We had a large group and enjoyed a medium room for 2 hours. However we stayed longer and weren't charged extra; it was late night and they didn't rush us out. They had an amazing deal - $30 for a bucket of Heineken; we ordered countless buckets. It was my first time at a karaoke bar and we had a whole lot of fun. Would definitely return again.

I had the pleasure of visiting Sakura on a Wednesday evening with a group of friends and it was the best karaoke lounge I've been to in Chicago. The staff was very accommodating while I waited for my group with a delicious martini. Being that it was during the week, the place was pretty empty which left the staff to be attentive to our group. Once we left the bar area to our private room, I was shown how to operate the monitor which is not in English but not hard to navigate. Would have been 5 stars if Sakura started my 2 hour private time once all my guests arrived, especially since we didn't have a reservation and it was no one else there. Overall I loved it and I will return.
Very fun place. Me and a couples of my good friends went out for a drink and to sing some songs it s wondeful time for a night out.
The people are very friendly and the location is very clean which is so needed during corona times.
I love to practice singing there before going for my shows.
Menus were all in another language. While instructions for people who didn't read that language were given it was still quite difficult to navigate. Few songs to choose from. That being said service was quick and nice. The rooms had private bathrooms which was a good touch. All in all though its a karaoke bar but it doesn't feel very welcoming to outsiders..
Fun times! We had a private room reserved, good clean fun! Not the cleanest, but for an underground establishment not bad. The lights were a nice touch. Would definitely visit again!!
Sakura was AWESOME! BEST staff EVER, everyone was pleasant, kind and very patient. This was my very first time and I wanted to do something really nice for my son who LOVES karaoke and I must tell you that I definitely picked the right place. Special KUDOS to Chris
It was my birthday and the bartenders were wonderful to me. Especially this specific lady she was so sweet. I will definitely come back!
This is one of the better karaoke bars I ve been to. The reason I couldn t give it 5 stars is because their karaoke system in the public space doesnt work well. You pick a song to sing in the open space and people that go up skip your song, or move theirs up the list. I was 5th in the list and then never ended up going.
I have reserved a room there, and it was amazing. You can choose songs from their computer that s built into the room. The room is pretty spacious.
