Saddle Ranch Sunset Strip Review

The food was good but we made the mistake of sitting outside not realizing it was so close to the street.

Food was excellent. On vacation we actually went 2 nights in a row because we had such great food. The service the first night was great and it was entertaining to watch people on the mechanical bull. Second night we were there later in the night and it was Saturday. Place was packed. Service wasn't very good the second night, but they were really busy. If you go I suggest the cotton candy drink. It was awesome.

I call this excellent restaurant often because I enjoy the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The staff is extremely attentive and qualified. The service is awfully quick. Also, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I visited many times and I was always joyful. The price is honest. I suggest this place to my friends and family.

Can't say enough about how impressive the service and food was here. The blackened burger and pork ribs were so bomb! Even with a packed house on a Saturday night, the manager up front remembered my name from checking in, and every time he saw me asked me by name if everything was good. Our entire party mentioned how excellent the servers and food were. We were serenaded by two guys with guitars who were on point and were gifted a plate of s'mores goodies for the kids due to our check taking a bit long to come.

The only downside I could find here is the parking situation is tight. But that's just LA, not the restaurants' fault. Overall very impressed and will be back next time we venture to LA from OC.

I love the ambience of this place and you can't go wrong if you want an upscale restaurant burger or a truly delicious steak. There are always great music videos playing on the monitors as well as sports. For an entree, I recommend the Ribeye or if you're feeling like a sandwich, the French dip. Don't pass up on a side of loaded mashed potatoes.

Great food great portions the only downside is guys trying to play music at your table... oh and don't worry you don't have to be gay to eat there

Saddle Ranch is a great place to eat. The staff is A1, and the food is absolutely delicious! We had a large group this last time, and the service was still top notch. They have a bull riding pit, and we got our friend to ride, she had to sign a waiver, but after rousing her up, she got on that bull and gave it her all! I recommend this place whether you are alone or with others.

Good food, but definitely not the best steaks in town

Food is wonderful, arrived in good time and is very tasty. The music is good and the bull ride is loads of fun. Our waiter, Jeremiah is an absolute legend and I couldnt ask for a better waiter. Excellent choice for dessert. Loads of fun and the atmosphere could't be better. Dont wear tartan, everyone will think you're staff

Such a tourist trap. Whenever my local friends want to go here I give them an exaggerated "eye roll". The cocktails are strong, the food is ok, so ok that I can't even remember the last time I ate here. You'll see people with oversized martini glasses full of cotton candy. Over it. Tell your friends if they want to go that you'll sit out from riding the bull. Always packed and overcrowded. Don't even think about Saturday nights. Good luck!

Nice environment but, everything you touch is $12. Or $16.. I spent 140. Too much. Tortilla soup was not good. Hummus was good. The waiters have a little prejudice bone in them. I think they should learn how to be a little more open to color. We spend green . Good day in spite of..

Horrible experience, While I was eating, I found a long string of hair embedded in my food. When I asked for the manager to complain about it, he thought I put the hair in my own food. He also act as if he could care less. He did not handle this as a professional at all. I was completly blown away by this. He said it was nothing he could do about it. He's such a punk. Will never eat at this place again. And the food wasnt that good anyway and it wasnt hot.

I have been to this location multiple times and I am always impressed. Food is amazing, and the employees are attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is exciting! Split the loaded nachos as an appetizer, you won't regret it!

A little pricey, $70 for a main course and three drinks, however the service and atmosphere is great.

Good prime rib, pleasant service, valet could use some deodorant but otherwise great experience! Outdoor coronavirus seating on Sunset Blvd, cool spot to dine. Recommend the lettuce wraps appetizer too very good. Great place to eat in the strip! Thumbs up!

Tough to figure out what kind of people are drawn to this place, but it is certainly diverse. Tourists, bachelorette parties, locals looking for a change...More of a gimmicky destination than a hangout. The food is good though, and the wait staff is plentiful and eager to serve.

The manager was the biggest douche bag I have ever seen in my life, he needs to be fired

Came for drinks after dinner. Bartender was great, even gave us a free cheese quesadilla. Watching people ride the mechanical bull was very entertaining.

This place is always a good time. The staff is friendly, the drinks are good, and people that visit are generally pretty laid back and social.

The three of us needed to grab a bite to eat before going to The Comedy Store. This place happened to be super close by. I'm glad we picked it because the service was super friendly, the food was quite good and generous in size. If you're going to get appetizers may I suggest the jalapeno mac and cheese. That thing could be its own meal it was so large and delicious. I also highly suggest the edamame if you like salty things. I need to learn how to make it myself, I liked it so much.

A good place to eat with a group of friends if you're looking to hang our and have a good time. Drinks and the food is pretty good. Walking distance from some other bars and attractions. A good spot.

Not really my type of place. I'm from the South, but wouldn't return. Of course it's expensive given the location. Fun mechanical bull, nice-sized circular bar. Good nachos. Plays early 2000s music videos. Kind of a weird combo for a Texas-style rodeo type bar. I came in for an after party with a large work group, but it didn't enhance the evening in anyway for me.

Every time out of town friends come to Hollywood we come here for a good night out! The wait and bar staff are incredible, super friendly, love a good laugh and great help when needing food recommendations.
The bar staff are also wonderful, remember regular drink orders and aren't shy on their pours either. The management also ALWAYS come up and say hi, shake hands and give us a round of free shots :) Best way to get return customers!

I'm a big fan of the buffalo wings, the guacamole and they filet mignon :) The food is probably not for those who like eating healthy UNLESS its cheat day but the atmosphere is incredible... oh and you can ride a mechanical bull. What's not to love?

Old school setup for a nice Ranch experience including a Mechanical bull riding. Ambiance is nice.

This is a great place for ribs. I visit every time I go to LA. There is a mechanical bull if you are feeling adventurous! The ribs are nice and saucy but you can get dry rub as well. The rest of the menu is pretty good and there are decent vegetarian options. I recommend it as a easy place to eat. It s not smart and it is exactly as you would expect it to be!

Awesome place to sit in or out on Sunset Blvd! Fabulous for fun ....Excellent service Excellent food!!!! Great place for tourist to enjoy and ride the bull inside with TVs music etc.,. I'm waiting for them to do the on the bar dancing like Coyotes restraunts! I'm a local they have everything else but that!! Lots of fun after 7 and great happy hr before 6 !!! One of my favorite places for all ages....if you do not like excitement noise run into a movie star or rocker it's not for you !!! Lol

Great food and service here. It was very entertaining here. Best restaurant in sunset. Ever time I'm in sunset I come here. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
