From the moment I stepped in the office as new patient (in pain, serious swelling and totally freaked out about a root canal gone bad and few other serious problems needing emergency surgery) the profesional staff made me feel totally comfortable and lessen my fears.
Dr. Dimitrov Is the most caring profesional Dr I have ever met. His knowledge and full grasp on the matter made me feel confident he could get the job done and made me feel comfortable with the decision of entrusting such serious matter into his hands and expertise. I had never met him before until the day of surgery because this was an emergency matter that couldn t wait any longer. He took his time and explained every step of the process answered all my questions in a clear and straight forward manner, assured me he could get the job done with good expectations and made me feel he could be trusted. IV, sedation and surgery was incredibly comfortable and six hours later I have no pain, swelling is under control and hopefully I will heal quickly. Dr Dimitrov and staff deserve the highest rating for professionalism , bedside manners, caring attitude and total knowledge on the job!

I was referred to the Sclar Surgery to Dr Dimitrov by my dentist for Crown Lengthening. Firstly all the staff, from the admin staff, to the surgery assistants were very polite, kind, friendly and efficient, making me feel very comfortable, relaxed and confident about the procedure. My stepson had to have 2 wisdom teeth removed. Our family dentist referred us to Dr. Dimitrov. From the first telephone call to the last visit for the final check up, he and his staff were friendly, kind and professional. My stepson has special needs and we were worried and apprehensive. Dr. Dimitrov immediately put us at ease. The procedure went exactly as explained and my stepson woke up cheerfully groggy. His aftercare was easy to do and well explained. We even had direct contact information for Dr. Dimitrov in case of complications. In my experience, that is almost unheard of.

Dr Kroum is the best Dr to me here in Miami Florida. His charisma and the way he talks to you gives you the confidence that you need to get the surgery that you need. A month ago I needed to have a surgery for an implant.
Dr Dimitrow was highly recommend by my dentist from New York. I had my worries regarding the procedure, but after discussing the situation with him, I recognized that he was aware of my doubts and felt comfortable with proceeding.
I had my implant done, the anesthesia was well done, and my recovery went smoothly.

OMG!! This was my first time experiencing any type of oral surgery. I must say Dr. Dimitrov and staff made it feel like I was apart of a family. I went in feeling nervous. But after speaking to the Dr and his staff oh my goodness I felt like was smarter lol. I truly loved the care that was given to me during my oral surgery. Amazing!!

I went to two oral surgeons before I found Dr. Sclar, and I didn't feel as comfortable with the ones before him, but I knew I'd be taken care of with him. I had difficult wisdom teeth, one was impacted and the bottom two looked like they were close to my nerves on the x-rays, which increased my chance of numbness around my mouth after surgery. I wanted to make sure I had the best doctor for my surgery, and Dr. Sclar is the best!! If you have a similar situation, he's the one you want touching your mouth, trust me.

Surgery experience: Amazing. Let me just say that I'm terrified of all things medical-related, so I was absolutely freaking out the morning of. I didn't even realize the surgery was over! The aftermath was completely painless. Three hours after the surgery, I was totally fine and wanted to leave the house. I couldn't eat much solid food, but I NEVER experienced any pain. Didn't have to take even an Advil once. I had extremely minimal yellow bruises on one side of my face around my jaw area; it was hardly visible. I went to work three days later and nobody even noticed. And fortunately, Dr. Sclar was super careful and took his time with my surgery, so I have no long-term side effects. No numbness or anything! It was the best wisdom tooth removal experience, couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much Dr. Sclar!

Dr. Dimitrov took a thorough medical history himself. He took the time to be sure he knew my health situation before he diagnosed my condition. He recommended a plan to monitor it and put me at ease on whether it was an imminent concern. I would highly recommend him.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, at an older age (difficulty level was high - I had a cyst and needed bone graft and one was close to a nerve). I was very nervous going into this process, but the staff was so supportive and made me feel confident and comfortable. After coming to Dr. Kroum Dimitrov s office with infected failed implants from another place, Dr. Dimitrov did what he does best. The CT scan machine here is essential for analysis and diagnosis. Dr. Dimitrov has the skills to not just analyze your implant area, but also your sinus and jaw parameters taking in the whole picture of what affects,
and is needed, for successful implant placement.
Laser guided implant placement and top of the line implants assure the best possible outcome of everyone s efforts. Good quality implants and expertise cost money....don t shortchange yourself.

My initial impressions found that the staff and doctors are very professional. The office is a nice place to be aswell. I had my doubts about general anesthesia, but Dr. Dimitrov and I went over my options and I left feeling happy.

Dr. Dimitrov and his staff are incredible. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Dimitrov, and I had the pleasure of visiting his office three times during this process. Each time, the Doctor and his staff spent the appropriate amount of time with me, caring for me, and making sure ALL of my questions were answered. I know Dr. Dimitrov has probably taken out thousands of wisdom teeth (maybe even tens of thousands), and probably didn't need to spend 30-45 mins with me explaining how the procedure would go, but he and his staff did! They made sure I felt as comfortable as possible with this routine surgery. They probably explain this procedure dozens of times a month, but they did it competently and truly took pleasure in doing so. He and his staff speak perfect English and Spanish to accommodate for most of the patience here in Miami.
His office is not cluttered at all. It's clean with modern and up to date furniture, and felt very welcoming. But even after you leave his office, his staff will contact you (not spam you) to follow up with you, and answer any questions that you might have following an appointment.

I have been postponing to have this procedure because it had some risks, but my dentist Dr. Laurence Stein referred me to Dr. Sclar's practice and recommended Dr. Dimitrov in particular. Knowing Dr. Stein I was sure that if he recommended Sclar's office it was because they were the best for my case. When I arrived I found out Dr. Sclar was the author of the Oral Surgery text book that has been translated to many languages. It reassured me I was in good hands going there.
They exceeded my expectations!
Besides Dr. Dimitrov's excellent expertise on his job, his assistant Melissa and the office staff Yessi and Millie give an excellent service to patients as well. They took care of me and handled all the insurance procedures in an expedite way.

Dr. Sclar's office is a pleasure to visit. "A pleasure to visit" an oral surgeon you ask? I must admit that the very first time I visited a few years ago, I was a little anxious and concerned, mainly because the news that you need oral surgery is never something to feel "relaxed" about. Still, the feeling of calm and competence begins with the receptionist who is lovely and efficient. His assistants throughout the office are respectful, competent, knowledgeable, and make you feel completely at ease. They take their time to explain every little detail of what will go on and make you feel completely at ease as does Dr. Sclar.

I've had surgery with Dr. Sclar before and he and everyone who assisted him made me feel confident that this was a group of people who knew well what they were doing. I had absolutely no pain before, during and after surgery. There was no swelling, no "after or side effects" and mainly no drama.

Now, a few years later I need oral surgery again and today I went to his office with confidence and trust that everything would be fine - basically nothing to be anxious about. This new operation will be performed in the near future.

Dr. Sclar is a skilled physician surrounded by equally skilled professionals in patient care. I highly recommend his practice.

The people were incredibly friendly and efficient throughout my entire experience. Wait times were minimal, and everyone was highly attentive to my comfort and security. My wisdom tooth extraction was perfectly done and I have 0 complaints with the results. I love the fact that even after leaving the office, they texted to ensure everything was going well throughout the healing process.
