We stopped in Sarnia on our way from Wiarton to Bath Ontario and found the Sarnia Yacht Club to be a wonderful facility. The entrance from the lake needs your undivided attention as there is quite a current passing by.
The washrooms were clean and bright, the showers are amazing!!
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
We stayed a couple of extra days due to weather but had a very enjoyable stay!!
The entrance to the St Claire River is right around the corner with a 4-6 knot downbound current so be prepared when you depart.

Beautiful! I have been to so many events here. Family has a well there and loves the bartender. The club is always clean and tidy and the beach has some cute gazebos and a firepit which is awesome since you can't have beach fires elsewhere.

Members were nice to us and were not abrasive. We were unaware as guests that we weren't allowed to be there due to pandemic restrictions and the members were courteous enough with us to let us inform our member friend before we left the premises. I appreciated that we as guests there were treated with respect despite our ignorance.

I attended a wedding here. Nice location. Didn't see much beyond the hall, but it's a very popular wedding location.

I believe in order to have your wedding here you need to be a member of the club, or have a member vouch for you.

Sarnia Yacht Club provides an area for its members to store and launch yachts into a sheltered marina.

The club also has various services including a large yacht crane, dry dock storage, and a dedicated members club along with utilities and marina services.
