It's an amazing combination of awesome service with beautiful location and attention to detail. It's not the ordinary in your face "everything is gold" kind of luxury, but the kind of luxury where everything fits together so well, that you (can) forget about everything and enjoy your stay.

The hotel with its historic outbuildings, the furnishings of the rooms and the people who pamper you all day, e.g. at breakfast where every wish is fulfilled, if not immediately, because it is not available at the moment but it is on the table the next day.
...... and sometimes words are lacking and then all you have to do is enjoy.

Negative:
- the bathrobes are very small and of poor quality. Not appropriate for the location. Not portable for people over 1.80 m. Unfortunately the worst hotel bathrobe I have ever received.
- Gift vouchers for the spa can hardly be redeemed because you never get an appointment in the afternoon so that the area can offer enough space for hotel guests. So you are forced to come in the morning and not all services are offered there. In addition, you rarely want to go to wellness in the mornings.
- Shower heads hardly let water through the same applies to some taps.
- In the mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the chimneys are not lit, the gastro counter is not occupied and you cannot eat or drink anything. but of course the entrance fee is the same as at noon or in the afternoon .. of course that doesn't work
- The saunas are constructed too high from the room and you sit too deep so that even in the 90 degree sauna, a maximum of 75 degrees are offered to the guests.
- Infusions in the saunas were not offered.
- the gastro prices are a bit too expensive. A tomato soup doesn't have to cost 6 but 15 is actually too much.

Very nice location - very quiet - great resort on the Baltic Sea
An exceptionally beautiful place with maximum relaxation factor. The rooms are distributed in several buildings on the large hotel park. We lived in the old dairy. This is right on the beach and the Bootshaus restaurant. For breakfast or a spa in the Schlosstherme you walk about five minutes through the beautiful nature. If you wish, you can also be driven anywhere. The breakfast is very extensive with all kinds of delicious little things. Here are no wishes left. The friendliness of all employees is exceptional. All in all a wonderful hotel, we would love to come back.
The complex is very well maintained and you can go directly to the Baltic Sea. The massages here are very good (I had two different massages). That's why this hotel has negative points for me:
1. Our room did not have a real shower (only a bathtub where you can shower while standing and then unfortunately the bathroom is under water). This is not possible for a hotel of the class.
2. The Internet here is unfortunately not functional everywhere and also breaks down more frequently in the room. Perhaps that is also why some foreign TV channels did not work.
3. The staff are generally very polite, but they often seem artificial (because they are overly polite).
4. For my taste, the furniture is often next to it (e.g. sushi bar with golden yellow ceiling painting and plastic border in Asian look). In common: the castle cellar was not worthy of a castle and it looked more like a cheap snack bar.
5. In the spa I didn't have any slippers with me and they wanted another 6 here. Seriously?! Sorry, I find that rather petty.
What the hotel is not responsible for, but what I found regrettable, was that most of the guests do not greet you back when you meet. Why don't I know: snootiness?
Overall the hotel is ok. Everyone tries hard, but I personally liked some things less.

At least that's how we imagine it to be: Meadows, trees, flowers, bushes, expanses, sea views, etc. Pure nature. In between stylishly furnished houses and culinary delights that leave nothing to be desired in the boathouse, star restaurant or sushi restaurant.
Very nice employees and a great, unobtrusive, extremely competent service in all matters and areas. Exceptional ambience.
After a few wonderfully decelerated days in peace and complete relaxation, the batteries were recharged. But we still dream a little about the rustling of the trees, the sea and the chirping of birds!

We were there for a long weekend in June 2020 and have already booked our next stay in June 2021. For us it is the perfect place in Germany to enjoy a long weekend and to relieve stress from everyday life. Idyllic gardens, a beautiful beach with beach chairs, large, very tastefully furnished suites, culinary delights in the three restaurants and much more.

I still knew it when there was a small strawberry cafe in the garden and everyone could go for a walk in the park, the many rhododendron bushes, the old bathhouse ... simply idyllic.
The Weissenhaus Grand Village Resort is an outstanding holiday destination, with a fantastic park and beautiful historic buildings. From the complex it is only a few meters to the beach, where your own beach chair is already waiting for you. In the adjacent Bootshaus restaurant, you can linger on the terrace with coffee and cake in the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening.
The dishes in the boat house and in the gourmet restaurant Courtier are of brilliant quality. The staff on the entire site is always warm and courteous. Here hospitality is a joy and pleasure. Every wish is fulfilled here.
Unfortunately, the time at Weissenhaus passed far too quickly and we liked it very much. We felt very welcome from the first moment.

A dream and a feast for the eyes. Rarely seen anything so beautiful. The whole area and the buildings are just wonderful
As an ex Holstein vacation at home in bad weather? Yes gladly! If you are worth it, simply call the Schlosstherme of the Grand Village in Weissenhaus and ask for a DaySpa offer. I had 6 hours including 1 melon smoothie, 1 salad and 90 minutes St Barth Harmonie full body massage (wonderful) for 189 . Compared to other spa's I know, the price / performance ratio is ok. Staff friendly and flexible. Everything was beautiful, clean and modern. When registering, there was a nice cotton kimono, fluffy extra-long towels open end and L 'Occitane care products in the carry basket. The saunas were empty in the morning and manageable in the afternoon.
The only point of criticism for me, the background noise in the quiet areas ... Either hours of lawn mower engine noises or howling children were a bit annoying.
A combination of relaxation areas and small children is somehow mutually exclusive, right?
Especially since it is advertised on the HP that the textile-free area is only allowed from 16 ... where I really have nothing against children, but you are a bit misled, because directly in the textile-free area there are only outdoor loungers for the rest phases ... but not an option in cold or rainy weather. The whole thing comes from the fact that spa guests and hotel guests who just want to swim have to share the beautiful, but also very small pool and of course the upper area on the gallery does not block any noise from below.
Well, the really big pool with a beach in front of it wasn't a real alternative for families in this weather either, so everyone concentrated on the warm water in the castle spa ... understandable.
One thing is certain, I'll be back.
If possible then also with an overnight stay ... the hotel prices, however, I find overpriced for the "very special" and would only want to spend so much money on special offers.

This luxury hotel can not be surpassed in Schleswig Holstein. Especially the park is unique.
Unfortunately, price-performance ratio does not match
Due to the corona pandemic, we were looking for luxury nearby.
Here you will find a very nice park, if you are an active runner, just right as long as the weather cooperates.
You should also seek peace and solitude, rather unsuitable for sociable people.
The reception is celebrated exuberantly, the guest wears a mask and some of the staff.
The vehicle is far out, unfortunately you cannot park in front of the door to unpack.
Instead, you have to transfer your luggage to the shuttle, walk to your room and then you can unpack! This ensures that everything complies with the corona rules.
The outdoor area of the boathouse is rather vintage, the staff exuberantly friendly and the food unfortunately not tasty, even a Caesar salad or pizza is neither tasty nor digestible, and the bill is brought to you at 5pm because it is closed for 1 hour.
To our great astonishment, we were able to witness the next day that the pizza was baked in the open oven without mouth-nose protection and gloves, a real shock in times of Corona!
We wanted to have dinner spontaneously in the evening, but you have to reserve at 6.00 or 8.30 p.m. as the restaurants are fully booked.
We obeyed.
The Shusi Restaurant convinces with nice service, unfortunately only average in quality.
Our room was very dark, the lighting in the bathroom left a lot to be desired and there was only one washbasin, everything was quite small and thanks to the lack of mosquito nets and air conditioning we were able to greet all sorts of insects.
The beach chair was so dirty that we cleaned it ourselves as we waited in vain for room service.
The room service was decent and should be mentioned positively after some initial difficulties.
The breakfast was extremely clear, especially when it came to the selection and quantity, but also here an exuberantly nice staff, friendliness was trained, memory unfortunately not, you also had to bring a lot of time.
On the positive side, every room has its own beach chair, the beach is not wide but sufficient. Unfortunately unsuitable for swimming because it is a natural beach, with so many stones that we preferred to keep our distance because we didn't want to injure ourselves.
You can order a shuttle on the premises to e.g. To go to breakfast, a service that is necessary due to the distance and that we were happy to arrive when it rained.
The beach boy on the beach is very pleasant and service-oriented, thanks again for this.
The pool area is small, definitely great when the weather is nice, but we had rain and so we couldn't use it because it is not covered, which is a shame!
In the end we had to eat out, as it was impossible to get a table for 6 p.m., which was not planned, but you are also flexible there.
Conclusion: It's a shame, the price-performance ratio doesn't even begin to match and even for a quarter of the price it wouldn't be acceptable!

The location and scenery are nice but the staff is rude and does not live up to the expectations you have from other places in this category. Food is ok, but overpriced for what it is. It's one of these locations that you want to be better and can't really avoid because everything around is worse, but it still leaves that bitter taste of mediocrity at a hefty price - and you know there are better options elsewhere.
I have been to Weissenhaus for the second time and am always thrilled. The autumn days were just wonderful and when it rained, I used the time in the SPA. The staff are so incredibly friendly and no wish remains open. On the third morning my favorite drinks were already on the table. From the sushi bar I was particularly impressed and the newly designed boathouse I like very well. See you soon and thank you for the unique time-out from which I recharge my batteries.
A dream facility for a relaxed weekend for two! Very quiet location by the sea with a beautiful spa area
Beautiful facility, which looks like her. For a whole restored estate village as a hotel complex is so no further time. The vastness but also has their disadvantages, because so are the ways sometimes such. for breakfast or SPA very far. The breakfast is excellent and all staff friendly very accommodating. The SPA and the pool are not huge, but very pretty and cozy. The buildings are partially listed, so there is no air conditioning, on hot nights it can be very warm.
Particularly noteworthy is the complaint management and the response to the guest. We had a bit of bad luck the first day / night (room not ready, at night bad fire alarm, in the morning cold water). It was excused several times in addition to small attentions there was an upgrade to a suite and also the first night of the bill. Great praise for this! It is a pity that there is not much to see outside the complex.

Heaven on earth! Anyone who has ever been to Weissenhaus has come to enjoy a magical place. Here values and traditions are lived, which gain in rarity in our world today. We have been regulars for over four years and there is really no hotel whatsoever close to the water. The personal welcome on arrival by the esteemed Mrs. Fischer are what characterize a real host. Last weekend I participated in the yoga retreat and I can recommend that to any yogi. A perfectly planned daily routine, coordinated menus in the evening and a well-trained yoga teacher, Ms. Sandra von Zabiensky, complete this retreat. Our children feel very well again and again on Weissenhaus and are always welcome. Anyone who claims otherwise on this platform does not tell the truth! From the greeting to the farewell, we felt well looked after by the warm staff of the Weissenhaus. No wish remains unfulfilled and yet you have the space to spend a relaxing time together. The two restaurants on the extensive site that extends as far as the Baltic Sea offer, each for itself, a first-class experience in a unique ambience. The suites in the orangery of Weissenhaus are modern and furnished with great attention to detail and offer everything you could wish for in terms of comfort. The beautifully landscaped park is ideal for walks. You feel absolutely to yourself on the huge site. The also stylishly equipped thermal baths with, among other things, Two outdoor pools, a fitness room in the winter garden and a sauna area allow you to relax completely. The sumptuous breakfast buffet is served until 12 noon in a charming half-timbered house. This is the perfect way to start the day.

Nice place to relax and unwind, whether to 2, as a family or alone. Picturesque landscapes to discover, on foot or by bicycle, clean beaches, clear water and many activities for big and small.
The hotel can not be more beautiful. And it has a very interesting story. I am very spontaneously in the "Weissenhaus" and was very enthusiastic. A nice area, very big, but not too big for great walks. And if you do not want to walk, you will be taken from a to b by shuttle. The staff are super friendly, from the front desk to every single employee. I could name at least three employee names that totally "knocked me out" because it does not work professionally. You remember the surname and no matter in which room you go, you are welcomed by name - as far as you know them once. What many other hotels do wrong or simply do not do is done right here. At breakfast I was greeted by the director, Mrs Fischer. All this has a very personal and professional character. The wellness area is super nice, the breakfast was great ... and if you want to know correctly, you go to the 2 star Michelin restaurant, where the star chef Christian Scharrer personally in the end asks for the right. They have great location wines, very well chosen. I've tried a few. All in all ... great service and great location. The price is reasonable and absolutely justified. I have been recommended this hotel by friends and I am looking forward to the next time! In this sense, once again many thanks for the hospitality!

A super nice hotel, with a feel-good character! At the beginning of March we were in the bath house in the hotel complex! I decided on it back then because we were looking for peace and quiet and wanted to relax in three days!
I can only say that I have never experienced anything so beautiful before.
The bathing house is in the middle of the forest and is only open to guests who have actually booked the bathing house.
The paths to breakfast and dinner can be seen as a short walk, or if you want to call the shuttle service.
The breakfast is just delicious and the scrambled egg variations on offer are hard to manage :-)
The price is of course not cheap for three days, but completely justified for me.

Websites are very patient, they often only show what "Eppendorfer-Werbe-Trullas" think about between 2 espressos - "the guest is king and you should feel at home" - mostly worn-out phrases.
Then you come to Weissenhaus ... The details make the difference, everything is just like at home, hand-painted doors and furniture, light switches with attention to detail, perfect bathroom, every evening a small carafe of port wine and a glass bottle of Acqua Panna in the room, absolute cleanliness, unbelievable Friendliness - this time the website promises less than is offered, Weissenhaus is a home.
It's fun to walk through the facility and through the rooms and discover all the loving details.
