Scioto Downs Racino Review

I know they've been putting new carpet in the casino but I'm disappointed at the number of slot machines that continue to be out of service...and many having nothing to do with carpet installation. This has been going on for many weeks. With many other casinos in the state my allegiance to ESD is fading fast.

Very nice place by far my favorite place to go especially when im feeling lucky

Clean. Fun. Easy parking. Nice selection of games. Smoke free. Only down fall is that they do allow vaping so you still get to inhale poisonous fumes.

Great place to eat and play slot games for semi drivers. But the semi parking lot has turned into a drop trailer lot for local companies that takes almost all the parking away from paying semi customers. So sometimes you can come here to play the games no where to park. So you get lucky in the casino

Slots not very good today, never seen them so bad, probably not go back for several months

This is a nice place. There is a good selection of machines. The drinks were reasonably priced. Food was good at Brew Brothers. Plenty of hand sanitizer and people were not too close together. I would definitely recommend this place.

It is nice inside but the drinks and food are expensive. They have games they play for chances to win prizes.

This casino in my opinion has loosest slots than most they actually allow a fair mix of entertainment and a chance to win. Buffet is closed due to covid 19 but the steak house is top notch my favorite is black and blue burger I highly recommend this racino

Good food, slots that at least let you play without just taking your money with no action, and decent pours at the bar. Lack of table games leaves something to be desired....

Worst pay out odds I have ever seen might be the worst casino I've ever been to and I thought Hollywood was bad.. I understand there is winning and losing in a casino but all I have done in this place is lose lose lose it is amazing to me I've literally lost over $5000 in this casino in the past two months I can't believe it. The only way you can win is not go I think this place has brought me to reality now I know why people say casinos just suck all the money out of the city and state

I like the slot machines, I hit a couple of times,left with more than I put in, wasn't too busy, good time

Friendly staff, nice facility,good food,but...forget about ever really winning any money. The slots are on life support barely showing any signs of life. Advice ? Have fun in another way

Food great, safety is great, staff is wonderful, slot machines are terrible you waste a lot of money.

I had a great evening last night at Eldorado Scioto Downs. A live band was playing and sounded great!! Had cocktails and dinner with slots afterwards. FUN!!!

Casino was fun but the players club/cashier was extremely slow and understaffed.

Friendly staff, clean, fun place to visit. Love to see the horse races!

Only slots, no table games. Very nice and new, no smell of smoke like Vegas (except in the smoking room)

We came out for a night of celebration and fun. We certainly got just that. I have to say that this casino is strides better and more attractive than the casino on the westside. Try the restaurants because they are pretty awesome.

Been going here for a couple years at least once a week and don't get no promotions or nothing

Staff are friendly. Really clean. I lose more often than I win and never seem to have any big wins. Those always seem to go to those that play the highest bids.

Husband and I was on our way back to Birmingham, we decided to stop and check the place out. Had a great time. Will visit again when we are in town again

I had the fish & chips, my daughter had the pulled pork with fries. Both dishes were great. We both thought this place is worthy of a return visit.

Modern games would have got 5 stars but need table games.

They have lots of winning slot machines. I win a good deal almost every time I go.

Nice Casino didn't win but their Grove Buffet was a lot better this time. Food was really hood.

Two hours no food in the clubhouse. Waitress is disinterested in serving us. Management is not concerned with the horrible service. Would rate negative stars if possible. Will not return!

To whom It may concern,

I realize that some businesses practice Scent Marketing. This is when scents are added to the air to make people relax and want to stay longer therefore increasing revenue. I know Sciota Downs adds scent to the air but ever sense the new carpeting was installed the amount of scent seams to have increased. Today, when I entered the casino the scent was very strong. I was not there very long when I got a headache and had to leave. I am not usually sensitive to scents but it was a relief to get outside in the fresh air. Would it be possible to decrease the amount of scent that is being added to the air?

Crab legs were ok rest of the food was pretty ordinary...bathrooms reasonably clean.
