It complies according to your requirements. Despit...
It complies according to your requirements. Despite being small it is very complete.
Its only problem is the high price of all the premises. Definitely buying in there is not an option.

The airport is very good. But there is a big problem for tourists and they do not warn you anywhere. UNDER ANY CONCEPT TAKE RED TAXES, those are from the state and are Thieves. It is a scam.
Sure the airport is clean and modern, however this is one of the most expensive airports I have ever spent time in. Ensure you eat and drink beforehand as the options at the airport are not only abysmal but also outrageously overpriced.
This airport is a medium-sized airport but extremely clean. Very impressed with the cleanliness and its stores. I bought some Costa Rican coffee at a store there and it was very good. I should have bought more than a pound.
This is the fastest airport I experience in central america. Their enough custom agents to see everyone in a timely manner. They're kind and even help with whatever questions you have about the country while they're are processing your arrival.
The airport itself is well functioning and clean but the taxi drivers outside the arrival area will not let you alone even if you tell them you're not interested. Our original flight was delayed, and the counter was "closed" for this other flight we wanted to get onto, but the Delta employee gave in and got us in after much begging.
Regrettable. Leave a bad image of a country that has many things to enjoy. The only thing that saves him is the kindness of the Ticos.
The line for passport control and security left the airport and reached about 100 meters beyond the outer door.
Forget "Fast Track" if you fly in Business. The only thing that works to accelerate the step is to carry the black MasterCard card (the Amex Centurion or other super-exclusive cards are not worth it, in case anyone is curious).
The supposed VIP rooms do not improve the initial impression but, in any case, contribute to consolidate it.
A tourist place par excellence like Costa Rica does not deserve that airport.
Wow what a cool airport from arrival to departure ... very modern and functional ... for the departure the britt center The Best in coffee of all kinds and there are everything shirts .. chocolates .. hats .. food.es walk and walk to boarding .. there is also the great dutyfree for last minute shopping ..
Aviator greetings
Just arrived here 2 hours ago. Still waiting in the line for the entrance. It will take another 2 hours. 10+ planes arrived instantaneously and only 4 people working here for thousands. The worst airport experience ever!!
12/05/2019 An efficient and fast terminal at the entrance and exit from Costa Rica, and a selection of duty-free parking. Take a look at the selection of chocolates and coffee, Pura Vida, thank you.
Well maintained, Airport looks new. Plenty of Britts coffee inside the departure terminal but the price almost doubled the Britts factory price, usd 13+ per packet where it cost only usd8+ per packet. Coffee and chocolate coated coffee have the same price. Plenty of cafes on either left or right hand side of the gates.
It has been modernized a lot but there is now a lot of walking required by passengers.
I had a wonderful stay in Costa Rica I met very nice people there but I realized that the maloney and thieves are in the customs department of the airport my suitcase to spend the x -ray with a customs employee who certainly to mark it so that an accomplices to the luggage forces me the cadena of my vilise to steal my camera
PS I thank in passing the company Balair for the flight gone and return particularly execrable and for your inaction for the reimbursement of theft of my camera.
A Fournier
The place is very nice, quite spacious and with many shops of all kinds. The prices are somewhat high.
A bunch of thieves!!! Beware they will steal things out of your luggage. They will leave a note stating your bag was checked. They will steal!!!
Here, we waited in line for a long time before it was our turn. However, the lady of Customs speaks English very fluently, and we have her help to complete the purchase of Cuban travel vouchers. She asked to show all the information related to the trip, and the inspection information was very detailed. After she was satisfied, she would generously encourage tourists to do a good job immediately. After everything was ready, she took the initiative to ask if she needed assistance in ordering Cuba travel vouchers?
Because travel vouchers that are relatively cheaper than those in the United States can be bought from here, we are so happy that we can buy them. The big rock hanging in our hearts can finally be put down. When I first arrived at this unfamiliar airport, I originally planned to spend special time at the information desk. It is said that if you arrive in Cuba without buying travel vouchers, you will be deported because Cuba does not sell travel vouchers for foreign tourists.
In the airport's waiting room, in addition to drinking fountains, it also provides mobile phone charging equipment and wireless internet, which is quite convenient.
Medium size airport. Clean and nice. Easy to find yourself once in. Majority of restaurants close quite early during the week so if you have late evening/night flight the choice is very limited. Be sure to reserve enough time to travel to and out of the airport as the traffic is crazy.
Waited in immigration line for over 2 hours. Inadequate staff working with < 1/2 the possible positions staffed. And then another 45 mins at customs because only 2 of 4 luggage scanners staffed.
And on way out only 2 immigration officers (though 10 possible seats) & only one open security aisle (of 8) so another 1.5 hrs in immigration & security on way out.
The airport charges $28 per departing passenger. Clearly they have built the airport to address the larger crowds, but why is it not adequately staffed? Airport experience will discourage me from visiting Costa Rica - better to fly 2hrs further to South America!
Have not stood in immigration lines this long at an airport since the 1990s (aka the 1900s per my kids).
Good time for a layover. Wish there was sings or info for public transportation to Alajuela. It's quite expensive taking a taxi
Given that it only has a single terminal it is very easy to get around.
Good wifi.
Good airport.
Pleasant staff.
Smooth security, immigration, and emigration.
Expensive souvenirs.
They surprise you with a US$28 tax per person for the privilege to leave the country. Pick another country for vacation.
A nice, clear airport.
The domestic flights are uncomplicated and are good.
A very nice airport good clean service and people are very friendly!
One of the most beautiful, they have improved a lot although, as in any airport, services and shops are expensive.
Very nice airport efficient easy to use and the staffing is helpful customs is quick efficient and got through with minimal waiting
Almost all airlines have already included the departure tax, before queuing to pay ask the airline they travel with.
Everything was efficient but a warning to USA travelers, if you buy something duty free, the bag it's packaged in is not accepted in the US and you will be forced to put in a bag to be checked.
There is only a quiznos and one dine restaurant. Food is good but expensive. Airport might add more.
Great airport to travel into - friendly, clean, fast. Plenty to eat, shop, charge and rest.
Blockades and more fatal blockades that lack of seriousness from people who do not respect the rights of the people who work.
Nice small airport. Very nice service and people speak good English and Spanish. Don't have to look to hard to get help. Nice food court. Leaving the airport is a bit of a mad house, but it has always been this way.
Very beautiful, organized, clean and excellent customer service.
The transport service is terrible the taxi are thieves
You can get there by car or by bus, Uber is the most comfortable option. Just outside is the bus stop, the entrance is accessible. The structure of the airport is nice, the prices of the shops a little high, but it is the normal thing in the country.
Very good. Only sometimes the A / C is excessive and unnecessarily cold. Otherwise well. There are craft shops, restaurants and VIP lounge all open after 4:30 am. Connections for the entire region. It is a medium sized airport, however in excellent condition.
This airport has been greatly improved. It is no longer the same ugly airport that we had before. The government has really been polished to make it flashy, clean, and first world.
The kiosks and shops inside the airport all reflect things of the country for the latest souvenirs that tourists can take with them. Inside the terminal, there is a food center, however, it is a bit expensive compared to the prices outside the airport.
The terminal is not gigantic either, but over the years they have added new exit doors.
The terminal is very clean and organized.
Nice airport, a bit small but still excellent. The check-in area is a bit small. When coming in the country customs was super slow and long line and waited like 3 hours. But going out was super fast. There was WiFi, duty free and decent amount of places for restaurants and seating area.
It's small, but it's pretty. If you want to eat something, there are stores outside where everything is cheaper than inside. Always remember to bring money to pay the exit taxes.
It is super I love there are many planes that go to countries that I want I do not have to stop
Everything is very accessible and the people who work there are very friendly.
Small airport The controls are fast. The prices of duttyfree have seemed expensive to me. If you plan to buy tobacco when you return, there is usually no tobacco in the duttyfree, just PallMall. For the rest, everything is comfortable and quite clean. C9n free wifi.
I like the airport very comfortable I give it the 5 stars
Parking for motorcycles is free only for motorcycles!
Comfortable airport with modern facilities even though it lacks of security efficiency. Sometimes takes over half and hour others just a couple of minutes to get through. Handy gift shops and duty free outlets but very expensive compared to outside prices. Highly recommend you to travel in the morning. WiFi works great (over 8 mbs on every device).
It's super cool, from check in to check out, it was very easy and stress free. I recommend this airport.
As we say the Ticos continue to repair the chante.
Large waiting areas, cleaning in hallways and excellent sanitary services.
Extensive security both private and Public Security, variety of stores, currency exchange offices. Airport prices, buy once and do not return!
The 7600 law and the anti-smoking law comply in all installations.
All facilities have air conditioning, carpeted floors in waiting rooms, in general it is very good.
The people are kind, they help you in whatever you need.
I never saw such an expensive airport. $ 12 mini pizza. Craft 5 times The price.
All the prices are prohibitive whether to eat, or to bring souvenirs or alcohol. Consider shopping before.
Excellent airport, comfortable, friendly staff and speed in the procedures
Small but functional, without delays, somewhat strict in customs but friendly.
Confusing to get to, but it runs like a well oiled machine
This airport os really small but has everything you may need, there are two lounges, many food options, Britt stores, clean bathrooms and many places to charge your phone. Some gates are small so normally crowded but this is not a big deal.
A small airport but it is still comfortable and very functional. I like it and much better than others
Spacious, large and clean. Many of the Taca and Avianca stops to fly to South America are made here. It is an important airport. In general, Costa Rica is one of the most important tourist attractions in Central America along with Panama
Modern airport, but it is inconceivable that there is no lockers service for which we make long hours links.
There is a lack of information on public transport to get to San Jose, as soon as it arrives it is a swarm of taxi drivers looking for customers.
Easy to navigate, modern facilities and most personnel are friendly and welcoming.
I went there to pick someone up, so my review is only of the outside of the arrivals terminal. The coronavirus hysteria has made waiting for one's arriving relatives more chaotic and stressful. Cannot even get close to the exit doors. Virtual arrivals info has been taken down. Lots of security everywhere, sp that's good. Overall, good experience.
