Best salmon I ve ever had. Prepared just right. I brought my wife here for her retirement party, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Northeast Ohio's hidden gem. One of the best restaurants in the region. A great menu, a great staff, great ambiance, and the upstairs bar is the perfect place for a nightcap or a relaxing conversation. The menu is great, but the specials are always a sure thing. A solid wine list and great healthy Vegan / veg options make it one of my favorites.

A anniversary dinner with a couple of Manhattans, Greens and beans appetizer. Rack of lamb and Chicken Milanese and a complimentary canolie. WoW. First time their. Five star if a little quieter but it was the lounge. It would be nice if other guests didn't use their cell phones.....

This is our place for a special event. We loved Gavi's, but since they closed, this is our place for Birthdays and our Anniversary. Caramelle has always been my favorite, but I have been branching out to try other entrees and have never been disappointed. Love it and can't wait to get there again! Owners are both so nice and you always see them, it's nice to feel the personal touch they offer.

We LOVE Sara's Place and we eat there almost every week. Monday's are especially our favorite night to dine in with family. The staff is excellent and the food is always delicious. There is something for everyone on this menu. It's also a great place to grab take out if you're busy.

Fabulous restaurant with phenomenal service. The waitress was wonderful to be around and did really well with small talk. The family and I appreciated that. Lots of options to choose from. They offer take out for anyone who cannot stay. Sara s Place is a must for anyone who loves food.

The food is so scrumptious and reasonable for what it is just think of lunch as dinner and enjoy

We were there recently. The food was excellent. We had the appetizer, it was delicious.I had carmelle, my favorite, they were delicious. This is the restaurant to go to if you want good food every time.

Lovely meal this evening! Haven t visited in quite some time. An old friend who is no longer with us introduced us to this spot.

Everything was delicious. The timing was perfect and our server was extremely attentive.

Chagrin Salad, Onion + Feta pizza, beans and greens, and cauliflower pancakes were on the menu! Oh and the delicious grouper special!

Well done on the social distancing and the hand sanitizer at the table!

The food was nice. Accommodating on changes, and service was well done

Half of our group of 6 didn't like their salmon or the overcooked walleye.
I had the white bean soup, VERY thick with the beans. Also had the meatball appetizer which was good.
Seating is too tight in the dining room.
Don't really recommend.

This might be the best restaurant in Northeast Ohio. Excellent food and the most professional service in the area. I would give Sara's a higher rating if Google would allow.

We held a birthday party and the room was perfect. Access to the beautiful patio and the attention of their best server. My only regret is that I cannot recall her name.

While our experience may have been an aberration, our weeknight dinner a week before Christmas was so noisy that we could barely hear the other couple with us or the waitress. While the food was certainly good, a restaurant evening is as much about conversation as food. In this regard, they failed miserably. It will be a long time, if ever, that I go back to this restaurant.

A charming restaurant nestled in Chagrin Falls. A perfect atmosphere, creative entrees & appy's. Dining in the lounge is our favorite. Especially if our waiter, Al, is on duty.

The noise level upstairs was unacceptable. We couldn't hear our conversation. Salad was fresh but mac and cheese was undercooked and chewy. For the price, I would expect better.

Very accommodating for dietary restrictions including Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian. The normal menu is easily marked. Gluten free buns, pasta and pizza crust available.

Love Sarah's Place. Excellent food, intimate setting. We stopped in late afternoon, split a kale salad, and a Margareta pizza. Perfect! Recommend reservations if you're planning to have dinner there.

Food was good(burger). We sat upstairs in the bar. It was so dark at 6;30 that most of the people had to use their cell phone flashlight to read the menu
I would think that the owner would get the hint that they should increase the lights. By the time we left at 8:30 it was so loud that we couldn't wait to get out of there. Been there before and this was the worst experience. Or

Nestled and tucked away in the Hunting Valley/Gates Mills area, I stopped by for tea and dessert in the lounge upstairs. So this is my review of the lounge.

Nice, homey, cozy, intimate. Quaint. Really dim lighting. Our waitress was super nice and accommodating. Wasn't that busy. Kind of like being in neighbor's living room with a bar.

The reason for the just ok 3 stars is that I wasn't that impressed with the menu or the food. Mostly, instead of some nice music for ambiance, there was a TV on loud at the bar. Politics for one or two patrons. Risky move today. We decided to leave. Don't want to get into it. This place has been running long enough to be sensitive to the mood.

Your mileage may vary. If you find yourself in the position of the loud TV, I'm sure you can ask to turn it down. I can imagine it being a nice yet informal place to meet, otherwise.

Decide if you want a lounge or a bar. Can't have both.

Sigh. Used to love this place. It has become good, not great. The food is okay, but dishes like their beans and greens that used to be amazing are now a bit pedestrian. And the menu has not evolved much in the past 5 years. Still love the staff and location.

A true gem. Food and service are both superb. Decor is simple yet elegant, but in no way stuffy. Menu very broad. Upstairs lounge is a real treat. Clientele is predominantly local, which in this neck of the woods means decidedly upscale.

I am here right now having a delicious dinner with my family. My son gets the lasagna every time we come. Highly reccomended!

Great staff, delicious food, amazing gluten-free and vegetarian options (and meat and pasta and fish, too!)

The food is top quality, so it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. I've always found their spicy dishes to be particularly good, though. The decor is pleasant and has a very airy feel. The location is really beautiful, being located in a well forested area. My only gripe is that it's located pretty far from anything else, making it difficult to go on a regular basis.

Charming, adorable, and cozy with excellent service and reasonably priced.

My friend and I had a lovely lunch here on her birthday! She enjoyed her wine and huge meatball sandwich, and my chicken piccata with mashed potatoes was delicious! The service was excellent, and she and I were both surprised by the birthday treat that we ended up happily sharing. We of course will return!!!

Lunch meeting on the patio. Have salad with salmon, excellent. Canoli was great too. Friendly service.

Always a very pleasant experience. I only wish they you had enough steamed mussels to accommodate a later dining crowd... That's the 2nd time that we have Gone to Sarah's and they are out of a wonderful steamed mussel appetizer.... Still the food and the service was spectacular

Very comfortable setting with prompt efficient service, great wine & food choices (excellent cabbage rolls and baked eggplant) and an excellent setting to enjoy friends!!

One of the most enjoyable evenings we have had in quite some time. The food is excellent. We had three very different entrees, pasta, veal and halibut - all were superior. The mussel appetiser was the best any of us had ever had and we all well traveled. Best mussels in Ohio, yep! It's the sauce. Priscilla, our server made the experience even more enjoyable. Informed, relaxed yet prompt, and a joy to talk to. The ambiance was perfect given the quaint springlike setting. Although we dined inside, it would have also been the perfect out on the patio. I wouldn't recommend stopping upstairs at the bar for a drink first. The drinks are excellent, but the hustle was a tad disconcerting. Not enough to take off a star from the wonderful experience we had with our special out of town guests.

Very attractive . Two floors . Upstairs has a Tavern feel with bar and Fireplace. Downstairs is brighter with windows out looking Gates Mills charm.

Beautiful and eclectic ambience with some of the most amazing cuisine. Their pasta Bolognese and Mac and Cheese are simply fantastic. Love the scenery and the service is super!!!
