My son is in the Little School and we could not be any happier about the care he receives. The class sizes are small, there is an actual curriculum, and they also get to enjoy seeing the school's salt water aquariums, turtles, chickens, gardens, etc. What a wonderful place to send your child and well worth the money.

This school is very racist!!!! If you are african American your kids don't stand an chance. Unless, your kids are athletes. This school not only broke me and my kids heart but, they don't care about African Americans.
My son graduated. My daughter is junior. Best school in Savannah by far. Where should I start. Great academics. Small class sizes with dedicated amazing highly qualified faculty from kindergarten to senior class in high school. Best campus and facilities in Savannah. It is safe and well maintained. Arts program is amazing. Very talented faculty leads the art education at country day. Their art shows, performances are first class. School has it's own stadium, track field, baseball facilities and several gyms. Science labs are up to date and constantly in use. Students are well connected to outside the school activities such as internships, shadowing professionals etc. School offers trips to amazing places and experiences.. my children are not Christians nor white.. they were never bullied nor were subject to racism.. instead they made great friendships that will last a life time. I highly recommend Savannah Country Day School.
This school changed my life... if it was not for this school i would a completely different person. this school sets you up for success at a very young age. i have been going here for a long time now and this is my last year i am in 8th grade. the teachers are wonderful people and if it was not for there SLD program i would be failing. i am not the best student when it comes to grades but i learned what i want out of life and how i want to achieve it here so thank you. this is a collage prep school and it is a hard one at that. a lot needs to be put in if you want any reward out of it. this is a good school and if you want your children to do well in the real world this is the school.
The parents raise their children to be racist and teachers act oblivious to it! My son still speaks about his horrible experience at this school. The kids picked on him and the teacher acted as she was oblivious to the taunting. This can't be true, that she was unaware, because I attended field trips where I witnessed it with her. But when the administrator asked her is she was aware of the racist name calling, she denied it. My son was punched in the face in the first week he was there... but they spoke poorly of my race!!!??? What was the punishment to the child?? Absolutely nothing!!! Most mornings, after drop off, I heard many parents speak about having drinks... "happy hour time" they yelled!!! First thing in the morning!!!??? I even had a parent lie to my face about why my black child didn't receive an invitation to her child's birthday party!!! (So sad) Children are not born racist, they are raised. I wish I could receive my entire tuition back for that year! If you are other than Caucasian, don't waste your money ... just for your child to be targeted!! I had to give them 1 ridiculous star just to post this!!! **note the people who rave about this school
