Stylish restaurant at the Designers Hotel. I was satisfied with the warm hospitality and delicious food.

A hotel that offers great space and high class service

Quirky rooms with friendly staff. Beds are huge and comfy. They take care of the luggage for you since the lifts don't go to the lobby for some reason.

The Screen has extremely high quality rooms and luxurious facilities. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. We really enjoyed our stay. It is 10 minutes walk to Kyoto city hall area where there are lots of shops and restaurants.

Right on the corner of Kyoto Gyoen. :) Gorgeous, spacious rooms with individual designs. :) Rooftop garden for sunset meals. :) Breakfast options of Japanese or western and free morning paper. Split level lounge with free Nespresso and tea. :) Friendly staff and limited guests so you feel like you own the place. :)

Dinner had 5 courses but the main was cold. :( The large screen, cable TV system isn't on-demand so you have to follow the guide to watch movies.

An exceptional boutique hotel with style, good food, and excellent service, in the middle of the artisan and fine arts shops of Teramachi Dori.

Very cool rooms! Sadly the restaurant or bar were not open which changed our plans a bit, but other than that it was a very enjoyable stay.

The staff was very helpful with letting us borrow umbrellas to helping set.uo cabs for us. The western breakfast was great. The room was spacious and clean. Giant beds. A+

Absolutely lovely hotel. Each room is unique and beautiful with deep spa bathtubs. Breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This hotel was amazing! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was modern and clean. I was super shocked at the size of it too. The beds and pillows we're soft and just fell in love. I would absolutely stay here again.

Kyoto was damaged by typhoon No.18. I was not able to go to the hotel of the Shiga who had made a reservation, and while there were a lot of troubles here in various ways here to be indebted here, to all the staff members, in response to our request Thank you very much for having a very enjoyable time. I could not see the sunset, but while watching the moon, I had a moment of bliss with glass wine ( ) the dinner was really delicious in a relaxed atmosphere. The service attitude of all the staff was very kind, warm and very happy. I would like to go back to Kyoto once I go to Kyoto. Thank you very much.

Great spot for site seeing around kyoto. Well connected including fast local bus service directly to sites east and west of the city. Rooms lather than many in Japan. Lovely terrace and free drinks served in the afternoon until sunset.

The Screen Hotel is a very beautiful hotel located in the suburbs of Kyoto. The rooms are very modern and very large. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that you have to take the bus or subway from here to the city centre of Kyoto. Apart from this, everything else is perfect.

There are two types of lunch courses, and the higher one is reserved.
Everything from one item appetizer to dessert was delicious
The staff at the end of the course carefully explained the dishes and were able to taste it deliciously.
I want to use it again

The building is very fashionable, but the lobby is a bit old-fashioned, so it would be great if it was renovated!

There is a concept in every room, and the nature of the event is great. The food is delicious, and the building is a designer, and you can enjoy an atmosphere that does not seem like Kyoto.

There is only French restaurant use, but it looks beautiful and delicious food can be happy by the end of the course.
A wedding party is also held, so it is possible to accommodate a large number of people.

This little botique hotel offers surprisingly lavish and impressive decor and amenities (only 14 rooms and a very fair pricing range in accommodation for such personal attention!) But for me the thing that stands out most, besides the excellent location, is the dedication of the staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

In comparison with some other hotels where we were met with automoton-like efficiency, these staff members projected truly caring and concerned interest. As an added bonus there are plenty of added ndulgences that one would not expect from so small an establishment - a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Thank you.

There are few rooms and it is quiet, but the water loss in the bathroom is a little bad.

Maybe just ordinary? At first tableware is not good enough.

Good food and good service.

It is a little expensive as a coffee shop, but it is quiet.

Hotel located in a quiet area of Kyoto (antique shops, tea vendors and other calligraphers ...) right in front of the imperial palace. The rooms are each arranged and decorated by a different designer ... Superb. The welcome and the service are perfect.
