I have been a patient at Scott arms dental practice for about 15 years and have always been happy with the treatment. I have seen various hygienists over the years and they have always been very professional, I have also had a dental implant done there which I am happy with and my family have had various treatments.
I moved house 3 years ago 35 miles away and still kept visiting Scott Arms and would travel 2 hours to get there in traffic and always arrived on time. However today I had an appointment with the hygienist Sameena Tasneem at 18.00 unfortunately due to heavy rush hour traffic and various road closures I arrived at Scott Arms 10 minutes late for my appointment only to be told she would not see me. When visiting the dentist on numerous occasions I have had to wait well past my appointment time before I have been seen and have never minded this, so to be told just because I was 10 minutes late she would not see me and she would also keep my deposit of £20 I could not believe it. I am 64 years old and disabled and I had driven 35 miles so I was most upset about this. Bearing in mind a hygienist appointment is usually about half an hour long I would have been happy if she could have just given me a 20 minute appointment but she didn't offer.
I am sorry to say that this will be the last time me and my family will visit Scott Arms dental practice and will be using another dental practice in future and I will not be recommending them to anyone else
