Went for the interview, after had the loooong assesment(mandarin, malay and english essay) and long waiting until my turn for the face to face interview, they just told me the position/project i applied is full, asked me am I able to accept this Pay Amount project's position. I rejected and left, if said position is full why not remove from job portal?? Another things is, the Interviewer(not sure is it the team leader), so UNPROFESSIONAL! which she never introduce herself, and the conversation sound like 'we are SIMPLY hiring a person to work' instead of looking for a Experience/Skillful person. The way/body language how she presented shown her quality of the services. Honesty, she is not deserved to work in customer service role/leader/interviewer/recruiter, NOT professional in this international company at all!
* I am not fresh graduate, and been working in customer service role for past 8years. From this interview experience, i can see that there is no growth opportunities and self improvement in career path as well as personaliy.

I took my PTE in Scicom center few weeks ago. I got the full mark but after these few weeks I still feel responsible to rate their service.
The coordinator was a lady named "Kumari". Unfortunately, she was very impolite and rude towards students for no reason. It was shocking that for such an important test, this center has chosen someone aggressive with no basic manners!
I hope her poor attitude would not affect others and they could have got a good mark like me. However, it is very sad that it obviously can adversely affect students performance for such an important and expensive test.
I purposely waited few weeks before commenting to make sure I m objective and neutral about it but still when I think about it, it is not acceptable.
Do not recommend this center at all!

Worst decision to join SCICOM HUAWEI DEPARTMENT as they treat their staff like robot but not human, racist issue, double standard on everything. Please think twice before you join this company, wonder why so many good review

I would like to give my review when I was joined Scicom. The recruit process quite an exhausted. I found the vacancy on job portal, I contact HR department immediately and they replied this is Customer Service position which is Live Chat with customer, then HR told me someone will contact me through WeChat, this happened during MCO. The person in-charge contact me after a weekend, talking as usual, introduce myself to him. He asked me a question, What would you do if the customer unreasonably and rudely scolded you? , I gave my best answer as I could. After that he asked me to take an exam to see whether I am qualified for the job. The test is translation, from Eng-CH, another one is essay, Q & A paper, the last one is online typing test. Fortunate enough, I was passed.
After a while I submitted my test, another guy contacted me, this is local guy, he said he s one of the trainers, would like to arrange another interview with me together another trainer. I said okay, just do it right away. So they called me through Skype, one is local trainer, another one is international trainer. We chit chat as usual, introduce myself, HOWEVER, the question they asking all the same, repeat and repeat, over and over again, they insist me to answer again, What would you do if the customer unreasonably and rudely scolded you? Oh my God!
During that conversation, the local trainer sounds very rude, unpolite, with that young age and couple jobs experiences, he acts like knows everything. What kind of attitude that he able to work as Customer service and promoted to be a trainer?
HR sent me appointment letter, I told her that I had second thought after having conversation with those both trainers. After consideration, during this MCO, I think I should give it a try, then I accepted the offer.
First week of training, induction in English. Yes, there s an exam waiting ahead.
Second week of training, induction in Mandarin, same thing over again. Officially join the team this week, but that s a nightmare. Both trainers such as young age, no experiences, be a trainer but read the note from beginning till the end. Yes, there s an exam waiting ahead. The local trainer told us, if we failed, we ll get a warning letter.
To be frankly, I had work experience more than 18 years. I am mature adult with full of life experience, when I was in training, I found out the way they train OR teach, is not efficient at all.
Specially the local trainer, be a guy, but acting like a girl, talk ignorant and boss-y, threaten us this and that, I am older in the team, I unable to accept this kind of attitude, because he didn t show his good manner and handle professionally.
Every week got exam waiting ahead, few team mate were failed. ALM shows up gave the speech and asking, With this such of result, are you think you re entitled for salary? Oh my God
This whole project OR process is like, you need to take a course, to learn product knowledge in order to serve customer HOWEVER you must master it within ONE month.
So, my thought is, whether the trainees result is good or bad that is not related. It all comes back to trainer how they teach, how they speak, how they act, and how they think. My opinion, both trainer were not qualified to be the trainer.
Last but not least, this is not the place for you to learn or gain experiences, unless you encounter a good LM or good trainer.

Would like to thank Scicom Msc Bhd for the effort taken to protect its employees welfare during the hard hit pandemic. Scicom probably has every opportunity to take cost cutting rationales on employees' salaries but they did not do it. Thanks again.

Scicom is the best test center for PTE exam in Kuala Lumpur. I came all they way from Colombo to do the test and I was able to obtain my desired score (79+). This place is very modern, quite, having enough space (12 test takers), with modern headsets, latest computers, keyboards and comfortable chairs.
The most preponderant aspect is the friendliness of the staff, they are simply exceptional. I must thanks them for the excellent support, dedication and kindness that they have shown.Needless to say, all these merits are allowing them to conduct exams smoothly without any technical issues, specially related to microphone related issues in the speaking section. Last but not least, I highly recommend Scicom for all PTE test takers around the globe.
