WORTHLESS GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS, THEY MUST GET A PENSION FROM THE CITY OR STATE- ABSOLUTELY ZERO HELP FROM THESE PEOPLE-

My girl was tired so i told her to SMWD... after that she went to go get a sandwich and droped it, she bent over but i was right in-front of her. I said SMWD "whay I just finished dadi" I looked at her and said, its wiggly for you... SMWD!!!

This company overcharges like crazy. I pay $55 a month just in admin fees . I only use about $40 of actual water a month so I pay roughly $95 a month. Pretty steep water bill for 2 people living in a home. This company is only about profits.

Shut off our water and our account is current.
Called and they said oh we re doing some work in your area. I said you have our phone number why not leave us a text message? They said they had left a door hanger notice but we apparently didn t get one. So no water today.
Billing will continue as usual.poor customer service and poor communication with customers.

I had a water leak it was underground, no one called from the water district. The water bill was $1800 for one month. Normal is about $65. When I called them, they said it seemed unusual that the water never stopped running. I ask could you tell that, oh yes we saw that. How about a heads up from them with a phone call to tell me that the water is running day and night.

Come on SMWD! $700+ water bill and only $200 was actual water usage. You re access charges for local small business are ridiculous! You are a small non-profit utility. Has your board of directors gone crazy with corruption? Small business beware. Before you move your business operations to this utility, know that you will be paying for the high salaries and beautiful buildings of SMWD. This is robbery. No complaints about the service side, just the fact they are the most expensive in OC. One star for cost.

When I moved to Mission Viejo in 2013 my Basic Rate

was $15.45 now 7 Years later my Basic Rate is $48.56..!!!

That is a 304% Increase.

Equaling 43% Per Year Increase.!!

Set up Auto-payments with the "Water District" years ago and things were fairly consistent for a long time. Now, I noticed that they QUADRUPLED MY WATER BILL! I use very little water; no lawn, few water consuming appliances and very calculated showers! So what gives!?!? Last year they billed me 3 times within 60 days..the same exact amount! Sometimes, maybe every 6 months or so, they don't bill at all! This is crazy and I cannot budget with such erratic unexplained Auto-payments going out randomly...I WANT SM UTILITIES HANDS OUT OF MY WALLET! They told us to cut way back on water consumption and as a community we did...now they took a hit so they're raising our rates? Terrible!!

They said that they would not raise my bill! They're liars!

I had a sewage line break in March 2019. Luca Marin and his crew did an amazing job! It was a real difficult situation and they were incredible! Thanks to Luca and his crew and the RSM WATER DISTRICT!
