I have worked here for nearly a year now. I had been trying for a corporate job for quite a while and this company gave me the opportunity to show what I can do. I am an instructional designer with an emphasis on motion graphics and graphic art. They brought me in on the instructional side, giving me the chance to learn the position. I've had many opportunities to use my skills and I believe I came in at a time when the company has been restructuring in a way that is focused on the client. There are associates here that spent time in the field working with families so they have that first hand experience dealing with them and their losses. No place is ever perfect, that's because no one is perfect but this company seems to care for the families they serve. The managers, all the way up to the managers' managers are always personable and accessible. They make avenues for you to excel.

They are a great to work!

As a guy off the streets, I would be the first to leave if I felt it were a bad company and go back to running my own business, but that just isn't the case. Anyone who demonstrates personal drive and commitment can succeed here and I have been recommending friends looking for work.

Great place to work! Constantly trying to evolve and innovate. Management is responsive and supportive and they have a great benefits package and great pay!

The typical sell your friends, family and neighbors then they are done with you. Management hasn't a clue how to sell professionally and as far as Dignity being their trademark, they do not understand what Dignity means. An absolutely horrible place to work if you are a professional. All about showing numbers to the stockholders and be damned the customers.

Best company that I have ever worked for. Won t do anything else the rest of my life.

I have never in my life felt/witnessed so much insensitivity(I am a friend of a family member), all from an obvious disgruntled employee/person, (abbey or Abigail). If you don't like what you are doing, please for the love of God leave. Please beware, I hate to judge and rate the home based on one employee but here we are :( sunset funeral home Rockford Il.

My brother died recently and we chose Bisch Funeral Home in Springfield IL (again) one of SCI's companies. The staff helped support us with their competitor matching program as my brother had no death benefits. I'm sure this program would not be available at Bisch without the approval of SCI. With each family members passing, we find the staff and services at Bisch to highly surpass all of our expectations. Jim Williamson's empathy and support was personal and truly genuine. He was available 24/7 and never made us feel rushed or pressured. There was nothing he wouldn't have done for us in his realm of responsibility. Phillip Bisch was present at the memorial service and also showed genuine compassion. Thank you to all of the staff. God's Blessing to you all!

If I could give them a -10 review I would.
Be careful of this company. They use Customer Service Reps in a Foreign country that speaks very poor English. They constantly post payments to wrong accounts and don't credit you correctly. When trying to get assistance at office in Texas, they refer it back to Mexico.
They are a nightmare to deal with, don't care about the customers, and won't assist you, they love passing the buck.
