Put the 3 yr old and 5 yr old boys in the Ski Kindergarten for 5 days, while my wife and I had private lessons off Walther. The facilities and tuition for us all were brilliant, and so friendly. They do skiing very well here for all ages, excellent from us.

We had a wonderful experience with private instruction from Martin, Stefan and Christoph. To all the people disappointed with group instruction my suggestion is to pay for private instruction, it's worth every penny.
We had booked the beginners freeride tour on Friday. Great service at the counter and, as promised, called back on Thursday afternoon whether the tour can take place on Friday or not. Friday 9 a.m. meeting point, guide was Renee. Brief instruction, getting to know the three other participants. Conclusion: Great guide, great organization, no hectic rush, Renee chose an impressive tour and spoke to us personally and motivated us - it couldn't be better. An unforgettable experience, anytime again!
Great experience with instructors spoiled by poor customer service. I am an advanced skier and took private lessons from Ischgl s ski instructors on several occasions. Instructors are very professional, polite and provide a wealth of advice. However, my experience in 2019 has been marred by non-existent customer service. I booked an off-piste private lesson for a whole day a week in advance hoping for improvement in weather but unfortunately forecast continued to show continued snowfalls and strong wind. Avalanche warnings were even mentioned by international media let alone by local newspapers. Day in advance, I came into the office asking for recommendations on whether it makes sense to go ahead with the lesson. A completely disinterested gentleman who clearly didn t care less told me that it is up to me and that snow is good for off piste . Fair enough, although the difference was either to cancel early and pay 35% of the price or a ruined day and loss of all money. I decided to bite the bullet and of course the weather was terrible on the day again with almost all lifts closed. The instructor, called Thomas, decided to go ahead with the lesson and to be fair to him, he did an amazing lesson in such adverse conditions. Unfortunately despite Thomas s efforts, the wind continued to get stronger, and soon all lifts were closed, forcing us to stop early (skiing for 3 hours instead of 4.5, which amounts to about 70 EUR difference). I contacted the office and politely asked if they would be kind enough to return the difference given that I wasn t able to ski for the whole day and was leaving on the next. A completely indifferent woman didn t show even an ounce of flexibility or compassion, and referred me to dry small print stating that it wasn t ski school s fault Silvrettabergbahnen decided to close their lifts . Given the unusual circumstances, the fact that snowstorms were raging for 2 weeks, I was expecting a bit more active customer-oriented approach but alas, clearly the ski school staff were more interested in keeping the money and blaming the unpredictability of the weather.
I can only give 4 stars because of the Snowboard Adult group class. If you have never snowboarded ever (or skied) and this is your first go at winter sports then I don't recommend the group class because you don't really get enough attention to progress nicely. After wasting one day there I went one-on-one and progressed very nicely with the help of Vince and I could not have asked for a better instructor/experince. There is a massive difference in price but you get what you pay for. I have to also recommend getting wrist guards and maybe even knee pads. The wrist guards are a must really.
I highly recommend this ski school. The instructors are professional, active and understanding. No matter what your goal is, whether to learn how to ski or snowboard, to improve technique, or to learn a few tricks, the instructors are able to help. They always try to find new and interesting exercises for you to improve even if you re an experienced skier. The off-piste instructors are very knowledgeable about the area and the snow conditions. The lessons are always fun and productive. Over the 10 years of being a client at this school, I had private lessons with multiple instructors, and all of my classes were useful and enjoyable. The instructors even managed to find the activities in the case of bad weather and closed lifts, so none of the lessons felt wasted. Undoubtably, the lessons are worth its price. Additionally, the service at the school office is also on a very high level. The staff is polite and welcoming. They always try to resolve all issues and clashes in the best possible way.
We had very positive experience with the ski school. Daniela did the magic and after a week my 16 years old daughter managed to ski with a great smile. We appreciate Daniels's attitude and patience.!
