Scappoose Public Library Review

For a town the size of Scappoose, it is quite a nice library. Various events for kids and teens. And it is a nice looking building.

They have book sales that tend to be held in conjunction with various town events.

The park nearby has a skatepark, a fountain for kids to play in, and lots of grass for them to run around in.

Friendly staff and well seperated age sections. There is a teen room, quite adult section, and fun kid nook. A new playground, intetactive fountain, and large gazebo make outdoor time enjoyable.

My favorite library in Scappoose. I love the people and the relaxing library of this library. The upper levels give me a good space to do my homework. I really like the team read space and the little kids space is also really well done. On some Saturdays they have a book sale which I think is worth going to. You can always buy a good book from that sale. They also have community events for kids in the conference room, which I have found to be really fun. The outside of the library is very nice due to the play structure and fountain. The fountain is a Michael curry original. There is also a gazebo which you could have a picnic in. I think it is worth it to stop by and say hello!

Huge selection of books. They keep the adult quiet section upstairs away from the child's section.

This library has some of the best staff ever, and has a wide selection of books to choose from. They also have magazines, newspapers, movies, and audio books.
