Had the chicken neptune,about 5 hours later I threw up for 2 hours ,It was a nightmare,2nd visit will be the last,food tasted fine but it was not fine,as a chef I haven't had this happen for over 20 years.
Salad bar is always nice, seafood always fresh, and dessert is always way bigger than you expect! Serving and management staff were aware and yet compassionate of my tremors and didn't mind.
Food was good. Just verry expensive. Wait staff was just ok.
I'd say this place is more of a 3.5 stars.
Nothing really overly remarkable or unsatisfying. Nothing horrible but also nothing excellent.
Great Atmosphere and Wonderful Food
Of course, they have crab legs and other perfectly prepared sea food delicious dishes, but they have great, affordable meals for every taste -- and a nautical theme for those special dinners. Service is grand and attentive. The shipwreck lounge makes you feel you're at sea. ARRGH, me hearties.

Had a great dinner last night, we had the prime rib and prawns and steak and shrimp. The prime rib and steak were very tender and tasty. Angel was our waitress she was fantastic she had a great personality and was helpful, looking forward to coming back and seeing her soon.

If you want to step onto a fishing boat without ever going to the water. Go here! There food is excellent, and the atmosphere will take you on a vacation. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Food was nothing special at all and really lacked for the price but was edible. Service for being slow was horrible to busy with the local regulars to serve a couple of walk in customers. The front counter where it asked you to wait to be seated was unstaffed and after waiting 5 mins gave up and just sat in the bar area would not go back again

I was in Yakima on business and looking for a place that was open late with decent food. Sea Galley didn't disappoint. It was very good, conveniently located, and reasonably priced.
Food was okay service was good however it took a long time to get a orders in the waiter was overworked it took almost 15 minutes just to get someone to the desk to check this out.
Best steak & Seafood in E WA......had prime rib & lobster. ...yum....older building, but food & service excellent. ....wine list a little lacking but maybe I'm a bit picky.

Fast attentive service, friendly staff. Hands down best seafood in town. Honey Salmon was cooked right with great flavors. Dungeness crab was delicious. Nautical theme in the dining area delivers you to a ships galley and the bar has a miner town genre. Great spot to watch the game and eat one of their homemade deserts. Crazy big fried mozzarella sticks that are guaranteed to be the best you've had. I will definitely make this my go to restaurant when in Yakima.

My wife and I really like Sea Galley. The food is excellent, salad bar well above par and the service is excellent. I give 3 stars based on ambiance of which of which there is little. We have frequented this restaurant for over 25 years and I swear the carpet is still same today as it was on our first visit. As for the rest of the physical building it could stand some freshening up. If you go (and I do recommend it)mhmm just enjoy the excellent food and service. They almost make for the facility. Oh yes the bar is well stocked, which also helps.
Fish was delicious, beer was cold. Nice ambiance booths set up to give you a feeling of intimacy. Served by Manny, good job.

Terrific food and service. Restaurant needs a really good cleaning as it does smell inside. Carpets need to be removed and new installed. And interior pressure cleaned.

Order prime rib and asked for it to be medium done, sent it back and still wasn't cooked the way I wanted. Server apologized, so I don't blame her, just the cook for not following a simple request.
Their food was not very good. The fish and chips was $26 and was mainly breading with little fish.
Excellent service and food. Prompt food preparation. The waitress laughed at my jokes and told us one that her father told her.
All in all we had a pleasant experience.
Came from out of town, waited 5 minutes for a seat for 3 people and the hostess just stood there talking to what looked like his friends. Didn't even make eye contact or acknowledge us or say anything that he will be right with us. The place was nowhere busy, So we sat ourselves down only to have 2 or 3 waiters/ waitresses pass us by without any acknowledgement. We left shortly afterwards and went to Panera Bread across the street. Horrible first impression to a rather beautiful city.
I'm sure the food is great if your lucky to even be seated.

I don t know where to start. Our phone placed order came with fried shrimp not shrimp tempura. The salad is pitiful of course. I didn t think to look telI got home. My wife is pregnant and has been wanting this all week and it s wrong. Thanks Sea Galley.
Their service was less than good I ordered water with no ice and coffee the water came with ice and I waited until I was almost done with my meal to get my first cup of coffee it was ordered at the time we ordered drinks no one ever offered to refill it we both ordered all-you-can-eat salad bar with our meals and they only asked once if we wanted more breadsticks and that was after they've been gone for over a half an hour the bread on my sandwich was stale and stay have two different menus on lunch menu and a dinner menu but they don't tell you that after three the salad bar goes up nothing changes in the salad bar but the price goes up from 12.99 to 16.99. The salad bar was fresh the clam chowder was good but like I said the service wasn't very good but the atmosphere was nice.

They staff was gathered around the reception desk. No one took the time to greet us. I had to walk up and wait for them to acknowledge us. The decor is old and out of date and dingy to the point of wondering if its clean or not. The waiter was very good. He was attentive and helpful. Food was ok. Nothing to be excited about. Potato was almost cold and lack luster. I expected better for the prices. When were were on our way out, 4 people staying around the reception desk. I said Thank you and no one acknowledge me at all. Sad. Will not be returning anytime soon.
You will not be disappointed in this choice. The food is great. Very clean place. But we had the best service/waitress we have ever come across... Amanda AKA Zoltan is the bomb. And we travel a lot all over the world and eat out on a regular basis. So we know and appreciate the excellent service.

Good ok although pricey, not like some years ago. Most disappointing was that salad bar no longer included with meals, an extra $6 with a meal or $8.50 with appetizer send not all that special to boot..was actually what I went for. Again all and mains pricy.

Sea Galley is a great place to enjoy good seafood and unlimited salad bar. I have enjoyed this restaurant for over 25 years. The menu is a bit smaller than it used to be. The inside is due for an update. I enjoy the fact that the menu is still affordable. My last meal there was excellent. Try the fish tacos!
Always impressed with this place. Even when the wait staff messes up an order, they really do make up for it. I know, it was was a super busy and probably didn't help. Great job.
I've always have a wonderful time here. The choices of dinners and desserts are always amazingly good. The staffs here are always friendly and willing to go above and beyond. I highly recommend this place.
