Food was very good, service was extremely slow and it took quite a long time to get our food. The wait was somewhat forgiven when the food arrived. My wife and I opted to share one of their 1/2 pound burgers. They split the Burger and fries and sent them out on separate plates. Very nice touch.

Good service and food. Excellent creamy asparagus soup. I was pulled away for a phone call and when I returned to my seat, 15 minutes later, my soup was replaced with a fresh, hot bowl without even asking.
Service was excellent and the food here is by far the best in town. Fresh bread before you meal, salads are fresh and delicious, daily specials are always a good choice.
This place is a joke. The owners are never there, and when they are there, all he wants to do is talk about himself and what HES been doing. What about how am I DOING? The bartender is really rude. She acts like she doesn t want to be there and the only time she is attentive is if she s trying to sell me another drink. I watched her serve a woman 5 glasses of wine in an hour. WHO DOES THAT?! wouldn t you be more cautious of your clients and their safety of getting home, not the amount of money you may collect from them...... The food is nothing special. The marinara sauce is bland. The Alfredo sauce is like they made it earlier in the day and it just congealed all over my plate. It must sit there for hours.... definitely not made to order like every other Italian restaurant.....The desserts were just like any other cannoli and tiramisu. Definitely not homemade I can tell you that for a fact. The only nice thing about this place is their patio. And mainly because they are one of the FEW that has a place outside to sit the 2months out of the year its warm out. I would travel to Ann Arbor or Toledo for Italian food. Only eat here if you have nothing else to eat.
Convenient parking, greeted happily . we chose the patio to eat at, clean well maitained and very inviting. Waitress very attentive to us ,answered all our menu questions, and the food was very good, large portions of the chicken parmesan make it my favorite, we drove from Toledo and it's our 5th visit, I've never been disappointed. Keep up the good work!
I had the veal parmesan and the portion of veal was small. There were three pieces and the one in the middle was gristle. Ugh. The sauce was delicious and desserts fabulous
I am a regular visitor at Sauce. "Chianti Dave" they call me because I love their chianti wine. In fact, I love everything about Sauce--the food & drink, the atmosphere, but especially the great staff, like Desi, Weese, and Kyle. Eddie in the kitchen is the greatest. Kim and Dave, the owners really make their restaurant a "destination place" in downtown Adrian, Michigan. The steaks are exceptional and I dearly love Grandma Merle's Lasagna! There is alot of nostalgia at Sauce for me also. Back in my college days Sauce was Mr. Ed's, the place I had my first "legal" glass of wine. Visit Sauce today!
We lived in Adrian most of our lives. We came back here to Adrian to visit after being gone for 6 years because we now reside in Florida. We had a wonderful experience and the atmosphere of the outside patio was beautiful. We are American Italians and we were pleasantly surprised to find that this gem had authentic italian food that was exceptionally delicious. Please go to this restaurant if you are a visitor or local you will not be disappointed!!!
Second visit. Food was not as good as the first. Ordered the same entree. Waitress was very lacking. Sorry. Wanted it to be good for visiting family and my birthday.
While staying in the area we tried this place. The food was not bad, but nothing to write home about.
The service was poor at best. The waitress we had forgot refills for drinks multiple times and by the end we just stopped asking. The two calzones we ordered came out way after the rest of the table was done eating as well. Some of our party actually left the table to go for a walk to give us time to eat. By the time we actually got them they were over cooked and way burnt. Server did not offer an apology or anything.
End of the story on this place is the food is about average and the service was even worse.
Always love visiting Sauce when I m in town. They have really good Lasagna! The staff are always very friendly and the manager was making rounds making sure everyone was taken care of. I can never leave here without one of their amazing chocolate Canoilis ! Hot spot in Adrian for some good food in an ambient setting. Nice little family owned and operated place - Highly recommend!
Cooper was our waiter and he was a warm amd friendly server. His suggestions on the lunch menu were spot on!! The food was delicious!!! We loved our lunch experience from start to finish at Sauces! A jewel in our community.
Nice place, atmosphere was very good and the staff were nice. The lasagne and bread were delicious, but I'm always peeved when a salad isn't included with the price of dinner. That's my only complaint. Sauce is definitely still worth eating at though!
My husband and I had a date night. Went to sauce for our dinner and the meal was good but the portion was a 2x2 size portion of lasagna. My 4 year old could eat that and be full. We live in Indiana, and my parents live in adrian. First date night in 3 years and we had to go somewhere else to get some more food. Our meal was $28.00 for two lasagna that my kids would get filled up on. I will not go back. The service was not that good. Never ate there before and we got a new server and her trainer never came over to make sure she was doing a good job. I do not recommend.
Sauce is a real favorite of ours my husband and myself love going there and Justin is one of our favorite waiters. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great. I love sitting outside or in the back room or at the bar anywhere actually, always a fun time.
HORRIBLE service! Food was ok but definitely not worth the price. I m willing to pay a lot for good food but this was definitely not worth it! Service was pathetic we waited almost 10 minutes to order, we could see and hear their kitchen, which included the cooks and server talking loudly with foul language. The menu is VERY limited. Olive Garden is so much better!!!!! I will never return.
Awesome meal!!! Awesome desserrt!!! Awesome atmosphere!!! Awesome service!!! Awesome waiter-Justin!!! My husband is Italian, so we know authentic Italian flavors. With that being said, we are so happy to have found this wonderful quaint restaurant, that is our new favorite place in town! I can't say enough about this wonderful experience! Our meal started with a beautiful platter of bruschetta cheese bread. My husband ordered the chicken Marsala. His meal came with 2 sides, roasted potatoes and sauteed zucchini and yellow squash. The chicken was cooked to perfection and I couldn't believe the beautiful paired flavors of fresh herbs and seasonings on the chicken and sides!! I ordered the cheese ravioli with the blush sauce. The pasta was delicate and tender and the sauce was silky and delicious with a hint of sweetness. We ended the meal with a cannoli (of course). We ordered an original and a chocolate cannoli and we shared them. My husband's family has a wonderful cannoli recipe. All the women get together and make these cannolis for the rest of the family around the holidays (as it takes all day to make). So it's a, once a year, treat that we all look forward to. My husband said, outside of his family's recipe, he's never tasted a better cannoli than this!! We were absolutely delighted and satisfied with our experience!! We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you, Sauce, and Justin, for making our evening a memory we'll cherish forever!!
I'm a huge fan of Italian food, and I gotta say they do it justice here. Wonderful atmosphere, can feel a little crowded when it's busy, but you have no problem still being Intimate. The food is very well made, and is just to my liking. Will definitely visit again.
The food and service at Sauce are really good. The pasta sauce they have is some of the best that I have ever eaten. The free bread the give you is really good too. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant. You may have to wait a while in a small area for a table but it is definatly worth the wait.
I found the good to be delicious. The wine was very tasty but skimpy on the wine pour for the price. It is pricey to eat here and then though it's decorated with pictures of olden downtown Adrian I couldn't help but notice the servers stand around more than they should. As good as it is I have to say it's priced similar to Olive garden but without all the extra perks. Nice place for a celebratory meal for sure. They are always busy with plenty of happy customers. Definitely worth your time to eat there because the food is truly excellent. But it's loud and sound echoes. I still say check it out. Everyone loves the food.
We are regulars ~ wait staff was terrible ~ food was not prepared properly ~ pasta way overcooked ~ lasagna was soupy with whit sauce & very rubbery ~ spaghetti sauce very sweet ~ martinis were bitter ~ we e-mailed our concerns TO HELP RECTIFY the situation, so it wouldn't affect others ~ STILL NO RESPONSE
