Sanford Police Dept. More like Lame-o Police Department Amirite?

I would give the Sanford police department five stars but I had to meet one of their officers because of a traffic violation...I was at fault. Will say the young man conducted himself in a very professional manner and explained every detail very well. I know you all deal with some of societies worst and sometimes its best. Keep doing what you do and thank you for being our front line in a great community. Again, thanks for your service to all of us. Doug.

The let a woman die by the hands of her bf. She called several times for help and they told her to stop calling and she was calling for help now a woman and her child is dead..... Perfect example of protect and serve

I have called so many times about the motorcycles that race around at this time of night EVERY night and apparently our tax dollars do not matter enough to patrol Sanford ave/Ronald regan and airport blvd. Maybe the MEDIA SHOULD BE CONTACTED. A robbery has gone unsolved even with my servailance cameras.

Had an encounter with an officer who was incredibly hostile and threatening and was extremely unprofessional. When complained to the Sanford PD they insisted she was extremely professional, very disappointed.

A great dept. If you dont do the wrong then you are ok, but if you want to try the cops and be a menace to society, then society or the cops will take you down.

Chief should of looked elsewhere when choosing a second in command. And the luitenants son should be in prison for beating that homeless man and laughing about it on video. But he was exonerated of charges. Wow, watch local 9 for the answers!!! FTP

Sometimes you wonder why do some people have a job. First of all black lives matter, because mines been harassed over and over again by this crooked department. Just being honest. I've been greatly falsely accused by both parties of my stalkers who're pretending to be the victims, but they are manipulating the law and bullying me and the crooked racist crooked cops who arrested me. Even the black cops are nasty. Just being honest. Both of my stalkers and enemies Cindy Ineda Philemon and Zulma Linda Marquez lied on me so bad that I was facing life in prison just because of their lies and the polices helped lied. I still didn't get any justice and they want to call me crazy to cover up their crooked lies. Also I don't have the money to afford a good lawyer. Hurricane hurry up and come and blow all their crooked crazy behinds away. I'm just being honest. Bye you'll.

The most lying and cricket police I ve ever interacted with . Kyle Krupa badge #252 lied to me when I requested a supervisor come to the scene and said he did not have a supervisor. I requested this since he stated my kids were not in their car seats properly (even though they were). Very rude and condescending. I will not let this complaint go until this officer is suspended or FIRED since he lied behind a badge

I have been a victim of drivers licence fraud due to lack of common sense. A person was pulled over and cited by officer O Garcia using my drivers licence. He was wearing a body cam but never got close enough to even see her face on camera...meaning he wasnt close enough to compare the licence to the face of the woman in the car. Not a beru thorough job at all. Conatcting the department has been a nightmare, they take weeks to respond and don't even provide you with PUBLIC information regarding your own case! The only helpful person I have interacted with so far is Mandy in records. The ticket is $189...however the plane ticket, hotel, and days off work I will need to show up to this "identity hearing" will cost me much more...and I SERIOUSLY doubt the Sanford police department will be reimbursing me for their deputy's tremendously careless mistake. Zero out of ten for me. I am no impressed whatsoever and extremely inconvenienced!!

Retraining of some of the officers on SPD is definitely needed. Just because you carry a badge doesn t make you right. When police officers break the law, then there is no law.

"GeorgiaGuy" is a typical arrogant, biased, unsophisticated, naive, gullible white man who believes the fairy tales told by racist white Sanford police officers and prosecutors. The investigating detective does now claim that he wanted to charge George Zimmerman with relatively minor crimes (whoopee!) However, there is no actual proof of his contention. Affidavits can easily be altered (Philadelphia cops did so to me after they robbed me and then falsely arrested me to cover it up.) Even if said detective did write such an affidavit, real evidence proves that all other involved Sanford cops covered up George Zimmerman's cold blooded, racially motivated execution of young Trayvon Martin. Sanford police officers are racist coward thugs who masquerade as something better. A pompous hillbilly's propagation of myths declaring otherwise does not make it so.

I am sick of seeing these power hungry revenue officers they call police, violate every rule they say the normal public cant do. Tonite, i saw a sanford pd patrol car number 744 rolling through stop signs like they didnt exist. With the public trying to walk the streets of hidden lakes in sanford. I saw him speeding around 35 through the neighborhood also. I have lived here for years and see this sort of thing every day. The emergency is that they dont feel like stopping. I know there will be no action taken against car 744, at 805 pm, when the offi cer ran the sign. Please sanford pd, stop being douches.

I m am completely impressed with the way they handle people with a mental illness. They carefully access the situation and see that they are or are not a threat to themselves or others. I applaud their ability to understand what a need there is out there for these kinds of classes. Keep up the good work,

I would give this 0 stars if I could. This department held no accountability for their negligence in the Murder of Latina Vernita Herring and her son. She called the police to protect her from her boyfriend and they said he wasn't a threat. He came back 3 hours later and murdered her and their son and shot 4 others. Thanks for training your officers correctly with our tax dollars

They were very gentle when they handcuff me, and their patrol vehicles are very roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrest by them again, for sure.
