Salomon Smith Barney, Beverly Hills, CA Review

Couldn't afford but had lunch there too salty but beautiful views and food was actually good beautiful building. I pray to God I eat less!

All I can say about Barneys is that their online shopping exp. Is wonderful and If I need to return I can easily do it at their store with no problems. And their customer service is above n beyond.

Great store and environment... Staff is very helpful and Professional. Of course its Pricey here, but it's also Beverly Hills, what can you expect.

Now it's about to close, so it's hard to tell this used to be a upper scale store. This place will be taken off the map very soon.

Not as cool as 8n their heyday but still an interesting Designer collection.

The first time I went there a couple of months ago the Valley parking guy refused to park my car... maybe because I didn't have a Mercedes or a Porsche....
And the second time they refused to honor my 300$ gift certificate... so here I am not able to use my 300$... pretty upsetting...

Good sales and great selection of merchandise. Sales people are 'nice' once they get to know you.

Go shopping! You'll be glad that you did. They're nothing like shopping in the highest of tax brackets areas in my opinion

Excellent Service! OMG just Awesome! My buddies and I enjoyed a Delicious Lunch at Fred's Cafe at Barney's.

This is a department store like no other! Find unique gifts, unusual and hard to find brands as well as well known and "on trend" brands you love. But if you want a bargain, this isn't the place to shop. Most products are full price except during store wide sales only twice a year. Generally, prices are in the $$$$ category.

Customer service is complete trash except for one employee. Byyyyyeeeeee

Went there for lunch! Amazing food, generous portions. They wait on you promptly amazing service. Would eat there again. Great place for star spottings :P

Upscale fashion, best perfume shop in town; almost as good as Paris.

The best, friendly and helpful customer service without being pushy or overbearing. Beautiful store, impeccably arranged and the layout is pleasing to the eye. All you need in one location and then some!! The beauty basement is my favorite escape...it feels like you are in a spa!!

Absolutely ridiculous place. The Restaurant upstairs is too noisy and serves average food, clothes are privy and from previous seasons collections.

Cold, Snooty and off-putting. Only wannabes get a good treatment here.

This used to be one of my favorite places on earth. From the way staff treated it s customers, to Barneys desire to push fashion forward and take risks, to Fred s delicious food. Will miss Barneys.

Barney's on Wilshire is one of the stores I must always stop by whenever I am in Beverly Hills. Their shoe department has an amazing selection of my favorite designers along with their handbag department. I can never leave this store without stopping by Fred's which is located on the top floor. Great food and beautiful view!

The valet attendance door people not the friendliest..The drivers are good at what they do.

Racks and racks of the Emperor's New Clothes. There is a strange system of fiat fashion that seems to emanate from this store. Why pay $1k for a jacket without a liner? Because your self-worth is derived from doing such things.

They closed most Barneys stores, they can't adopt to current times. It was always upscale store, but nowadays same clothes and shoes could be bought online and at different resale stores much much cheaper. They do have sale, but still expensive.

Just moved to Los Angeles California from San Antonio Texas there is no Barneys. In S.A. TX
so I would shop at saks fifth Avenue but now that I live in LA I'll be shoping here at barneys more often the store was nice and the employees are Very nice as well told my husband how nice it was he is excited to go now

My fave store. All of the most cutting edge clothing, show and handbags fresh off of the runway plus premiere jewelry from a wide array of designers. The fragrance and makeup department has some really awesome brands and everyone is super sweet and helpful. Great place for shopping while in BH and of course there's the restaurant which overlooks the local neighborhood with views above the tree lines.

Super expensive and going out of buisness. Not much inventory left.

As a professional sewer by hand and machine, I find the quality of Barneys clothing unsurpassed in quality and detail, the only fault is that I am in Newton Kansas,so I have to plan my trips.

One of the most essential destination for any shoppers heading to Rodeo Drive. The staff is very nice as well as helpful, and they usually have the hottest in new fashion. They probably have the best scelection of designers out of all of the stores in the area, only rivaled by Maxfield LA.

Love this store. Hip and cool. So very sad they are closing it after the holidays.

Level of service to par with expected Barney's salesmen. The selection was decent and the location was good.

My wife loves this place. She has a bit of spending habit and loves the finer designer products. The ladies here are extremely helpful when i came alone to find some things for my wife that she may like. I had no idea what i was looking for but with the help of the pleasant staff i was able to get a few things for my wife that she just loved. Thank you again for the help, I wont forget it.

It was the best place location because there are many people visiting from other countries.... it is nice to walk in the street and shop, and it was relaxing place to visit.

Love the store, I went to test Frederic Malle's perfumes and I smelled them all. Great experience and customer service!

The most beautiful building.. too bad it went bankrupt..

Needless to say I am a Barneys account holder, but i can see why the company is in a financial strain at certain locations! Girls at YSL counter never greeted me or my daughter. They were busy taking pictures with the products. I m visiting from Houston, Texas and just wanted to see the actual store, being that I m only able to shop online from home. The two stars are for all the workers in the shoe department, they were wonderful .....

Great store. Great staff, great restaurant, great valet! If you're looking for something different to wear, it's a must. Like shopping in EU!

Barneys is a great store for high end, unique fashion. Prices are expensive but they always have very interesting clothing. The customer service is always top notch and the store is spotless. Definitely stop by the cologne section in the basement, they have an amazing selection!

The employees in the cosmetics department are beyond friendly - absolutely amazing. However when I made my way up to the fifth floor to buy some shoes, the SA I dealt with wasn't necessarily my favorite. He wasn't rude per say but wasn't extremely anxious to help either. And when I went to purchase my Balenciaga sneakers he brought me into the back room by the register instead of just taking my card and bringing me the shoes in the bag, which has never happened to me at Barney's. All in all, it was a much less luxurious buying experience than the one I am accustomed to at Barney's in NYC.
