Something different, and in this case it is a very good thing.
Friendly staff, and alot of interesting stuff to see and interact with.
Everything about this place is super. If you're just in for a quick coffee or a meal the food is fantastic and service is great. There always seems to be a table to sit at even when it's busy. Very clean and bright with a really nice view out onto the street if you enjoy a bit of people watching.
The Gallery itself is always interesting and easy to navigate though. Plenty of rooms and interactive content to engage with (Depending on what exhibition is on)
Interesting exhibitions, great cafeteria with outstanding coffee, what more do you need in this world? :)
Great gallery that hosts an entertaining science exhibition. Entrance is free of charge. Must visit place whenever you are visiting Trinity College.
Interesting place. Like it a lot. Always something new going on
Holds unusual exhibitions and talks. Small shop with science toys and books. Nice modern cafe.
Great staff always something worth seeing in their exhibition!
Good coffee but the exhibition was a little underwhelming.
Good at times would prefer more child friendly tactile exhibits they need to interact to ever give a hoot.
Was OK. Looked like students science projects. (circuit boards and wires sticking out) students were on hand to explain exhibits in detail. some technical things not working, hight of some exhibits too high for 9 yr old couldn't see in.(health and safety couldn't get step, had to duck in and see it, in trying to assist 9 yr old, older child got nasty bang to head) Also he couldn't try on visual head set. (As no research as to how would effect kids eyes.)
Creative and exciting museum/gallery in the heart of Dublin. Really friendly and engaging staff, wide programme of events and completely free. Would recommend
It was a very modern and thoughtful place. Small but intense.
Great sport to come for regular visit on some rainy day. Their expositions are always changing and not only educating but entertaining too. I love location in the short proximity from the city centre....and glass look through decor of the building
Good cup of coffee and free access to look at continuously varying tech and science exhibitions.
Place to see and discover something new on a funny interested way
Great model for public education both for kicks and visitors. Makes the most of the space and has lots of helpful guides working.
Favourite spot in the city. The exhibition changes roughly every 2 months so there's always an opportunity to stop by and learn something new! The gift shop is also my go-to place for any occasion.
Beautiful exhibitions, always temporary, a really small place. There is a bar and a small bookshop.
A great place to visit for some additional education. Exhibits change every couple of months.
Also, Cloud picker coffee shop inside the gallery does an excellent coffee.
Very good for old and young people who are interested in science always changing so good for a revisit
Food and coffee are good. And there are always something to see. Love the gadget booth even it's a little bit pricey
Great Educative exhibitions but only rarely working and the staff aren't familiar with any sort of technical details on how the projects or how they work
A great little gallery! When I went they had the exhibition on the topic around seeing. The staff are friendly and the exhibitions itself was interactive and really well thought out. I enjoyed seeing how they explain the concept in plain English.
Always friendly staff, tasty food, and a nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Acc loved this. Loved the place was great to spend a few hours oit ans about
Absolutely LOVE the science gallery. Fantastic day out with a frequent change of really interesting exhibitions. The materials science "superhero" themed one was brilliant.
It's not that big, so whatever is on here, you'll get through in an hour or so but they also host the coder dojo here sometimes which is a must attend event for kids and adults alike.
Coffee here is fantastic too.
AMAZING! such a great spot. Loads to do. Small but yummy menu and table servic3 is phenomenal, they use little electronic call buttons so you feel in total control over your whole experience. Highly recommend.
Educational and informative. Must visit place especially for school students.
Good, but short. What to occupy about thirty minutes.
Interesting place to spend some afternoon time. I was with my girlfriend and we spent about 45 minutes inside. We didn't see all of the pieces but there was plenty more to see. I don't want to spoil it but there are so fascinating ones to see. I recommend for 18+ at least, that's just the age I can see that would be interested in this gallery. Free admission is a cool plus! You're allowed to take pictures with two stipulations, no selling your photos and no flash.
A very nice visit, a beautiful expo on perfection with very good guide and facilitator inside. To do I recommend
I'm so glad space was made for this in CRANN, the gallery always has something fun & interesting going on and the coffee is the best you'll find on TCD campus by far. The staff are friendly and table buzzer gadgets they were are worth a see on their own haha.
Tried an Oculus Rift! Great displays too. Recommended.
Closed today. Signs indicate it should be open. Why? Why close during holidays when there's more visitors in town?
Every single time I visit I learn something new and get inspired, watch out for new expos! Oh and it's FREE. I always found interactive installations there do break down for some reason, maybe due to the high volume of visitors and lack of resources? Staff is always welcoming and informed.
Very interesting place. We sort of ran into while we were exploring Dublin.
The science gallery is a great spot, the theme always changes, the gallery is free to enter and there are always staff members around the exhibition that are more than happy to talk about the exhibition.
Interesting but small exhibition about IA and robotics
Always something interesting on here! Worth a look in if you have time to spare.
I was in Dublin a month ago, but the gallery was closed.
SIN THAT THOSE WHO WERE TURN TO THE RECEPTION HAVE SAID US THAT HE WAS ALWAYS OPEN!
Always something clever and interesting going on in Science Gallery!
Amazig science perdoectives with broad knowkedge exchang
Very interesting and free science museum with many current and technological innovations
Great exhibitions! Always interactive - you can play there for hours! And it's fine to play with everything, even if you are an adult. :D Exhibitions change every couple of weeks and they are always free. Great place to spend a nice afternoon and learn something while having fun.
very interesting but its a bit small and a bit overpriced in the shop
Amazing things to see and discover the exhibitions change every few months
This is a great gallery with really interesting and interactive exhibitions. Also they show films and have talks to go along with the openings. Great fun, I highly recommend!
Friendly staff, who are extremely informative.
Superb exhibits, however if it was a bit larger more time could be spent at it.
Also FREE ADMISSION
Great Lunches here and on top of that you can learn stuff to! The exhibitions change regularly so it's worth coming back to again and again to see what's going on.
Small but nice exhibition.. They keep on changing collection in every 3-4 months..
Has an interesting variety of free exhibits, some more interesting than others.
Quite a eye opener. The theme was sound and was a very enjoyable walk around and a nice cafe to finish with
Very interesting experience free entry do not hesitate to read the panels and exchanges with students
Fun space with interactive exhibits mixed with a good sense of humor. Super friendly staff with great little tidbits and stories about the displays.
It has geeky gadgets that produce sounds i really liked the one with radioactive ore.
Great exhibitions, and they are free! The cafe is a great spot for lunch or a coffee, and the shop is fun (check out the associated Make Shop at the Lincoln Place side of Trinity, too).
Very disappointed. Very small. There we only two "hands" on displays for kids and they were not working. Everything else was hands off. This is the first science place I have been to were the kids could not interact with anything.
Really interesting exhibitions and lovely surroundings, well worth a visit
Love science gallery, there are always some interesting exhibitions there! Their gift shop has some nice items as well :)
