I'm will never take my car again to the Schumacher dealer for service.I'm not recommended this place for service.

BAD! BAD! BADI have been a customer of this Jeep/Chrysler agency (currently Schumacher) for over 14 years. Owned or leased 4 cars. I have worked with the same service writer for at least 10 years. Trying to understand the difficulty of the service writers job I have ALWAYS called in advance for an appointment and accepted the suggestion of dropping the car off or waiting for the car to be ready. I ALWAYS accepted his recommendation. Then the following happened. In early June I received Jeep Recall Notice for the Cruise Control. As ALWAYS I called to make arrangements and was told that the needed system update was not yet available. I called a few weeks later and was told that it would be a 45 minute to 1 hour job but they were very busy. It was suggested I call back the day before I was available to get the system update. I called and was advised that early the next day would be good. I arrived at 7:20 AM and there were 4-5 Jeeps there already. In speaking to the writer he said it might be as much as 2 hours. I thanked him for the update and said it would be OK with me to leave and try again at a later time. This was about mid week of July 23. I called again on August 13 and found the crush for the recall was down and if I should call the day before to check for an appointment. I called 8/14 for 8/15 appointment and was advised to come about 9:30 on 8/15. I arrived at 9:15 AM and was advised it would be a one hour wait + or - 15 minut3es. At 10:40 the service writer saw me and offered that it would be just a few more minutes. Then it started. At 11 AM I went into the service area and was told it would be just a few more minutes. The writer then said "you do know that the tech that does the work is not here today but someone will do the work". I said please get my car I will come back another time. The writer then made a call to saying "Eddie please call me". No response. He then did this 3 or 4 more times calling "Eddie" with no response. He then dialed a number a few times and got "NO RESPONSE" I then pleaded with him to get my car. He sent someone for the car. When the attendant returned and asked what color the car was I got angry and walked into the showroom. A salesperson asked if he could help and in a loud voice I accepted his offer.. He then suggested we go through the doors so as to not disturb the people in the showroom and he would get me help. He brought Mr. Harward, who proceed to stop and converse with someone else. I saw Mr Harward's name and since I saw my car arrive outside I said I would call him and left.

On Thursday, 8/16, I called Mr Harward and was advised that he wouldn't be in until Monday. On Friday, 8/17, I sent an email describing the incident to Mr Schumacher, Mr Harward and the service advisor (so as not to go behind his back). Expecting some kind of response I waited. I called Mr Harward again last week to find our he was on vacation. On Monday, 8/27, I called Mr Schumacher, got voice mail, and left my number. As of today I have NOT received any response. Not even an acknowledgement of my emails or messages or problem. Customer care is NOT the byword of Schumacher Jeep Chrysler.

My service experience was outstanding. Many thanks to Donna Skoda for being such a great service consultant and for making the experience so painless. I won't get my VW service done anywhere else. Thanks too to the gentleman who checked me in before I saw Donna. Sorry I didn't get his name but he was very polite, efficient and friendly.

DO NOT take your vehicle to be repaired by Schumacher unless you can afford to live without it for over 6 months!!!

Currently my Jeep has been at Schumacher for the 4th time since July 22nd. It was misdiagnosed by their Jeep expert of over 25 years 4 times and cost me $4600. Then I m told I should probably get rid of my Jeep that has thousands in new parts and they ll give me 1K for it. Are you kidding me, the tires cost 1K. There re having trouble locating a part it needs that I have no problem finding online. So they upped the trade in to a number I was willing to accept. The salesman Peter was only interested in selling me a new car I couldn t afford and they wouldn t budge on the price of, when I wanted something used. I asked if we could work out a deal on a used vehicle that would include my Jeep and the balance paid in cash. They never responded to my offer. Luckily my mother is in a position to help me out with the purchase because Schumacher screwed me. I m a single mom putting her son through college. I m using his car while he s had to use UBER and can t work without transportation that doesn t cost more than he d make. I was told that they would speak with Mr. Schumacher, haven t heard back. My Jeep has faded since being there, has a new top that I m sure isn t being covered and who knows what else sitting unused in their lot for the better part of a year. Can anyone at Schumacher help with this...Mr. Schumacher? Any attorneys?

I recently got a 2016 4 dr AUDI Q5 From these guys , I purchased the vehicle then seen that the buttons on the steering wheel don't function that same day so I brought it back right away to the sales person, he said bring it back in 30 days so your warranty kicks in and he will take care of it with no charge. i work for the U.S SUGAR CORPERATION So i dont have any time until the Season is over this june 2019, so now there trying to put the blame on me like I did it on purpose because it has been 3 months. YOU GUYS SOLD ME A CAR AND THE STEERING COLUMN BUTTONS DONT WORK AND YOU WANT ME TO PAY FOR IT ??

Went there 3 years ago and had a great experience with Rollin Bernardin. He really went out of his way to take care of me and my family. My husband went there last week on Tuesday, with the intent to buy a minivan and the guy wasn't able to work with him by even trying different vehicle choices, he only showed him one minivan, when we knew they had more in their lot. He left there empty hands, but the sales guy was supposed to call him Wednesday afternoon only to call my husband on Thursday the 28th of February at 8 PM with a deal that he had already said no, instead of offering something that we could afford , he kept pushing the same car. This was a terrible experience.Sad to see how customer service changed so much at Schumacher.

My dad a senior citizen lives in Florida and went to the dealer to replace his existing car. They saw an older person and took advantage of him.

They took his old car and said they would return it for him to Nissan. Its been 3 weeks and the lease has not been closed out with Nissan, and so my dad who is a senior is now being billed over $800.00 a month because there are two open leases on his account.

I left numerous messages and no one has bothered calling me back.

My next step is going to RipOff Report, filing a complaint with "Florida Department of Elder Affairs", along with the Better Business Bureau.

This company takes advantage of the elderly living in South Florida.

One of the best pre-owned car buying experiences I...

One of the best pre-owned car buying experiences I ever had. Called dealership (Okeechobee Blvd) at 4:30 PM to schedule test-drive at 6:30 PM. When we arrived, both of us were able to take the vehicle out for a test drive without a salesperson (rare these days). When we returned and expressed an interest in the vehicle, the dealership provided us with two bottles of water and immediately evaluated our trade. They then provided a written offer, but the price was higher than we wanted to invest. We shared the price range we were considering, and within 15 minutes, we had another offer that met our expectations. We relaxed while three of the staff stayed beyond the closing hour to complete the necessary paperwork and make final preparations to the car. We drove away just after 9:00 PM. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly, specifically Jennifer (internet sales), Edwin Caban, Johnny Diaz and Matt Seidle. We are very happy with the experience and our purchase.

The buying experience was initially good, although later after all the paperwork was signed the next day, they tried to increase the price a few hundred dollars . When I pressed for the reason they, stumbled and made up a story that didn't hold water. They lost some credibility at that point, which is a bad way to start a long term relationship.

There was tremendous pressure on me to give a perfect score on the survey, for that reason alone, I don't know how much I trust the laudatory reviews I see posted. Time will tell. Im keeping my fingers crossed

I had a great experience with Justin B. in the Service department. I have owned my infiniti for 2 years and come in every few months for an oil change and routine maintenance. This was my first experience with Justin. He is kind, professional and goes above and beyond in an effort to make sure his customers are happy. On this trip to Infiniti, I needed some additional work done. Knowing I was a busy person and that the work to my car would be lengthy, he flawlessly arranged a rental car for me and worked within my schedule to return my car. He's a great guy and represents this company well!

Very friendly and helpful staff. James was such a personable and respectful salesman and he went above and beyond making sure myself, husband, and my 3 year old son were comfortable. We went to many dealerships and didn't experience a fraction of the attention and respect that James provided. I explained to him the vehicle I was looking for and he walked me straight to the perfect vehicle, a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I would recommend this dealership and especially James to everyone.

I bought a car back here in 2013 and had a very bad experience with a F&I guy by the name of Alex. I found a car I liked for $18,900. It was a used VW CC. On the day I came to get the car I also brought my trade in. Alex didn t seem to like that I had a trade in and told me to come back so they can redo the numbers. I come back and Alex says the car just went up a $1,000 dollars and if you don t like it you can take a walk!

Appalled ! Just unbelievable that an employee would talk like that to a customer ready to buy a car and I was super nice to this guy and he still talked to me like a piece of trash. Will never go back to this place again, if you want to get ripped of and lose money then definitely come here they can help you.

Full disclosure - I didn't buy the vehicle @ Schumacher and they didn't do the initial repair. With that said, I have spent multiple year(s!) trying to rectify my vehicles problem with Schumacher Chevrolet auto repair, yet I sit in the same situation. The service department should be ashamed of themselves. I've had my vehicle returned to me as "fixed" only to have to drop it off the very next day for the same issue. During my most recent trip, where they had my vehicle for 2+ weeks, the floormats were lost, my change went "missing", my phone charger apparently grew legs and my iPod is no longer in the center console. I spoke with the service manager (Kelly) who's response comes across as halfhearted and lacked any sort of empathy. Jessie called me back and said he found one floormat....I just can't with this place. Thankfully GM Corporate stepped in and they are helping me get out of my current vehicle.

TLDR; If you expect professional repairs, go somewhere else.

Most times, I never leave bad reviews, I generally would leave no review, but in this case I was so disappointed with the outcome i want to leave this review as a warning to others. In my opinion, you should not bring your out of warranty vehicle to them for regular maintenance.
I was bringing my out of warranty 2006 truck to them for at least 10 years. During a visit i was advised i needed to change differential oil among other things. I declined. A few months later i started hearing a noise. I brought it to them and they said nothing was wrong with it. The noise got progressively worse. I brought it to a private mechanic who jacked it up and ran it in gear. It made a horrible noise. He opened the differential and discovered it was completely empty. No fluid at all. I always parked it in my driveway in the same spot. No portion of the rear end showed any signs of leaking, my driveway had zero marks on it from a leak. Yet somehow magically the differential was empty. They were the only mechanics i had used for service. While i can't prove it, I SUSPECT that the day they asked me to change the differential the mechanic pumped it dry. Then when i declined the service they just let me drive off like that.
I gave up on the truck and traded it in for a 2019 model AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. Will never go back to Schmacher GMC..

I have a 2011 VW golf paid off 2-3 months ago very low mileage, well maintained. Keep getting calls from Schumacher pestering me about trading it in, keep telling them to no avail NO INTERESTED!!!!! Have 4 lights which come on sporatically which I wanted checked, made online appt beginning of a week several weeks ago with confirmation for the next Friday, was called on Thursday afternoon they cancelled that appt rescheduling at a day not good for me. Made appt this past Monday 4/11/16 for the dashboard light check and oil change which is due 4/20/16 a week from today. Got confirmation, called reminder AND a call to my cell phone asking to speak to me as a sporatic dashboard light going on might not require an appt. I had also written them I wanted the oil change. I was stuck on 95 do to a car on fire. The fire consumed the entire car. I told the woman I wanted to made sure I did not have a short somewhere or something else wrong, that if she was going to cancel this appt I was going to find whatever on the internet to voice my complaints. I would not have written this but my bluff was called when a few minutes ago I got a call from a woman who said she was the sales manager at Schumacher, saw I had a low mileage car, with regular service, I was coming in tomorrow for service, and they could give me a great deal. I as always said emphatically I WAS NOT INTERESTED!!! Last year about this time I got 4 new tires from Schumacher. I was hardly out of the lot when the low tire light came on. It subsequently came on numerous time. I lived up north where the changes in temp which could be extreme cold to extreme heat, never having the problem I have with tires losing air which according to Schumacher is due to temp change. This will be my last VW or anything, when sometime I do decide to buy a new car, as Schumacher seems to be the only VW dealer in the area. I brought down a 10 year VW golf from Baltimore. It went from freezing ice to 90-100 degree heat and humidity. I never had the problem with service or the ones before this before I had to deal with Schumacher's explanations or whatever.

I purchased a 2017 Dodge Charger on 11/15/20. When I brought my vehicle home, I noticed my vehicle was emptying a full tank of fuel within 24 hours and you could visibly see gasoline pouring out onto the street, my driveway and garage. I even had to go as far to put a bucket under the tank in order to avoid gas leaking all over my garage. I called the dealer, to which I was told by Luis (the salesman) and he advised me to contact Arrigo and go through the extended warranty. (An entirely different nightmare). I also had a notification arise on the dashboard that stated parking sensors need to be serviced . I took my vehicle to Arrigo on 2 separate occasions. The first time I had to get a 3 day rental and the problem was not solved. And currently, my vehicle has been at another Arrigo location for 1 week and again I am paying for a rental during this time. I have had the car in my possession for 3 weeks and it has been sitting in service for more than I ve been able to drive it. Allstate is now involved due to the warranty and now I found out the parking sensors were cut which is the parking sensor notification I m receiving and also the gas canister is bad. The lack of customer service is appalling. Luis the salesman has been absolutely no help and simply advises me to continue to contact extended warranty rather than taking accountability. This is has been the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. I have yet to receive the vehicle inspection report and I was never told about a 30 day warranty on the vehicle by Luis. I had to find this information out from Allstate. I want this rectified immediately.

Do not buy a vehicle from Schumacher Auto group. My Wife Bought a 2015 Subaru and got a extended warranty from UDS Inc for Interior and Exterior protection. We filed a claim because there was Tree Sap spots on the roof and the Hood.UDS rejected our claim because they said the Spot was not covered in the warranty. My wife appealed the claim but the claim was either erased or lost by a client Representative We called Schumachacher and was told to set a time for them to send out a independent appraiser to look at the Subaru . 2 weeks after the appraisal was done UDS REJECTED OUR claim saying IN OUR WARRANTY, which we never got. that we had 60 days from when we noticed the Tree Sap spots to file our claim which we did . The product we signed up , Is for 7 years .Schumacher is selling a product from a company that won't honor the warranty In their advertising Schumacher says come join the family . What a crock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very unhappy with this place. I purchase a car less than one year ago I had to get my car towed back to them a soon after to get a repair. This was fixed then a few months later another part broke so I had it towed again and repaired this as well with an oil change. Right after my service light went on so my husband called and the guy said he probably forgot to push the maintenance button when I have time swing by and he will reset it no rush. Well, now my low oil pressure light came on and after towing it again to Schumacher WPB they said I need a new turbocharger $2800.00 after already spending over $2000. I called the service manager and told him my situation and he said he would call me back, he never did. I figured i would trade this car in for a new one with a warranty but now they said they will only give me $3500 for a car that had no accidents 45000 miles and was sold to me for $14,000 less than 1 year ago. Kelly blue book says its worth $11,000-13,800 Plus the car I saw online for 12,500. They said they would sell to me for 15,000? I have never had such a bad experience with a company. I will be sure to always tell people my experience and to post this situation everywhere I can. This situation is not resolved so if they will fix this horrible mess, or not I will post the outcome.

We went for an oil change and I had accidentally set up the appointment at the wrong location. They worked with us and still did managed to work is in and complete the oil change, change the windshield wipers, and washed the car all for an extremely reasonable price. They were all amazing and knowledgable. This is our second experience with them and both times have been pleasant! We will definitely continue going here!

I am a snowbird and went to Schumacher Buick-GMC for the oil and filter change that was included with the purchase of my Enclave. The greeter would was rude and would not let me finish a sentence without interrupting. I asked the service adviser for an oil and oil filter change and went to the waiting area. I could see them working on my vehicle in the service bay and besides changing the oil they rotated the tires and inflated the tires. I am not against them doing this but I did not ask for this nor did they tell me they were going to rotate and inflate the tires. They should know that you cannot inflate hot tires properly, and I had to re-inflate them the next day to the proper pressure. Next, the car was ready and I had to check out with the service adviser, Travis. Travis was no where to be found. After waiting for several minutes I went to the greeter and asked where Travis is. She had no idea. She asked another adviser to check me out. He refused. Finally, she texted Travis and he eventually showed up - no apologies, no explanation. Lastly, I left Schumacher about 3 PM with my Enclave and the next day about 10 AM I received a recorded phone call telling me my vehicle was ready to be picked up. This dealership's attitude is like they are doing you a favor by servicing your vehicle. They are all very busy and very self-important. I have been to well run dealerships and poorly run dealerships. Schumacher Buick-GMC definitely falls into the latter category. Never again.

My agent's expertise and ways of communication before I engaged in that transaction made me feel comfortable. Before I saw any of the cars on his dealer's inventory, he asked me for the monthly payment I anticipated to have. Then, he took me to the lot and I selected my car. He told me ahead of time that he will try to meet my scheduled payment. At schumacher dealer, there is no pressure put on the prospect customer. I highly recommend my agent Chris Benneth and his team at schumacher dealer on Okeechobee West Palm Beach Florida. Give him a task to do he will surely deliver promptly. Thank you.
