The tub leaked from the 1st day we tried it. Also during installation our washing machine water lines were disconnected. When we called we were told someone would get back to us within in 1-3 business days. This was our only shower at the time. After numerous calls and emails, cleaning the tub and door seal the tub still leaked. They said if that was the problem we would have to pay $250 for a service call. (Some warranty, huh).
Someone was finally sent to check on the leak, which was because of a warped door.
Customer service needs serious upgrading.

I explored getting a walk-in tub after hip replacement surgery prevented me from continuing to use the garden tub. I called and salesman Mike came to our home a short time later. He was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to talk to. We settled on the hybrid tub due to its flexibility as both a tub and a shower.

The installation crew was prompt and very courteous. They removed the old shower pronto. We opted to have a friend put in tile after the tub was installed, rather than the acrylic walls the crew prefers to put in, as those walls apparently help conceal the imperfectly plumbed walls like we had. They put up drywall and plywood, though I found out later cement board is preferable to put tile on (more waterproof), which the tile guy put up before installing the tile..

The tub is a Godsend. The water, air and micro jets are very helpful in soothing my aches due to both age and Cerebral Palsy.The lights brighten things up nicely. The auto draining button is useful. And it is great that the tub purges itself of leftover water shortly after turning things off. The attached towel rack is very handy.

The customer service department was friendly and responsive.

Overall, the tub is well worth the money, as it is an investment in maintaining an aging body. I recommend this hybrid tub!

I had the Safe Step Tub installed in early June. The installer installed it wrong which resulted in the full tub to drain out on my bathroom floor, which resulted in flooding my basement. It drained into my laundry closet which ruined my surplus supply of toilet paper & paper towels.

I called on multiple occasions to see what/how they would fix my floor and I expected retribution for the ruined toilet paper and paper towel
I called and spoke with Maddie who said that Jim Alley handled those types of issues. She would give him a message to call me. I called multiple times and was told the same thing each time. I NEVER received a call from Jim!!!
I would NOT recommend anyone purchase their products because once they have your money, you're forgotten.

Service: Install tile work

Very unprofessional installation done with not up to code electrical wiring done. Also no licensed electrician installed the wrong wiring. Was very pleased with my sales rep.,Allan F. just wish the tub was a little wider in the seat area! For the price we paid for the tub, I would think they would employee true well trained installers.
Putty was found everywhere and wasn t cleaned off at all. Supposedly they re coming back to clean it up, we ll see if and when that happens.
They did come back to put in the correct code wiring but did a horrible job running the new wire. Thankfully my husband is a union electrician who will fix it.
With all this, I was not offered one cent discount!
Also a mess was left behind for us to worry about. I love the tub/shower just feel they need more professional installers and a licensed electrician, as their paperwork states, to install the correct wiring in a professional manner and not run the wire across our attic floor. Also the day of install, the breaker wasn t even put in correctly.

We love our tub and shower. They were very professional and I highly recommend this company.

Safe Step is an exceptional company. We had a few problems with the installation and the tub. Safe Step made everything right professionally and answered all of our concerns. Safe Step Walk-In Tub is a Superior Company from their helpful and courteous Salesman, precise and clean electrical work by Licensed Electrician and helper, and installed by a very professional, neat, and courteous Contractor. All Licenses and Permits were obtained by Safe Step as well as final inspection by the City was set up before the floor was closed with cement.
After hiring my local tile tech to fill in the space once filled with my Jacuzzi Tub and not needed by my Safe Step Tub I had the tile installed and added a Cabinet keeping some items off the counter and adding ambience near the Tub.
I Love my new Tub and my new Bathroom.

Safe Step installed a shower for my 85 year old mother. I was really a little skeptical that they could get the shower installed in one day because they were having to remove an enameled cast iron tub; however they somehow managed to do it! We had a couple of minor issues early on with water pressure and water temperature, but the installer was very responsive and came right back to make the necessary adjustments. My mother loves the shower and it is much safer for her. I would absolutely recommend Safe Step!

Safe Step tub patented exfoliating bubbles did more for treating and completely healing my very rare severe skin disease then what Wound Care could ever do.

I was told by many medical experts that my skin disease was untreatable. This includes the Mayo Clinic doctors.

False. Safe Step proved them wrong.

The massaging water is far better then what I expected.

The men who came to install our tub were rude, careless, and unprofessional. They damaged our tub installing it. we were told the part would be next dated to us and someone would put it on. We got a call the other day saying it would be the last week of the month. The installers made a mess in the house and left nails and trash in my driveway. The sales person sent my wife a gift card for having to clean up behind the but that doesn't change the fact that I have an expensive tub and can't use all the features because of their carelessness. We were told they had their own teams but it was quite apparent that the people who came to our house were sub contractors who only cared about getting through so they could do another. The tub has a lifetime warranty bu another thing we were told was they had all parts in house but now we are having to wait almost a month for a part. Again, our salesperson has been more than gracious but everyone else at this company have miserably failed us. When we were having the difficulty with the tub I called 3 different people with the company no one answered and the sales rep was the only one to return my call. This really makes me sorry I chose this company.
