Visited, but didn't see all the dead birds, like I saw on my visit to Ivanpah Solar Generating station, and the wind power farms in Wyoming. Yes, when it was open, it polluted. But the environmental damage solar and wind power cause, and the loss of wildlife habitat and the killing of eagles might make the tree huggers feel good, but two wrongs don't make a right, and the lesser of two evils argument only goes so far.

I draft this review in my capacity as visitor. Hence, the bad rating. I understand that the energy I and others consume must be produced somewhere and somehow but this plant is certainly not an eye-catcher. Gladly enough emission seems to be under control nowadays.

Such a bad thing right here in this landscape where you have enough sun and wind to generate power in a sustainable way. Even if they shut down this power plant, Americans will do what they always do, just move and left this coloss behind. I don't expect that the company will spend a single dollar to remove this building. Especially as it's on the land of the real Americans.

Ugly relic of the past. To see it spewing smoke above beautiful Antelope Canyon is such a shame!
This need to be shut down ASAP and converted to a museum to remind future generations of the cost of American industrial revolution

Worked here in 1978 as a field engineer with GE - the maker of the three 750 MW turbine/generators. I remember it as a HUGE but well managed power station, but after 42 years, I guess it was well passed it's prime. Nonetheless,. a fantastic facility.
