I recently had a dinner at the Salish with my husband. The staff went out of their way to make the evening special. We had a private room and a lovely chat with the manager. We were so impressed with the food (delicious!), the view, and the service. It felt utterly decadent. I especially enjoyed the Baked Snoqualmie dessert (their take on a baked Alaska). I can not recommend this place enough and will repeatedly go back.

A fusion of magnificent nature, excellent customer service, amazing guest rooms, food and spirits. You literally have "everything" in one place - a getaway that's not remote, yet successfully provides a getaway experience.
Salish is nice however I was disappointed in what I received for the 500$/night after taxes and fees. The hotel was nothing spectacular. My girlfriend and I were not admitted to the spa due to too many other guests. We were told the only way into the spa was to schedule a private massage or other private treatment. We were under the impression the spa was complimentary and the hotel room had a jet bathtub and neither of those impressions were correct. So we ended up paying 500 dollars to sleep in a quaint room with a gas fire place and small/poor view of the falls, and nothing else. Also, one room service attendant told us gratuity was included and the other did not. So I double tipped on room service. Yikes.
Something in the lower spa pool near the stairs cut my wife's foot and she bled profusely. The hotel barely has basic first aid available and the spa is run down. The incident ruined the night.
Probably one of the most cohesive and decadent locations in the foothills of Snoqualmie. The dinner seating is superb with waterfall sights and locally sustainable cuisine. The rooms are posh with every kind of embellishment you could imagine. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is clean inside and out. The upgraded rooms have beautiful fire pits and services along with indoor fireplaces for rainy days. The massages are pretty darn good as well- which is really something since I own my own massage company and have been an LMT for nearly 10 years. The therapist I had was a practitioner of 15 years with quality techniques and communication practices. Overall this is a place you'll want to spend a little extra on because it has a lot to offer every occasion and group of travelers.
Very good food, but you'll pay for it. Head chef worked for Gordon Ramsay, and makes a beef Wellington with maitake mushrooms that is absolutely amazing; feeds two grown men for $125.
Must visit for any Twin Peaks fan, but a great hotel in its own right. The restaurant is excellent. Very impressed with every meal we've had there and the great service. Perfect base camp for countless amazing hikes.
We went for dinner only. The landscaping and building were beautiful. Our waiter was odd and very confusing , his descriptions of dishes didn t make sense, it felt awkward. The Brussels sprout appetizer was delicious, if a tiny bit dry. My entree was $42 and disappointing. The sea scallops were cooked well, but sand in every bite. Husbands fillet was perfect. Desert also disappointing. In this setting and at these prices you want to be blown away, we were not. Meal for four and wine $384.00. That s al lot of money to be disappointed.
Had a great time in the honeymoon suite, enjoyed every square foot of it. Staff was excellent and super friendly the waterfall and sunset view even made it more perfect. The saying goes, you get what you pay for.
This is a beautiful spot overlooking the Snoqualmie Falls. It is extremely well kept. The restaurant is a definite 5 stars. Spa facilities are available. The gift shop has plenty of beautiful treasures.
Reservations are recommended as this comfy, extremely pricey lodge is in popular demand.
This is a beautiful destination. The hotel is very nice and they pamper you like crazy. Very nice beds, huge bathrooms and showers, and nice views of the falls. I didn't use any of the spa services but it looks like they had a great selection. Warning though, it's expensive.
I had lunch at The Attic recently, staff were fast, friendly and attentive. The cheese steak roll was delicious and the duck nachos were divine! TIP: It can get busy at lunchtime, I'd recommend arriving at 11:30am on a weekday to avoid any lines and get a great table overlooking Snoqualmie Falls.
The place is beautiful and have a great view of the waterfalls! The restaurant has a great energy and people are very nice. Ask for the tables with the view, they are very romantic.
pretty pricey for what it is. The best portion of the place, by far, is the attic lounge where you can get very good food and service with an extremely comfortable atmosphere. The Lodge portion is overpriced when you consider that only some rooms have a view, they are small and riding the line between vintage and outdated. The restaurant is nice with great views if you can grab a window table, but the value is not anywhere as good as in the attic. the spa services are about what you would get anywhere with the exception of the soaking pool room, which is exceptional with two small hot pools in a nice setting(but not private).
Salish Lodge is one of the best lodges I've ever been in. The gift shop is cute and full of local fare, the spa is luxurious, and the restaurants are both delicious. It has a wonderful view overlooking the Falls and has a very quaint and heartwarming feeling throughout the entire establishment. The staff is always friendly and it's always impeccably spotless. My favourite thing to do is sit by the fires in the lobby and people watch the guests who come in to look around after they've visited the Falls. Especially in the winter when all of the Christmas decorations are up and on display.
Didn't go in the lodge, but the adjacent waterfalls are great! Edit, a year later: I didn't see the owners response below, but I actually stopped in for lunch at the Attic with wife and kids. We lucked out with a seat at the window, split an excellent pear and prosciutto pizza, easily found some new to us local beers, and enjoyed lunch. The only ding I can come up with is that everything on the kids menu is on the heavy side, although the kids pork sliders were well-prepared and well-devoured. What we saw of the rest of the lodge was pleasant, and I'll say it again, the view is pretty stunning.
Our stay was just okay. We booked a "babymoon" package that came with a baby gift (a stuffed lamb) and the price tag was left on it. When we asked staff questions, like about where to leave our bags or how the spa package worked, we got inconsistent answers from staff. Our bill was messed up when we left, and the staff said they would email me a receipt, but never did. I'd go again for the restaurant but probably not to stay overnight.
Hotel stay was great! Breakfast at the lodge had okay food but it was really greasy. Service was lacking. Took our server 20 mins to come to our table for the first time after being sat and didnt check in much. Other then that it was a great stay!
Incredible ambiance inside and out. Stayed here previously for our anniversary and slept terribly due to noise overhead and next to our room. You could hear other guests through the walls- you could even hear the hairdryer going next door. Was really looking forward to our stay as we have 2 small children on different sleep schedules and couldn t wait to sleep in! No such luck. Terrible nights sleep due to noise. Figured we would try another stay 5 years later as the food and location was great. We can t wait to get home and take a nap as the Salish is just as noisy as the last time we stayed. This stay we were awoken by screw guns, hammers, saws and construction going on next to our room. Super disappointed. Would not stay here again.
Went there for brunch and loved everything we ordered! Avocado toast. Eggs Benedict, Truffled Mac n cheese, and rhubarb mule. Excellent service-our server was quick and efficient. View was breathtaking! They had complimentary biscuits with fresh honey from their own beehives. Can't wait to go back!
Uberwealth, if you aren't ready, don't bother wasting their time, or bother bringing yourself to a whole new meaning of what embarrassment is and how it feels.
The Salish Lodge&Spa is next to Snoqualmie Falls in King county,Washington. While the facility is old,the scenery is pleasing in vicinity of the lodge s restaurant .Food at the restaurant is palatable.Service is average in the restaurant.Scenery makes the facility worthwhile. A pleasant location to visit. A reflection of early Twentieth Century living.
Great staff. Relaxing spaces. Sadly the jetted tub had a broken jet on one side and our room had some traffic noise. Fireplace in room was very cosy. Couples massage was awesome. Brunch was satisfying but a little over priced.
For the restaurant, I did not stay at the lodge. Skirt steak was tough and portions were small. For a $50 entree, I would have expected a better quality. The halibut was delicious, but again, if you like to eat large meals, this is not the place for you. Salads and sides cost extra. While the restaurant looks nice, it was extremely overpriced.
It was one of the best dining experiences I ve had in a long time. Great apps, drinks and the halibut was phenomenal!!! I absolutely loved it. It s a great place to bring friends and family. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I attended the Salish lodge with a friend after buying a Costco deal which included one night stay, two spa treatments and brunch. I've stayed at many resorts over the years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had! I can start with talking about the front desk staff who greeted us to check-in. This was the worst part of the trip by far. Greeted by a man named Nathan (a supervisor) we were checked-in for the night and then asked to see the Costco gift certificate. I explained to him that I didn't bring it with me because I was told when making the reservation that everything was squared away and given a confirmation number. He told me that he was sorry the person that took the reservation gave me incorrect information, but that they needed that to complete our check-in. I called my husband and asked him to send a picture of the certificate, showed it to Nathan and said that I can bring it in the next day given I would be on the road for 2 hours if I left to go home and get it. I am also pregnant and this is something unexpected, that I came to relax and rest and that this would hinder that. He said there were no exceptions and that a physical copy, no picture or faxed form would do. Clearly they are not tech-savvy at this establishment. I have never in my life been so upset by the service received by an upscale hotel. I ended up having to drive and meet my husband half-way so we weren't charged full price for the stay, spa treatments and brunch. This was unacceptable in my eyes and to make matters worse, when we returned, a customer in front of us was complaining to Nathan that they received incorrect information about their stay. Apparently, we weren't the only ones. I explained to him how disappointed I was in the fact that a pregnant woman was turned away and expected to drive to get a physical copy of a gift certificate. He did nothing to make our stay better, no free dinner, no upgrade in room, nothing. Just explained this is their policy and that no exceptions are made, ever.
To make matters worse, we got to our room and the AC was on so high, it felt like a refrigerator. I turned it off, went to dinner and came back hours later and it was the same temperature. I called housekeeping and they explained that you can only have AC or heat and not both so a technician had to come and turn the heat on. Ridiculous that I need heat when it's 90 degrees outside. To add to this, there were cigarette ashes outside of our room, which Nathan was clear that if we smoked there would be a $100 charge per person for that. I called to report this so that we were not responsible for it, which again is a ridiculous thing to have to do when you come to relax. I went to turn the water on for the bathtub and the water wouldn't turn on, had to call the technician back for that in which he needed to use a wrench to turn it on. He explained that the water leaks so this is why that needs to be done. This again is just unheard of for a upscale resort. I thought to myself what is next?!?
The check-out with Adrienne (spell) however was no better than the experience with Nathan. I explained that on our final bill I needed it split between myself and my friend with a difference of $20 between the two because I received an extra eye treatment in the spa. The bill was for $84 and she explained that it would be $22 for my friend and $62 for myself. I looked at that, considering the tips for the spa treatments alone were $24 per person that total could not be correct. She disagreed with me and said that was what I asked for a $20 difference between the two. I in turn disagreed and said that is not correct and that it should be changed to $52 for myself and $32 for my friend. She then said okay, that's not what you asked me to do, but I guess I can do it that way. What!?!?!? I couldn't believe the lack of customer service that the front desk had to offer. No apology, nothing. I will not return to Salish Lodge and Spa again and would recommend if you read this to not waste your time going there.
Was disappointed that there is now a $65 fee to use the luke warm hot tub and spa , we were not told about this fee and might have chosen to stay somewhere else had we known.
Great massage, nice facilities. Locker room is a bit small, but clean. Updated changing room for spa was very nice. The steam room didn't work and the new waterfall in the soaking pools was dissapointing.
My wife and I recently stayed at the Salish Lodge & Spa for our babymoon and absolutely loved the experience. We opted for the babymoon package which included 2 spa treatments, an upgraded room with sparkling apple juice, a small gift for the baby, and $50 towards food in either of their restaurants. The value for this package was excellent, even after the Canadian exchange rate (ouch). The spa was extremely relaxing and they catered well to my wife's needs. We opted to eat dinner in the more casual Loft and the food and drinks were excellent. The room itself was large, newly updated, and overlooked the waterfalls. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!
Beauitful, but your parking was unreal. We, came back to our car, maybe 30 min later, on our wind shield, was a 50.OO bill. The, sign said free, parking. You, folks need to change your signs.did, not know you have parking for certain people. I, am 80yrs old, was happy That we could park closer, as I have trouble walking. So, warning all my friends about this, unbelievable bill, after 30 min. We, won't be coming there again...
Consistently great food and service, valets that don't mess up your car, and a great wine list. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and always willing to do whatever it takes to make your night special.
I went for Sunday brunch. The food was great and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. My friends and I sat in a secluded area right by a window with a nice view.
Took out-of-town guests up to the lodge for lunch and drinks. It was lovely, as always, and we'll continue to make this a regular stop with our friends and family.
