for us now! Any chance of a location coming back to Spokane?

When the food eventually comes it is very good. The salad bar is great. The restrooms need updating and the staff isn't attentive even when there aren't many patrons. Best service is if you sit in the bar. There is great happy hour half priced apps.

We have been going here for years. 10+years. I have to say that tonight was the first time that I was disappointed. There was hardly anyone there and had several employees greet us at the door. I had made reservations for 7 of us a week in advance. Our waitress was polite but kept forgetting things we would ask for and one our party members didn't get his dinner until the rest of us were almost through with ours. Sad to say but the place will probably lose my business after this experience.

Salmon was good but the shrimp had freezer burn. No free bread sticks. The platter appetizers had buffalo wings and they were dry. Side salad looked sad like there were some shortage of lettuce. Had a margarita and I don't think there was alcohol in it.

Actually NO stars ! Went in bar to have a quick bite. Couldnt catch thier eye. A big party of 6 or 8 came in about 10 min after us. Sitting in the corner behind us. The bartender walked right next to me and proceeded to take their order. Got up and walked out. 2 very poor waitresses. I hope the manager handles this appropriately. Service in Yakima is horrible maybe I will secret shop again to see if it improves. Did I mention they weren't busy

The waiter didn't even know the menu options or special for the night. The fried zucchini was not good.

Went here for my anniversary, we got there and were seated right away. I dont know if the place was hiddin or what but we got forgotten!! Waiters keept walking by there but never bother to say anything... 15min later as we were getting ready to leave a waitress notices we were there and asks have you been served?? Ofcourse not seems like we were forgotten here! I said. How long have you been waiting for??? She asked... 15min or more I said.. we were getting ready to leave!!! She never apologized for it or anything....worst service ever... did notice seagally was short on people because their face book said they were hiring but then again there were like 4 waiters walking by us throughout the 15 min!!!

I m always satisfied with the food and service. What I didn t like was the men s restroom. The handicap stall doesn t even have a door on it. The 1st stall doesn t lock and the middle stall locks but the toilet seat is falling off. The bathroom is in very poor condition! Needs attention ASAP!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Sat in the bar, ate an amazing dinner (baked salmon!) And had a great time

My family enjoyed our food and staff where very friendly. We had service with a smile the entire time.

Went to the restaurant last night. Think I've been there 3 or 4 times in the last 12 years. Toggled between here and Olive Garden.

Pleasantly surprised.! What a great dining experience other than the uncomfortable chairs. Food was stellar! Had to ask for drinks to be refilled, which is a pet peave of mine but the other service was above expectation. Prime rib was awesome! Very impressed with the experience. I'll certainly return.

I ve been going to the Union Gap SeaGalley for years. I ve had great dinners and happy hour food and drinks. Unfortunately, yesterday s prime rib dinner was terrible. Everything from the almost non existent salad to the prime rib and baked potato. I should have sent all of it back. Instead I did eat the food, and I did let the staff know I was unhappy. The response from the manager was fairly unapologetic. To top off the evening, I was sick most of the night with stomach cramps. Spent much of the night in the bathroom. I m fine today. The food has left my body.

Good food and great service. Had the surf and Turf. Well cooked and seasoned. Anthony was terrific.

Didn't have what I wanted. But my server went the extra mile to help me anyway.

Always great food and a wait person to smile. Teamwork between wait staff. You didn't have to wait for your waiter if you wanted a refill.
