This engineering company is run by a former president and CEO of various insurance companies, is it a surprise that this is the go to firm for most major carriers, for their biased reports, they all read exactly the same. Its a shame that this has been allowed to go on so long and so many homeowners in the state have been denied claims because of this unethical company.

Had them for my sinkhole claim with Tower Hill Ins . They have been here 3 times in 9 yrs . I now hired an attorney for the 4th repair . The man from the new attorney referred sinkhole repair company was here yesterday . He told me just what I thought, that they work for the ins company and they minimize everything to save the Ins Co money so that they have plenty of work from the ins co's .If they show up at your property stop the job and kick them off your property and get another engineering firm .
The report provided to my insurance company was not accurate when it came to several items. Will be getting an Engineer with credentials to provide one.
This place is bad news from the top down. There are other companies in the area that can and will provide better and more professional services. SDII really shouldn't be in business. I was told an Engineer would be onsite during the testing and remediation processes. NOT the case. They sent out "Field techs" to gather the information and to oversee the repairs. I guess their Engineers don't leave the office. Is this even legal? If I go to the Doctor, I don't want to be advised by the janitor.
Was surprised that the lowest star was a '1'. I think this company only provides services to the insurance companies? Their assessments align with insurance company's needs of not documenting claims properly. The inspection at my residence purposely documented areas of concern that had nothing to do with the claim and neglected to document issues directly related to the claim (i.e. look over here... not where the real issue is). Also, their 'professional opinions' were not in-line (or verified to be factual)... actual site conditions show otherwise. In summary, SDII-Global takes photos of irrelevant issues, doesn't document the real issues and reports to insurance company that all is OK. Also, company made comments about dampness and color of wood... SDII-Global is not licensed in state of Florida for Mold assessment. I will be escalating complaints to State of Florida for negligence and possible collusion with insurance company. Be wary of this company and have an independent observer watch what they do... they physically pulled a tile from my roof and claim that it was already loose (a previous inspector identified that tile as not being loose).... magic... look over here... not where the real issue is. :-) Note: these are my opinions and observations after reviewing their published report and seeking feedback from my independent observer... these statements appear to align with other's feedback and experiences. Feed back should not be considered disparagement of SDII-Global, just observations at face value to share with this community.
They are totally bias. I had major damage to my house from hurricane Michael. The report they drew up for Tower Hill Insurance Company stated that the damage to my house was not storm related.
Sdii engineer zbigniew Szewczyk came out to my house to do an inspection for the insurance company I had Ho-3 insurance policy on my new home they work for Geico / security first.. they made a report that is totally inaccurate. 100% biased in favor of the insurance company. The report minimizes the damage to my home in hurricane Michael... I am totally disappointed by the truthfulness shown by this company.. so sad
