Family Friendly Place, peaceful and lots of hidden treasures to explore for adults and kids.

Lovely, peaceful place with numerous trails. You can park at Woodward Park and take your family, your doggie on a leash, or just yourself on a peaceful walk. Direct access to the river and lots of little trails snake around through brush, grass, but mostly sand and gravel. Seating areas, picnic tables, and bathrooms are provided. Bike-friendly. A real gem in Fresno!

Attended a Respite by the River. Amazing place, beautiful, seems like you're so far out of the city but it's only like 10 mins from River Park. Amazing organization.

This venue is an absolute must for a wedding or important event! I had the pleasure of working with Jesus for my wedding and his attention to customer service- with his easy going, knowledgeable, friendly and professional attitude is the best I ve come across in the industry! The rental process was quick and very affordable, I looked at over 3 barns in the area and they were beyond expensive and not even as new or had the event space this location offers does in fact offer. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept. I absolutely LOVE this place, the price and Jesus the even coordinator. Do yourself a favor and check out this space for your next big event!

Very picturesque location for walks with the family or a picnic with a special someone. No room for mistakes here, San Joaquin River parkway is a great out door location for anyone looking to get in touch with nature without going to far out of Fresno

This a great hidden park of Fresno. The house and grounds are very pretty. I have taken multiple shoots here. They also offer it as a venue for parties or weddings. The hours are not long but if you want to enjoy a little hideaway from town it is a great spot to spend the day.

I got married at this location. The property is very beautiful. My family goes to walk around the pond regularly. I love learning history, I love learning about the outdoors and I love being outdoors. So I can enjoy doing all of those activities by visiting this location.

San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust Inc. was absolutely amazing. We ended up having to cancel our wedding due to Covid 19 and Jesus, who is the person in charge of rentals, was amazing to work with and was so understanding. We are planning on getting married later next year and will for sure being using this venue in the future. We have had nothing but great experiences with the staff who opened the barn and museum up multiple times for us to go plan for our ceremony/reception/and rehearsal dinner. I look forward to working with them in the near future.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with The River Center! Even though we didn t get to have our wedding there due to the pandemic, they were very accommodating in offering alternative options for us, which we really appreciated. Jesus, the manager, was very kind, and always responded to our emails promptly. The venue is beautiful, and offers so much variety in the layout of the grounds. Not to mention, it s one of the most reasonably priced venues in town. We are so sad that we won t get to have our wedding here, but we can t wait to come back and visit!

The trails and the pond area are very pretty. The conservatory has done 6 miles of bike trails connecting to and through Woodward park and they maintain a house built over 100 yrs ago.

We just had our wedding this past weekend and we had a great time! This venue is so beautiful, the pictures came out amazing! The staff, was great, special shout out to Jesus, the rental events coordinator. He is very much on top of everything and very helpful! The price to this place is honestly very very fair for what you get! I highly recommend this place, it looks even better in person.

Very interesting place! You can take several different walking tours. They host music events. I am not a member and was a guest at a fundraiser. Very local!!

Amazing customer service! Even with Covid-19 happening and all the postponements happening they made a micro-wedding work and were very accommodating to all the needs we had. I highly recommend this beautiful site! Jesus did an amazing job in keeping in contact etc... about the event. They also made sure that the whisteria plants by the tressles were quickly trimmed before the event. They did absolutely amazing to make our day the best it could be with all that has happened. Thank you all so much!
