Salem Parks and Recreation Review

Truly appreciate all that these folks do for the community!!

Very nice place but bathrooms were very dirty. Doesn't seem like the bathrooms have been cleaned in 2018.

Been in Salem almost 20 years, and the whole town is proud of its Dept of Parks and Recreation. You need only to visit one of many of the City's venues to see why. Always well kept and safe.

Very nice walk on the Greenway along the Roanoke River.

Great place for the whole family. There's a playground for the kids to enjoy and a park where you can walk, jog, or bike to enjoy nature.

was a nice event today aug.22...in longwood park...from 5 till 830....however why dont they put in a few porta johns..especially around the upper pavilion on top of the hill....this event drew more of the older people from the area....we have to pee more ofton...there was a large gathering at that pavilion also...no shelter restrooms were open at all. WH . Dont say covid 19....other restrooms are open to the public....you missed this event badly....just our opinion
