Recommend taking different route through this town.

Tried to contact the the Sheriff's office about a car driving 5mph under the speed limit. They were willing to send a unit out until I identified the car as Sheriff's squad unit #152. They hung up on me and I am concerned because these slow drivers are causing so much danger on the roads. It shouldn't matter if you are a LEO, if you drive under the speed limit you deserve to be punished just like the rest of us. Please do something about these dangerous drivers not speeding, the rest of us have places to get to!

Not sure what the requirements are for driving under speed limit. We were not but 5-7 miles under because of traffic and was pulled over. Deputy said it was suspicious driving even when we tried to explain the reason he insisted that we were doing something wrong.
Never ran information but wasted 15 minutes circling the vehicle. Would never identify who he was.

Called about my neighbors yelling and shooting a gun at each other atn and when they showed up they did nothing but waste time.

Deputy Snow likes pulling you over for doing 5 miles UNDER the speed limit. Then gets a little irritated when he can't find anything else after he harasses you during the "SO-CALLED" traffic stop. Then gives you a warning, then can't explain what the warning is for. Please hire some better deputies that doesn't have a power trip just because they wear a badge.

Here's your warning Mr. Suspicious Black Man for driving too cautious on the highway.

You better make sure you speed up next time you come through Sampson County or next time your getting a ticket for impeding traffic.

the speed limit is a limit of how fast you can go, not how fast you need to go.

I just saw the video of Anthony Perry being pulled over for driving 5 miles UNDER the speed limit, and being given a written warning by the officer for doing so. The speed limit is the maximum speed you should be going. The officers in this county clearly have nothing better to do! If this is not a case of racial profiling and abuse of authority, I don't know what is. Some police officers should not apply for the job if they cannot control their biases. You should be ashamed!

I would like to thank all of The Sampson County Deputy Sheriff's for doing what they do and putting on the uniforms everyday to help keep the public safe. I really appreciate what you do. I back the blue 100 percent.

I just saw a video of a gentlemen who was pulled over for going 5 miles per hour under the speed limit. This officer was clearly racial profiling the motorist as he wouldn't give the reason for the traffic stop when requested by the motorist. The officer not only avoided telling the motorist the reason for the traffic stop but finally relented with the reason of driving UNDER the speed limit. When the motorist demanded the reason the officer further insulted the man by issuing him a warning for a law that DOESN'T EXIST! This is clearly an injustice and an insult to law and order. Tourists, Stay away from Sampson County, NC. Sheriff deputies will pull vehicles over for going 5 mph UNDER posted speed limit.

I just cannot believe that a civilian tax payers valid question(s) are not being acknowledged or addressed during and after traffic stops. Especially when he s being interrogated for Complying With Street Laws and Traffic Stop! Fully cooperative! Still he gets no explanation or answers to his valid questions. What type of teachings/culture is going on here?! Our community deserves better!! They deserve respect.

Wondering why a Deputy Snow from your Department pulled over a man for going 65 mph in a 70 mph zone; asked him questions that were not relevant to the stop whatsoever; and refused to let him know what "transgression" he had committed until he handed over his paperwork. Is this typical protocol? Is this behavior tolerated and encouraged? Because gracious.

Traveling 5 miles below the posted speed limit isn't a crime. Definitely wasn't worth a traffic stop with a bogus warning. Why was this man's itinerary and rental car status in question?

Officer Snow White, you had time to waste when you unnecessarily pulled that man over and wanted to shoot the breeze. You even whined about him not wanting to have a conversation with you, but you suddenly got a train to catch when asked what the warning is for?

I just saw the video about being stopped for traveling 5 mph under 70, to note several drivers do this every day on the same road. It is not clear from officer if driver was impeding the flow of traffic, I think the driver should follow up with the sheriff department. Did the officer really say better than I deserve doesn t Dave Ramsey say that, so at the very least, the officer has come in contact with Dave show. By that I will infer the officer is looking to do better for himself at least financially... officers and sheriff alike you should start doing better for yourself by starting with your character..treat all people as God treats you...and know the constitution and the laws you swore to uphold

Sampson County sheriff's will pull you over for going 5MPH under the speed limit, ask you questions in an interogative manner and not fully explain the reason you get a "warning" for driving safely. This sheriff office operates more like they are in Alabama rather than NC, and give their deputies unfettered power to illegally stop drivers.

Wow! 5mph under the speed LIMIT? It's a LIMIT isn't it? Are we supposed to carefully drive exactly 70mph to avoid getting pulled over in Sampson County?
