I'm one to research, research, research when going into something as life changing as a mortgage, buying a car, electronics, etc. I found Savage and Associates through working with my local Credit Union.
I worked with Billy on my home mortgage about a year ago, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He takes the time to explain your costs to you. If you have any questions, he'll walk you through the documents and explain all the numbers to you so that you're comfortable with everything. Billy is a mortgage broker, not a lender, however he is able to find you a better rate than most if not all of the other mortgage lenders out there. I did my mortgage shopping and research before getting in touch with Billy, and even with all of the shopping and research I did, Billy still got me the best deal. I even had a lender tell me that they would match the best deal I found, and when I leveraged the best deal against them, they told me to take a hike. Billy has been doing this stuff for 25 years, and he's such a pleasure to work with and also a wealth of knowledge. When you go to close on your house, Billy will show up in person and explain every document that you sign so that you're comfortable throughout the closing process too.
Additionally, when the mortgage rates tumbled this year, Billy reached out to me to gauge my interest in refinancing and saving money. I worked with him to refinance my mortgage to lower my interest rate, and once again, walked through all of the numbers and explained everything to me so that I was comfortable throughout the entire refinancing process.
I highly recommend giving Billy a chance at helping you with your mortgage needs.

Cannot recommend Savage and Associates. Their employee, 'pretended' to be a consumer looking for life insurance information. Sadly, Savage and Associates offers life insurance, and this employee, Kyle Schwimming, tried to steal proprietary information.
