Salty Dog is what yoga is really all about: fostering community and connection. The studio is warm and welcoming and there are a variety of classes to suit beginners and seasoned yogis alike. It's so much more that a place to practice yoga, it's a supportive family that welcomes you wherever you are on your journey. I'm grateful to call Salty Dog my yoga home!

I love Salty Dog Yoga & Surf! They have a great selection of classes, at all times of the day and evening, the owner Mandy is amazing and they have incredible, experienced yoga instructors. I've had a monthly membership for several months now, and love the ease of going to classes anytime I want and as often as I want. Some of my favorite classes are the full moon and new moon yin classes with sound bowls when I'm feeling like taking a low-key class, and power vinyasa when I'm feeling more energetic. I also love how tight-knit the Salty Dog community is. Everyone is friendly, loving, and it feels like family. I highly recommend this yoga studio!

I am so grateful to have discovered this gem of a yoga studio and wellness center. They offer a variety of classes for all levels of experience, unique special events and the best owners/instructors by far! Following some health issues, I started going to classes and had positive results on so many levels on my journey back to wellness. I credit them with helping me get my life back! Love this place and highly recommend you find a class that's right for you.
What can I say this is my happy place! No matter what my state of mind is when I open the door to Salty Dog Yoga, I m at peace and happy when I leave. Salty dog is a sanctuary! I ve been attending classes here for years and I always feel like I m coming home when I enter the studio. The variety of classes & times gives me so many options. The teachers are amazing and diverse. The workshops are the best I ve ever taken. I can t say enough good things about Salty Dog, it s truly a treasure to Carolin Beach locals & visitors!

I absolutely love Salty Dog Yoga! Not only are the classes diverse and available at all times/days, but Mandy and her staff offer special classes on subjects of interest to most yogis, as well as events that celebrate the businesses of Pleasure Island. They have worked hard to make sure all classes are safe during Covid, and even when I can't get into the studio, I can do virtual classes. I just celebrated my 75th class -- can't believe it!--with Salty Dog and there will be many more to come.
Love this studio! Mandy and her crew are all amazing! Great class options for any level . They even have Pilates and Thai Chi. Great people and great environment.
