I have rotator cuff issues and Barclay gave me a therapeutic massage that has allowed me to be able to move my arm without intense pain. I am super happy and will definitely be returning.

My wife and I Showed up for a 3:00 appointment only to find out they could not accommodate. They said they had our phone number incorrect so they could not let us know in advance.

I had my very first massage from one of their masseuses, Viki. I have had re-occurring back injuries for many years. My massage brought the pain down from almost impossible to work with to barely present. I'm usually quite skeptical of alternatives treatment plans, but I think the massage worked at least as well as a weeks worth of NSAIDS have in the past, and without the upset stomach. Most assuredly worth my time to try it.

So my mother got me a 60$ gift card to spa visage for my birthday for my nails. I drove an hour to the salon hoping since the prices were pretty high that i would have good customer service, a clean environment, and perfect nails. I received NONE of that!

It started off with a wait of 30 minutes even though i arrived for my appointment on time, the whole time getting rude looks and being ignored. They were not busy, they had one customer. Once the lady came out, when i had picked out my colors she said "ew that will not look good". Really lady?? i did not ask for your color preference, nor your rude comment. I also asked for a certain shape of nail, and she said she could do it, in the long run she was faaarrr off, and her technique was terrible!! Dipping my nails in the powder, and blowing it all over me! On top of bringing blood, while she was cutting my cuticles! i had a business meeting and i was late because it took her 3 HOURS to do my nails!! And they were uneven, ugly, horrible looking!!
I paid a total of 70$ for these terrible things, when i could have went down the road in my town to a local Asian salon, had my nails done perfectly, with nice people for 25$ in less than 30 minutes.
I didn't even let my nails dry, i tipped her because im a nice person, went to my meeting, then scheduled an appointment at a real nail salon to get them removed and redone.
If you price your services are so high, you need to back the prices up. Or else just close down because your 'higher class environment' is just all show.
This place really blew my mind on how terrible they were. Its incredible that they are still even allowed to do anything with nails. I do not recommend this place to anyone, if you get a gift card, Sell it!! Waist of time, unless you just like throwing money in the trash.

I am a new mother who is breastfeeding and had started having severe lower back pain due to nursing. I decided that a massage might help relieve some of my pain. So, on Monday, April 30, I called Spa Visage as soon as they opened to schedule a 30 minute massage. My child still wasn t taking a bottle, only breastfeeding. So, I obviously couldn t leave my child with anyone for my 30 minute massage. I only scheduled the 30 minutes just in case he started to cry or woke up during the appointment. I arrived at my appointment a little bit early so I could get prepared and nurse him right before I went into Spa Visage and he would sleep. I walked into Spa Visage and there was only one young female that was working the front desk. She asked me for my information & I told her I had an appointment for a 30 minute massage. She looked down at her computer and would not make eye contact with me and stated that I couldn t take my son back with me. I explained that I couldn t leave him with anyone because he is solely breastfed & won t take a bottle. She continued to look down at her screen and said I m sorry, but you can t take him back with you. If he wakes up & starts crying, he will interrupt others in the other rooms.

I understand the whole reasoning, but my question is....mothers who are in the same situation as me, in severe pain and need relief are supposed to suck it up and somehow deal with it??!! I couldn t even hardly hold my child because of the pain.

I have had several massages at Spa Visage in the past. Thanks to this employee, she persuaded me to never give them another dime.

If any mother is dealing with the same issue, I recommend going to Knoxville Spine & Sports on Ray Mears Boulevard. My husband called right after I was turned away at Spa Visage & they made me an appointment. They told my husband that I was welcome to bring my newborn into my appointment. The chiropractor there fixed my issues and I am no longer in pain.

Thank you Spa Visage for your lack of compassion. You ending up doing me a favor and sending me to the best place in town.

I had a pedicure with Becky yesterday! She was so helpful, took time to look for a special color of orange/red just for me! She was professional, friendly, thorough and delightful. I will certainly know who to ask for at my next pedicure.

We were looking for a Nail Spa for a birthday experience. This is definitely a Salon vs a Spa when it comes to getting nails done. It was comparable to any run of the mill nail salon. Countertops, pop music, etc. The check in staff were polite but not super friendly and didn't ask how the experience was upon checking out. I wouldn't recommend it.

Got a relaxing day at the Spa! They truly made me relaxed for the first time in weeks! Will definitely be back!

The place is pretty and it's in a great location, but the spa is probably not any better than another place that's a bit cheaper. You are paying for a Ford location.

I had my first massage here and it was amazing! The woman who did it, Lindsey, was extremely polite and patient. She made me as comfortable as possible. I also had a pedicure and manicure done by Cookie. She was friendly and helpful. The employees were ready to serve you and would offer to bring you water. Also, if you go, get lunch! The salad was superb!

I hope to return to Spa Visage in the future!

This is the only spa I ll consider! I ve been going here over 15 years and it feels like home. The staff is so friendly and attentive that you don t want to leave. Cherry is hands down the best estethician I ve had!

Took my girlfriend to the same person to have her her colored last time it was 60 this time over 150 felt like it was a joke at first .so same person same color oh and let's just say a random amount over 150 cause our dick owner wants to park his audi right in the way making it difficult for customers to travel conveniently though the parking lot of my randomly over priced salon please do you self a favor and go somewhere more personable and cheaper those people all looked so sad in there or scared.

The atmosphere was very pleasant and one of the three manicurists we had was very nice and did an excellent job. This visit was for a manicure and pedicure in anticipation of my daughter's wedding. Cynthia, my manicurist was very nice and my nails looked great. However, my two daughters were with me and also received mani/pedis with dipped nails and they were NOT satisfied with the quality of the service received. The bride had to request a re-do on a nail because of a red dot on the nail - which happened to be a drop of blood from one of two cuts that the manicurist gave her. The color that supposedly blended with the gel on her toes was nowhere near the color it was supposed to be. She was so frustrated over the cuts and the color. Although I tried to get her to go back to the salon and complain, we were so busy with wedding prep there just wasn't time. Other daughter complained of extra polish on her skin around her toes and the fact that her dipped nails didn't cover as much of the nail as they should have. Definitely not worth the inflated prices and won't go back unless I specifically request Cynthia.

I had a massage and a facial, and I couldn't have been happier with either! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The environment is relaxing and I didn't feel rushed to leave when I was finished. I will be back for more!

I had a wonderful and relaxing visit yesterday afternoon. I booked a 60 min massage with Helen and it was fantastic. She was attentive, kind and professional. I get massages frequently and whenever I travel and this was one of the better experiences I have had, ever.

Really disappointed steam room and sauna did not work but therapist was great. I will have to see if I want to be back not too sure and few friends who I referred are choosing not to go due to my experience.

Third year repeat for my birthday. Best gift ever :)

If you are ever in Knoxville, go here! The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff were amazing, the facilities were clean, and the prenatal/couples massage could not have been any more perfect. Wonderful place, definitely worth the trip!

It was my first time using Salon Visage and accidentally went into Spa Visage asking if I was in the right place. All three girls at the front desk laughed at me and were very condescending when telling me where that I needed to go for the Salon. Extremely and unnecessarily rude to me. I don't think I will go to either again because of it even though I loved my haircut at the Salon.

I ve been to Spa Visage off and on for 18 years. I had a terrible experience yesterday with a massage therapist. I shared it with the manager who just said, Sorry but there was no offer of a credit or refund or any attempt to make it right. That s bothersome to me.

Colton at Salon Visage is in my opinion the best stylist in the salon. He s an incredibly talented stylist and a super sweet guy. I ve been getting my hair styled by Colton for a while now, and I always leave with an awesome haircut. I have a scar behind my ear from a surgery and he always takes extra time to hide it. No other stylist I ve seen has been able to minimize it other than him, and I greatly appreciate that. He'll also show you how to style it, so you ll know what to do with it once you re on your own. I highly recommend him if you re looking for a stylist.

I appreciate the friendliness of the front desk staff at Spa Visage; they always greet me by name and wish me a good day when I leave. I have used Cookie for manicures for several years and highly recommend her. She has suggested several polish colors, at my request, and I've put two or three in regular rotation during manicures and have gotten compliments on each. She is friendly and caring and does an outstanding job on my nails. I look forward to every trip to Spa Visage!

This is a true spa. I felt very relaxed and welcomed. Emily the message therapist wasphenomenal she communicated with me about everything that was going to happen and what to expect and I was not shocked by anything she was doing. Sarah the esthetician did such an amazing job with my facial and talk to me like I was an old friend I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will be back for more services!

Great manicure and pedicure. They always do the highest quality work without rushing. Very relaxing! Cookie is very experienced and always a pleasure to see her!

The ladies who took care of my daughter & I were incredibly nice and it was nice to have conversation the whole time. However, I paid $65 for a manicure and a gel manicure. Any place else would have had me wash and then they would have massaged my hands before applying the polish. Not here. Straight to the polish after filing & then no lotion or anything at all. My fingernails are jagged and have sharp edges so I m going to have to go somewhere to have them fixed.
They were so nice and the lady who did my daughters nails did a nice job.
I wasn t given an option to tip them when I paid.
I don t carry cash on me.
Also In a spa usually there s relaxing music and smells. Nope. Then the lady who worked there at the table next to us proceeded to talk about a Christmas song that s pretty much a date rape song in front of my 12 year old daughter. Now let s talk about awkward and not relaxing for me!

Amazing ambiance and atmosphere! I started going here earlier this year and have no need to look any further for the full salon experience! I have frequented other salons in the area however, I found that they give you their best scalp massage and style the first two or three times. NOT HERE, every time is an experience like the first all over again. Consistency is the key element her and they have what I refer to as a salon culture which is impeccable from the front door to the back. Their guest service coordinator Rita is absolutely on top of things and also interacting with clients to ensure that each experience is consistent from the spa to the salon. Both of which I have tried. Gabriel is my personal stylist and I don't just "trust" anyone with my hair. I have never had my hair colored since an awful experience years ago that left me patchy but a few weeks ago I went from dark brown to a playful and flirty lighter brown with copper and sun kissed high-lights. I give them a perfect 10 on knowing how to color my hair being that it was completely virgin in color and chemicals. I encourage you to give them a try if you're looking for impeccable service and consistency in practices and care for your hair!

I just had an appointment with Cherry for a brow wax. She is always punctual, professional, friendly and great at what she does!! Highly recommend!

Had a great experience. Went for a couples massage while in town and wishing I had an opportunity to return.

Massage therapist, Barclay, WOW! The massage was so relaxing that I fell asleep. Hot stone therapy was used because I had sore muscles from a lot of choir directing. I love my biweekly massages. It's preventive medicine.
I also love getting facials with Kevin. He keeps my face looking much younger than I am. Thanks Kevin for pampering me .

Phenomenal Experience! Highly recommend Helen at Spa Visage!

My services were all great. I got the international package. My boyfriend got me a gift card as a graduation gift and I waited six months for the right time to use it. Day of my appointment, I get a call at 8 am saying that all of my appointments had to be rescheduled. They were able to be rescheduled for the same day, but 4 hours earlier. I had to rearrange my schedule for the entire day. When I suggested that they discount the package since they had to make such a significant change so suddenly, they basically said too bad. Again, my mani, pedi, and massage were all great, but that's not how you do good business. Take care of your customers when you screw up. I'll go elsewhere next time.

Had a great experience getting a mani/pedi and a massage. I also had a chance to try out the new infrared sauna as well and it was awesome. But, I was there for almost 3 1/2 hrs and was very annoyed at check-out when I was surprised with an additional $29 charhe for extended wear polish or something. My husband had made this appt. for me and purchased a gift card to cover the exact amount of the package which included a mani,pedi, and massage. I had this with me when I first arrived and planned to just leave tips, but somehow I was provided with an upgraded service and no one told me until it was time to pay. I don't mind paying for a service, but I would like an opportunity to decide which services I want and dont want pand the prices prior to receiving them. There is no way I would have ever chosen to pay nearly $100 for a mani/pedi. And the mani didn't even include hand wash, lotion, or massage. Just polish. That is ridiculous! I probably would have recommended others to go here and would have returned myself, but that is just dishonest business and a lack of courtesy to customers. I am never going back there!

I get a massage with Justin at least once a month. He is amazing if you want someone that understands what you need. I don t know what I could without him! I have a lot of back problems and when I leave I have so much relief! He s the BEST!!!!

I went here as a mini getaway after dealing with a lot of heavy stuff in my family. I did a package that included a 60 minute massage, and mani/pedi. I added on a 30 minute facial as well. The massage was incredible. Helen was my therapist and it was the best massage I have ever had. Next time I go back, I will splurge for the 90 minute option it was so great. The mani/pedi was great too, however I ended up doing a gel, and found out at check out that there was a $12 up charge for that option. I was not surprised, since gel usually is an up charge, however I would have appreciated someone letting me know prior to making my selection. No one said anything until it was time to pay. The one I was most disappointed in was the facial, it was just a simple wash, tone, and mask that burned like crazy. Usually I justify facials by getting the extractions or some sort of light therapy that I could not otherwise do at home. For a $57 Facial, I do not feel it was worth the money, however the esthetician was great. Overall a great visit. Just learned what to spend more and save more on for next time.

Dex did a beautiful job on my blow out. However, my hair color wasn't what I wanted. Still came out nice but my complaint is that she stained my whole forehead with dye. I had to go out the rest of the day looking like that. She wasn't very friendly either. For being the "best salon in Knoxville" I would expect them to be more careful with dying client's faces. I wish I would've seen it at the salon so I could say something but I didn't look at my hair until I got in the car. I will probably only come back for Dex to do my blowout.

My recent visit to Spa Visage was great! I went with my sister and we both enjoyed a massage. The services at Spa Visage are top notch and I highly recommend Barclay, my massage therapist. I've been going to Spa Visage for years now. If you're searching for a great massage you can't go wrong here!

Worst reception ever the woman kept hanging up on me. I called 6 different times and she kept picking up and hanging up until the sixth time and I asked her why she was picking up and hanging up and said she wasn t. I asked if they had any openings this week and she said yes than said there first opening appointment would be on January 4th if next year and I told her that was a little too far away and she hung up on me again seriously? I can t believe it. I am going to pay for services but that s fine.

Locally owned and operated which is a great thing. I have been enjoying the spa for well over 10 years and had one bad experience so far. So I am only going to let the one bad treatment out of so many good ones only put a small dent in mine:). When you book a service try to get a feel for the experience of your service provider. Turnover seems to be high and it shows with my latest appointment. Also they were pretty booked and only had a 30 minute massage to add on to my facial. Who does a 30 minute massage? That is just the warm up for the main course. So I would say plan ahead to get that 60 or 90 minute treatment. Also I do wish they had more packages to chose from with a break in price for the splurge. It s hard to justify a $50+ manicure on top of my $130 facial. But if there was a hot stone treatment and a salt scrub - count me in.

I would highly highly recommend Spa Visage. We decided last minute to have a girls day out. We all work in public service, so with our schedules, it's extremely rare we can all get a day off together. We were extremely worn out, mentally & physically and immediately felt relief by just sitting in the gathering room. Kudos to Cherry (my facial was AMAZING). The others were very impressed with Sarah, Amy and Beaux as well. We will definitely be back and will advocate to others!

Yes, it costs more than the many Asian nail spas in Knoxville. I have been using Annie's for years but the turnover in employees was very great. No sooner would I get comfortable with one manicurist before she would be gone and I would have to get to know another. I switched back to Spa Visage, deciding the price was worth it. I see Molly for my nails. Molly has been there for years and years. Recently when Molly was off, I had Cynthia Brown. Cynthia is also excellent and has been there a long time. The staff from the front desk to the back are happy, friendly people. They know what they are doing. If you like Gel Nails (same as Shellac), you want to get them here. There is no soaking in acetone for five minutes and then scrape, scrape, scrape! Your nails will be wrapped in foil around an acetone soaked pad. You will put your hands in warm gloves for a full 15 minutes. Your extended wear will literally peel off without the abuse to your nail bed. Ladies, this means you can do Gel Nails all year around and you will not have to stop because all of the scraping has made your nails too thin!! It is worth the few extra dollars to me.

Best massage; however, I just called back to schedule a new one and the coordinator was so incredibly rude I'll have to take my business elsewhere. It's unfortunate that perhaps the person with little or no training would ruin the perception of a business that owners work so hard to promote as the best in Knoxville.
