I spent part of St.Patrick s Day at St. Patrick s Hospital for my last dance with cancer-related business.
It was a 4 hr surgery, that as usual, couldn t have gotten any better because, since day one, St. Pat s Hospital has been a well-oiled organization with meticulous coordinated care and remains a great model for Patient-First approach.
Moreover, my mechanically inclined, highly skilled, personable, and very humble surgeon, Dr. Laurence, is fully responsible for me being able to sleep like a log on the nights leading up to our game day.
Once again, I feel indebted to this hospital and its entire exemplary team starting from support staff, reception, nurses, and the slice-and-dice guys all hellbent on giving their best
Fantastic Dr s and Nurses and staff! They are all amazing!! They are taking good care of our brother Jeremy. Thanks for all you do!
I have tried multiple times to apply for the sliding fee scale/financial aid that they offer. They always ask for more information, which I would bring to the hospital for them. They told me they lost all my documents/never received them and sent me to collections. These people are garbage.
Seek help elsewhere. My brother had covid and they told him he wasn't sick enough to stay in the hospital and forced him out. He begged them to let him stay because he couldn't breathe. But they forced him out. He later passed out from lack of oxygen and took ambulance back to the hospital. Now they finally accepted him but the damaged has been done. He is now fighting for his life. They made several comments to him like, you should have got the vaccine and told him that he has real no chance of survival. He asked them if he could be sent to another hospital and they told him he wouldn't make it. Please stay away from this hospital.
I went to have Lab work at Grant Creek Family Clinic on Friday August 27th. Madeline was the Technician and she was extremely unfriendly and seemed like she was somewhere else. I always have blood drawn in my left arm and prior visits have had no issues with the needle or poke not being able to draw blood. She poked me 3 times and still couldn't find the vein. She got frustrated as I just was as patient as could be at the moment. Finally after she was able to succeed in the right arm I was released. Told her if she didn't like her job to look for something else. She didn't respond other than a nasty glare.
I didnt leave a review a few years ago because i had thought it was a one time thing. But after hearing of a young girl being missing after this place sent her home with suicidal thought i thought id share. I was evaluated here by a female mental health "professional" with terrible suicidal thoughts. She took my mom outside the room and proceeded to tell her i was seeking attention. Why do people tell young people to seek help, if when we do you turn us away? If it wasnt for my mom taking and hiding the pill bottles i would not be here today. As soon as i got home i dug through the medicine cabinet. I was so upset that people told me this place would help. There needs to be some changes. So please parents stand up for your kids or take them somewhere else.
Please read my review before seeking care at St. Patrick. Put your faith and trust in the hands of another facility. Dr. Carter and team are negligent and careless. Dr. Carter made irreversible surgical and post operative errors that cost my grandmother her life. No treatment would have been better than treatment from Dr. Carter and team. Save yourself, your family, and your loved ones a lot of pain and heartbreak and please seek treatment elsewhere.
There heart institute plays games with peoples lives. Do not recommend at all
I left this hospital in tears & I wasn t even the patient. . . I accompanied my friend, who was unable to walk due to injury & has a few beers, to Saint Pats (the most responsible way to do it, right?). The doctor was patient & kind, but passed most of the care on to a nurse, as his condition was not life threatening. Unfortunately that was overshadowed by the blatant discrimination & lack of compassion demonstrated by this nurse (2 staple characteristics that the hospital upholds based on their website.) I am very disappointed in the care offered today, & hope they shift toward upholding these values among ALL staff members.
