I would highly recommend Schu's. They worked with our special diets and the food was excellent.

Love it, the view of the lake adds to the good eats.

This place is wonderful. I love the atmosphere here and what a beautiful view right on the bluff of the greatest city in the world. Bravo Schus. Bravo.

Our lunch was great. The Italian dip was delicious, but it was the lobster bisque was amazing!!!

Lobster bisque was delicious. Salad was pretty good. Classic burger was very good. Apple cider Moscow mule was very tasty. Our server was really sweet, very efficient; liked her a lot.

Government should let them open the dining room, outdoor dining was great.

The best thing about this place is the view from the window onto the beach. Me and my sister ordered the wings and a side of fries which came seperately. The fries definitely came from the freezer as did the 'wings' or should I say wing dings. The food was bland and over priced. Our waitress showed less enthusiasm to our table than she did to the others she was waiting on. Even vendors around the area said the food there had gone downhill. Will never go there again.

I love the food here and I highly suggest the Mac and cheese!! the atmosphere is nice and you can see the lake if you sit outside. I have never had service while eating here too.

They had some hella rude staff. We came in with a group of 8, and the host was about to go prepare some tables for us when our rude waitress stepped in and said absolutely not. They said that if a group of 6 happens to come in, they would have to wait too long. Instead, they wanted us to wait too long. It wasn't a lack of tables or people to cover that section. They were afraid of losing business that never came in. It was 3pm in the dead of winter, and the restaurant was quickly clearing out
Instead, they sat us apart and we kept walking back and forth so we could talk. Then I paid $11 for mac and cheese. It was just melted velveeta.
Nothing special at all. It didn't come with the breadcrumbs as advertised. We asked about it and they brought us croutons. Go somewhere else if you're in town.

Great location - Food is disappointing
I recommend this place for a before or after dinner drink on the patio but not for food.

The food is okay. The service is usually average. I have been here multiple times and have not found a meal that I enjoy but I am vegetarian so my options here are very limited. My husband, who is not vegetarian enjoys the salmon.

I went in late in the evening looking for some food. Most of the city had been without power for 16 hours earlier in the day and they were not only open but had a full menu. The bartender (Chad) was very friendly and let me try some of the local beers on tap while I was also enjoying the local sangria. I had a turkey wrap and it was HUGE! I had a great time here and will come back if I ever visit the area again!

The fresh walleye was very good - probably the best meal I had while in Michigan. The service was also very good.

Walked in and wanted to order takeout so that we can eat by the lake. Host tells us that we can order from the bartender. We go to bartender who says he'll be with us in a second to take our order. After standing and waiting at the bar for 10 minutes and being ignored, we decide to leave. On our way out, I heard the host telling a coworker that the bartender hates putting in take out orders. Unprofessional and a waste of time.

BBQ burger was really good and the southwest eggroll app was different and still really good. Wait is a bit for service

used to be a favorite but sadly has gone down hill of late lousy service last visit. Kitchen wasn't far behind. Fried fish came to table cold and only partially cooked had to return.

The last two times we've gone, the food has been so-so. Last time it was so bad that they gave us a free loaf of bread on the way out.

Great place to eat. Had the Mediterranean Pasta was good, could use just a but more mushrooms. Husband had the Mushroom Ribeye, was very tender and juicy. Sad they had switched out their creme brulee but we are try the carrot cheese cake.

Trying to eat gluten free...lots of choices. Had the quinoa with salmon and avocado...delightful. My wife had the fried chicken special...also fabulous!

The gluten-free pasta was fantastic. Caution on ordering the gluten-free perch many bones. But our whole party, both gluten-free & not excellent!

Tuesday evening in the summer. Waitress wouldn't leave us alone to enjoy our conversation or meal had the meal been worth eating. Half of my food was cold, the pasta plate was not fresh... The online menu is out of date. Horrible, will not return.

Decent food, but pricey for what it is. We had an appetizer and 2 entrees for $60. We only had water to drink. I wouldn't mind paying a price like $60, if the food was better.

One of the only two places in town that has the impossible Burger vegetarian and awesome called in my order excellent service.

Onion rings, veggie burger and sweet potato waffle fries were all delicious. He had potato soup and turkey club panini and raved about both. Will definitely return when we're in the area. Staff was also wonderful.

Good food when it comes out timely and warm. Service for lunch is a bit slower than most places in the area and the prices are a bit higher. I find myself going here when my other favorites are too busy. Great location for eating outside in the summer with a view of Lake Michigan. Good beer and wine selection.

Beautiful setting, I had the seared tuna over salad. It was very tasty. A smaller portions option was available and that was perfect for me.

Tried the burger and fries

Great food, nice atmosphere, good wait staff and a great view of Lake Michigan. My only beef is that it is a bit expensive. I mean, $14 for a burger??? Still one of my wife's and my favored places to eat.

Generally speaking I don't ever go here because the service is usually subpar and the food is nothing to write home about but my mother and grandmother wanted to come here for Mother's Day so I obliged. I first ordered the muscles and the server told me they were out then I ordered the shrimp and the server told me they were out then I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and she told me they were out. At this point I asked her what they had in stock and I ended up getting a ham sandwich because she said that they have lunch meat. I also ordered seasonal vegetables and because of dietary restrictions I needed them to be cooked very very soft and that also was not executed. Overall as usual my experience here was terrible and next time I will certainly suggest a different restaurant to go to. Not recommended at all don't waste your time or your money.

First time eating here and it was wonderful. Ate outside . Good was great.

Really great service food was average crab cakes had to much fillers not enough crab. Homemade Ginger Al was delish. The view of Lake Michigan spectacular!

Quick service in the afternoon fully respecting the governor's pandemic restrictions and very tasty food to boot.

This place is mediocre. I've been here a handful of times during the summer to sit on the patio and have lunch or drinks. The service isn't bad, but it's also not great. Nothing here is really memorable but due to the location and views of Lake Michigan I find myself returning here. I'd rate the food 1 star, mostly bland and the menu is all over the place. The interior is dated and tired. It's never my first choice but during the off season sometimes it's just the easiest place to go to because other restaurants have limited hours.

They have the best ahi tuna in the area (that sauce is amazing). Thai shrimp is also another favorite. Burgers and the Tuscan chicken are the entrees I usually flip between.

I had never been to a brunch before. This was awesome. The selection was first rate. There was sausage and bacon and salmon and prime rib. The dessert was great too
